Odin

Odin sat on his throne with his elbows resting on the arms and his fingers steepled beneath his aquiline nose. Though he looked alone, he wasn’t. His trusty ravens Mugin and Hugin sat deep within the shadows behind his throne.

He’s thinking about her again,Mugin sighed to Hugin.

And why wouldn’t he?Hugin asked. That girl may be his granddaughter, but she could spell trouble for all of us. He knows that as well as we do.

How can one measly human spell trouble for the gods of Asgard?Mugin countered.

“Because she is Loki’s daughter,” Odin answered.

WHAT?The ravens squawked in mock disbelief.

“Yes, Akira is Loki’s daughter. She even looks like him. Except for her eyes, she must have gotten those eyes from her mother. They are truly unnerving.”

What makes them so unnerving?Hugin asked coming to land on the right side of the back of Odin’s throne.

“Hard to say exactly what it is that makes them so damn unnerving,” Odin answered.

Oh?Mugin asked joining his brother but on the other side of Odin’s throne.

“She’s far smarter than she lets on. She’s also far more calculating and devious than anyone knows. Perhaps it is this that makes her gaze so unnerving,” Odin mused. “She’s able to read subtle changes in body language and analyze it on the fly. It seems almost like she is reading your mind when in reality she is merely predicting your response based on your body language and the minute reactions to everything everyone around you is saying. She can do all of this in a split second without blinking, breaking eye contact, or making it look like that is what she is doing. If that is even a small fraction of her power, she will be truly dangerous when she learns to harness all of it.”

What makes you think she can even access any of her power? Mugin asked concerned.

“Because her mortal body is dying, making way for her powers to manifest,” Odin answered.

You fear she could start Ragnarok? Hugin asked.

“No, she is Ragnarok.”
