~several 100 meters underneath Elms~

In the darkness a being stirred. It's consciousness awakened by an unknown factor or else it would've slept for another eon. As it's eyelids slowly opened it's sight was filled with darkness, and as it moved it's arms and legs they got stuck on the edges of the small crawlspace that trapped it. 

'Where am I?' The entity thought to itself. As silence answered it's question, it felt a slight tremor coming from above. As it debated on whether sleeping was a better alternative than checking it's surroundings another tremor came from above. An anger overwhelmed it's thoughts for a second. 

'That's... Odd, well i have nothing better to do,' the entity's thoughts took a turn as it remembered the feeling of the emotions it had so long forgotten. As it decided to check out the source of the tremors, it's muscles began to squirm as if thousands of worms were living underneath it's skin. It's body began to emit craking sounds and it's once hibernating cells began to come to life.

'My body feels different somehow, how long have i slept?' The entity's thoughts came up with all kinds of possibilities. However, silence once again answered it's thoughts. 

'I guess I'll find answers elsewhere,' as the entity had it's mind set on going out, it streched a hand through the dirt above it and began it's ascent. the tightly packed sand and rocks were more like a slightly thicker version of water as the entity seemed to easily climb his way. The tremors increased in strength and occurance, and a strange smile plastered itself to the entity's face.

hey guys this is my first novel, well first chapterish prologue(kinda short though). I just write for fun. I'll accept all criticism or praise. Maybe you might like the story or hate it, but critics are always welcome. I'll write when I have free time, so expect something.
