That night after jack went home to go see his family as he said."Bye cupid i gotta go see my mom she said were having meatloaf tonight its my favorite!"Cupid infact did not go home he didnt even have the slightest want of going home at the time all he could think about was the fun he had with jack a fun he had never experienced in his life before.Something that would alter his life and perception and it did just after one interaction jack realized while life was not only unfair it was cold and cunning sinister even.Especially to himself cupid thought.He didnt have the vocabulary at the time to really understand and describe the feelings he felt but he knew in his heart how he felt at that time.

So as the night passed along and Cupid sat there on the run down slide he began to feel extremely hungry like a normal human being would feel but he knows its better to be hungry than to be physically and emotionally hurt by his parents.That didnt stop life from showing Cupid just how harsh it can be though as his mom slowly appeared in the distance walking up the sidewalk to the run down park."Cupid what are you doing here i was so worried about you!"Said Cupids mom.The sincerity in her voice caught Cupid off guard but it still made his guard go up and made him retreat back into his shell more the fact she was here."I swear i was looking all over the apartment complex for you you can ask old granny" Said Cupids mom. Old granny? old granny who the hell is that thought jack but it didnt matter.The only words that jack could seem to utter periodically at the time out of his mouth were"I dont.... wanna go back home... mama."Although he was mature for his age Cupid was still a kid."Aww dont worry about it sweetpea i swear when we get back home ill make u some of your favorite chicken noodle soup how bout that."The love for one of the first times he ever heard in her voice seemed genuine to jack so he decided to take a chance he decided to place trust in his mother again.

He eventually came down from the slide and just looked at his mom for a moment before deciding to hold his handout and as a result his mother took his hand and gave him a warm embracing smile.This was the first time jack truly thought he loved his mother with all his heart every memory before of him and his mom seemed half baked not truly genuine but maybe she really did change and become a better person maybe life really did give him some love.As they were walking home Cupids mom realized the drawings they left out on the sidewalk with the chalk only for his mom to let out a slight giggle when she saw the dinosaur they drew as to seem as she was satisfied with it or satisfied with Cupids artwork."did you draw that said?Cupids mom said."Yea.. what do u think."It looks good i swear it does.They saw the other drawings like jacks drawing of the gun supposedly looking like the gun jacks dad had Cupid wasnt sure if he actually had one it was just a drawing though.Though eventually they came to the end of the side walk back to the front door of the apartment complex.

Thirty minutes passed of this torturous pain that jack had to experience nearly passing out multiple times before dad got tired and decided to go lay down watch tv and drink more beer.His mother not even coming over to him just sitting in the corner there like she always does whenever something bad happens talking to herself.Her ramblings and so on Cupid could hear every word of it"Why is this my child, why did i birth him, please god take him away i hate him i hate him i hate his father!"Said cupids mom.
