When it was winter down came the snow as the snowflakes touched upon cupids' lips but at the same time he yearned for summer. Well now summer has soon arrived as it went from winter to spring to summer. He recognized how fast the year had gone as the school year had ended and he even had his birthday between that time in January turning him 9 years old almost double digits.Althought for his birthday January 6th he never received any birthday presents or even a happy birthday from his parents or anyone around him just fueling his ultimate loneliness. Turning and cycling his self-hatred into an even bigger ball of confusion.

But it was right around a midday summer day his life took a drastic change he didn't understand at the time. He was at the run-down park he was always at with the merry go round and a rusted down slide that was heated up to hot degrees by the raging sun pouring down sun rays. Cupid was sweating but it felt good it felt better then being hit or abused it felt for once peaceful. Though not many people ever came to the park as where he lived at the apartment complex had two parks and he was always at the one that was run down. Everybody else went to the other one due to the fact it always gave such a nice warm feeling full of smiles. While the one he went to only bring out a sort of entrapment a feeling he was all too familiar with. On this fateful day though he met a boy named jack jack was different from other kids in his school other kids in his school would make fun of him but honestly, they usually just ignored him like a ghost or a white sheet above his head saying don't talk to me don't touch me.

Well that's usually what happened this time it was different somebody besides the old man the first person to ever show him love showed him love showed him some sort of support or endearing carefulness of his sensitive nature he understood how brittle Cupid and his soul really was. All he did was offer his hand as he saw Cupid sitting down on the run down merry go round. He said, " my names jack what's yours?" Both at the same age jack was a darker shade not as white as Cupid with bright green petrifying yet warm eyes even the sun could help but stare at. Slightly taller and skinnier than other kids his age but had big poofy curly hair and a shining smile to captivate the hearts of many. So, Cupid completely flustered by the thought of someone asking about him he didn't know what to do he just stood there for a minute. "Hey, you okay bro you want to draw or something?" Said jack "Draw? draw what I've never drawn before what should I draw? Can I even draw do I have any talent?" all thoughts in Cupid's head but they all ceased to exist. When he just said "Cupid that's my name and um yeah we can draw how do i draw"

The biggest grin just smiled upon Jacks face as he had finally made a friend in his life and began to feel utterly moved and captivated by the uniqueness of cupid. So, he just talked to cupid, and they talked and talked. Hey cupid can you draw a dinosaur!" What's a dinosaur jack?" What you don't know a dinosaur its like this big green creature you got to draw it". Okay fine ill draw it jack just teach me how." Hey cupid do you live close by here my parents told me not to come here cause drunk and poor people live close to here." At that point Cupid started to doubt himself is he poor? his dad is always drunk why is my family poor I don't want to be this way. "Hey Cupid, stupid stop thinking so hard I couldn't care less if your poor your my friend so your my friend. "As he said that getting up from his chalk drawing of a dinosaur, he had the biggest grin on his face. "One day Cupid were going to make this drawing stuff into something cool too mark my words well be successful! "said jack Okay I believe in you," said cupid. So was the start of a beautiful friendship.
