I Want You

I walk into the restaurant, ignoring the eyes on me, the weight of not belonging heavy enough on my shoulders. I tell the hostess Jade's name and she leads me to a private table. I remind myself that appearances begin now and force my head not to drop. Although I want to curl into my little shell and become invisible, I keep my chin up. Jade is at the table, seated with her legs crossed and staring at me with a look akin to pride. She watches me as I approach her eyes lazily sweeping over my figure, making my nerves go into hyperdrive. I hope the dress is enough, seeing all the other people dressed in designer clothes more than my paycheck, I can’t help but feel out of place.

“Good evening Ms. Knight. I hope I haven’t kept you waiting”. I look at Jade over a wave of lust covering me like a shine of sweat coating my skin. She’s dressed in a black wide tassel lapel button down with a single button exposing her sternum tattoo and sides of her breast. A gold chain sits around her neck and a longer necklace teasingly falls in between her breasts. Her legs are hidden by the table but I know they’re smooth and strong, likely crossed. Her red coated lips tease me above her champagne glass as she takes a sip, waiting for me to sit.

Right, sit down. I’ve just been standing here like a dumb-ass.

“Good evening, Angel, please sit, we have a lot to discuss”. Her words are simple and professional but her tone is seductive and alluring. Her striking green eyes command and coax me into the chair and I play with my fingers unable to stare at her in the eyes. She’s intimidating and after kissing her I can’t stare at her face for long without glancing at her lips. Secretly wishing to feel them on mine again.

Claiming me, owning me, it was exhilarating and I left feeling like I was walking on air. She’s an incredible kisser probably from experience. What the hell am I thinking, I’m sure she just felt sorry for me earlier. I’ve been acting like I’ve never been touched by anyone since we’ve met. If it wasn’t for Leya I’m sure she’d believe I was a virgin.

“You’re blushing” Jade’s words have my eyes snapping up to meet hers. I feel my face heat more under her attention, looking away to the most amazing view I’ve ever seen. It isn’t enough to calm my racing heart. This is supposed to be a dinner to discuss a deal, so why does it feel like a date? The private table, fine dining restaurant, and those eyes that look like she wants to lay me across this table. Her soft, dark chuckle reaches my ears and I breathe out a sigh.

Wow, even her laugh sounds good.

“I thought we agreed it’s best for you not to be nervous”.

“W-We did but I don’t see how I’m supposed to do that. Especially…” I trail off, unable to help myself as that red calls to me. On the inside there’s a bull wanting to go after my target until she’s completely at my mercy. On the outside I’m a trembling wet mess, unable to look this woman in the eye.

“Especially what, Angel?”

“I can’t say it” the words come out as a whisper despite us having a private table.

“Oh, why not?” A waitress comes to take our order but Jade doesn’t stop her questioning.“We are meant to be dating, right Angel? Or do you intend on making me beg?” The waitress and I both choke on our air at Jade’s words. While the poor woman looks astonished, a rush of heat boils beneath my blood. Images of Jade Knight on her knees and the sounds of her smooth intoxicating voice begging me to please her is almost too much. I shudder as a pool settles itself between my legs.

Crossing my legs, I try to discreetly dull my desire but the smirk on her face says she knows exactly what power she holds. The waitress clears her throat, remembering that she’s at work. She takes our order and quickly disappears, probably to tell all her coworkers.

“Well, Angel?”

“Y-Yes, I-I know but…I can’t help it Jade you’re intimidating”.

“I haven’t even begun to be an intimidating Angel. If you can’t handle me, then maybe this isn’t a good idea after all”. I stiffen as my plans of a new life for Leya come to a screeching halt. I can’t just cower out so instead I straighten my shoulders and look at Jade in those green eyes I could drown in. Her smirk of approval fuels my confidence.

“I can handle it”.

“Are you sure?”

“Yes”.

“I like the sudden spur of confidence but you have to be ready for everything. These people are vultures, even my own family are waiting for me to fail. It is not enough to just be convincing we have to be adoring, a power couple. One that persuades the hearts of tabloids all over the world”. I nod as she hands me a glass of champagne that probably cost more than my dress. The sparkling wine helps me to relax as I think over her words.

“How are we going to do that?”

“For starters I know you’re worried about me being your boss”.

“It’s one concern”. Along with the fact that I’m starting to catch feelings.

“That is why I have spoken to a friend of mine. Alexia Martin, she’s my attorney, horribly disorganized, and also looking for an assistant. I recommend you”.

“Oh, that’s-thank you Jade”. That was sweet of her definitely beats working at a diner for minimum wage.

“It’s nothing, I told you I would protect your image. If this helps with that then I have no problem recommending you. Besides, I read your resume and saw your transcript, it’s impressive. My face heats up at her open compliment. She’s so sweet and my heart can’t handle it. Luckily, our food arriving saves me from responding.

Throughout dinner we ask basic questions about our likes and dislikes while I try not to scarf down the best Italian food I’ve ever tasted. As we finish our food Jade grows quiet and seems content staring into my soul instead. I clear my throat as I set down my fork, saying a mantra of confidence over in my head as I meet Jade’s gaze dead on.

“Why do you stare at me so much?”

“You're a beautiful Angel and I like to admire beauty when it is placed in front of me”.

“You are more open than I expected, people say you can be cold and hard. I have to admit it catches me off guard”.

“I’ve never been shy about what I want. People expect me to waver and compromise but I don’t. If I want it, I go after it, and no one stands in my way”. Her eyes hold a promise and her face is stern, serious, it gives me chills. That look says there’s no argument and her words are law. I stare at the table away from the intensity in her eyes. If she keeps up with this I might ask her to fuck me right here in this restaurant. I drink more champagne, clinging on to the alcohol and past approvals of my displays of confidence from Jade.

The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

“And you want me?”

“Yes, Kitten, I thought I made that clear. However, I’ll make it very plain. I want you. I want to know how you taste when you cream on my tongue. I want to hear your moans when I pound into your sweet, tight, heat”. Jade leans forward just enough to give me a teasing peak at her breast. Her tongue darts out, licking her plump red lips while I try not to come undone from her words. That pool has transformed into an ocean and clenching my thighs shows no sign of relief.

“My sweet Kitten, more than anything I want to take you to the euphoria of pain and pleasure. I want to watch your gorgeous face contort with unbidden animalistic lust as I claim your body, mind, and soul. I want to dominate you Angel, until I’m in your dreams and your taste is imprinted on my tongue”.

“Jade…” I have to bite my lip to keep from moaning her name. I feel myself get impossibly wetter at the dirty words falling from her lips. My face isn’t red from nerves anymore, now it’s from the heat she exudes. With this proximity it feels like I’m suffocating. It’s so cliché but my heart is threatening to pound out of my chest. My hands feel clammy and I’m sure I’m a blushing mess. If only she knew how much she already invades my senses even when she’s not around. My mind is captured by Jade.

“Yes, Kitten?” I don’t have anything to say, my brain has gone numb. Her name simply fell from my lips against my own accord. The sound is more akin to a plea than anything else. A plea for what I don’t know, maybe for her words to become reality. I don’t know how to tell her I want that too, so I stay silent.

This wasn’t supposed to be a date or dinner of seduction.

I damn sure am not supposed to have feelings for her, but can you blame me? She’s spectacular. Even still, this was supposed to be business but now I feel like I’m sitting in a field being circled by a lioness. Jade is a huntress and I willfully surrender. No matter how bad of an idea this probably is. Our server comes back and I take a breath thankfully from the break in tension.

“Would you two like dessert this evening?”

“Angel?” I shake my head and Jade asks for the check. When she leaves, Jade’s attention is once again on me.

“I know we didn’t discuss much business but I believe if we let things flow naturally it will be more convincing. You know what I like and dislike, vice versa. We can tell people the truth that we met at the hotel bar, there’s no need to go into much detail. At least not for the public, my parents will be a bit more nosy”.

“So, they’ll want a whole story?”

“Probably, but I’ve always been private about my love and sex life. They know when to stop pushing for details. Since we told my mother this is new we don’t have to worry about specific dates. Though we should discuss payments, your new place, and the daycare for Cataleya. I want you to be as comfortable as possible during this process”.

“You really don’t have to get me a new place. With what you offered and a new job that’ll be more than enough to get something for Ya and I”. The truth is I can feel myself getting more invested than I ever intended. I know there will be no getting Jade out of my mind after tonight and I’d rather have my own safety net. When this is over or if it goes bad I don’t want to be left with nothing.

“Nonsense, I told you I’ll take care of it and I will”.

“No really, Jade it’s fine” she cuts her eyes at me and I quickly lower my eyes. Her voice was stern and I felt like I’m sitting in front of the principal. She’s never given me that hard cold stare, it leaves me with mixed emotions. Lust, mild fear, and curiosity. I hear her rise from the table and she comes over, towering over me, tilting my head up.

“It’s been a few years since I’ve been able to spoil someone. I can show you a world you never knew existed, will you let me?” Jade trails her finger along my jaw to my lips, teasingly trying to open my mouth. I hold her stare and daringly sneak my tongue out licking her finger. She doesn’t need another invitation, inserting the digit in my mouth. I greedily suck on her finger, encouraged by the dark shading of her eyes and the slight part of her lips.

I don’t want to be spoiled or materialistic. I just want her to be the sweet, endearing, teasing woman that happens to be a CEO. The Jade that spends the day going to aquariums and diners with me and my daughter. The woman that cares about my well-being and my self-confidence. I don’t need the perks.

“Damn, Kitten” she doesn’t say more than that as she adds another finger. I don’t falter, holding her gaze, loving that I can affect her like she does me. I wonder if she’s half as wet as I am right now because my underwear are ruined. She slowly retracts her fingers and I wait, wondering what her next move will be. She cups my chin, uncaring about my saliva on my face, tilting my head back. A dangerous smirk plays at her lips as she stands over me.

"We're going to have a lot of fun".

"W-What kind...kind of...fun?" I can barely speak as her nail traces a sharp path down to my throat. Flashes of our previous encounters float through my mind and I shiver.

Is it fucked up that I love the feeling of her hand wrapped around my throat?

"The kind that leaves you begging for more". Jade releases my chin before starting to gather her things, allowing me a second to breathe. I swear she's going to give me whiplash or a heart attack one of these days.

"I don't typically eat out, Mason is far too jealous, but I gave him the night off once I arranged our dinner".

"Mason?" My mind reels to catch up with her words while I try to calm my racing heart and raging libido. I don't get how she can act so calm after all that. It feels like my chest is going to explode.

"My personal chef".

"You have a personal chef? How rich is this woman?”

"Yes Angel, I have a personal chef. The last time my assistant saw fit to check, my net worth was north of 900 million".

"I-I'm sorry. I-I didn't mean to...you know..."

"I had Mason make one of my favorite desserts. Would you like to come over and have a taste?" Her smile is a mix of amused and relaxed, she’s so effortlessly gorgeous.

“Like…at your house?” She smirks, amusement clear on her face as she stares at my blushing, nervous, fidgety form.

“Yes Angel, at my penthouse”.

“Um, o-okay, yeah”. Jade gives me a serious look and I can't help but tense. She makes me nervous but not in the way it was before. I feel like my crush just asked me out for the first time.

"Are you sure?"

"Y-Yes, I'm sure". Keep it together, Angel. Be cool. It’s just Jade and her penthouse…alone…and my sexual frustration is peaking.

"I'm serious, there's no pressure Angel. Don't feel obligated to do anything. I won't force you to do anything you don't want". Her words are reassuring but I can't deny that I trust her already, she hasn't given me a reason not to. If anything, she's done the opposite and proven that she's someone that I want in my life. With that resolve I tell myself to stop fucking up the opportunity in front of me. It's time to put my big girl panties on. I straighten my shoulders and nod, trying to look more confident than I feel.

"I'm sure Jade, I want to go to your penthouse". She looks pleased and a thrill runs through me knowing that I'm responsible for pleasing her. Jade stalks over, catching me off guard as she wraps an arm around my waist. She crashes my body against her, the spots where our bare skin meet have goosebumps arising on my skin.

"When we step out of here people will have their eyes on us. Just like when we went out before but with more speculation, are you ready Kitten?" That nickname is starting to grow on me. Jade is growing on me…a lot. She reaches across the table a smile playing at her lips, her eyes boring into mine with so many unsaid words. I wish I knew what she was thinking. She’s impossible to read but there’s one thing I’m sure about.

"I'm ready for anything" Jade smiles so genuine I can’t look away. At this moment I know for sure that I want more than a business deal. A gasp sounds behind me before she has the chance to respond.

"I'm so sorry, I don't mean to interrupt" the waitress is staring at us, blushing and wide eyed. Girl, me and you both. I think my heart is going to run out of my chest with how fast it’s beating.

"That's quite alright, Sidney. My date and I were just leaving, have a good evening". Jade moves from my body, taking her warmth with her. She takes her card, giving Sidney a couple hundred dollars tip, making her stammer out a "thank you". Jade barely acknowledges the girl, all of her attention on me.

"Lead the way" she puts a small encouraging hand on the small of my back, standing close enough to make me shiver. My nerves are forgotten and that rush of invigoration from earlier returns. Jade is untouchable and I can't be a weakness to her image. I have to be as strong as she is in the public eye. I can crumble when we get behind the walls of her penthouse.

"Confidence looks sexy on you" that's all the encouragement I need. Time to face the wolves head on. I have a feeling her mother won't be too happy about this.
