Chapter 33- Elder Seer
"I am Roen, I know your Elder seer let me meet her." Roen explained and kindly asked the mysterious woman.
"I did not ask who you are. I asked what you are." The mysterious woman's previous peaceful continence was replaced with a threatening stance. Tyor was already annoyed by the crowd of hostility and when this mysterious woman was getting ready to attack his master he lost it.
"Understand the consequences of your actions woman!" Tyor yelled and blood vines erupted from his arms. They started to encircle the woman and turned into spikes that plunged themselves at her. The mysterious woman reacted by pulling a white branch out of thin air and lightly tapping the air in front of her twice. Suddenly the blood vines halted their assault and began to petrify at an alarming rate.
"I believe it is you who should understand who it is you're talking to. Now boy, what are you?" After the blood vines had petrified, the petrifaction spread to Tyor and quickly solidified him. She then turned to Roen and pushed for an answer with a face full of confidence and pride.
"Stop it Theresa! They already swore on their souls not to harm the forests and I must show them to the Elder seer!" As Roen was about to act, Sarah jumped in front of the three and explained. The elves who were watching held traces of disgust when she told them.
"Do you not know how to think! If it wasn't for the seer, you'd be in sentenced to deep sleep long ago!" Theresa berated Sarah harshly and lightly waved the white brach. The once petrified Tyor regained movement and he angrily stared at the mysterious woman.
"I will not harm them then. However I will not let them pass unless that thing tell me what it is right now!"
"Ahh~ well I'll apologize to Silvia later, hey you can insult whoever you like, but understand the gravity of your mistakes." Roen spoke fluently and slowly as if afraid no one would hear him. His clothes fluttered and a rose made of blood formed in his right hand while a purple sphere coalesced in his left.
The sphere and blood rose both were terrifying to the nearby elves and all of them unconsciously took a step back. However they still stayed and held confidence in Theresa.
"You dare use such evil spells here!" Theresa was enraged and waved her white branch in a fury. A gray colored aura began to radiate from the ground and gather around the white branch. The once fertile ground surrounding her turned into a grey stone and some parts of the air began to solidify into stone and the spread launched itself at Roen.
Roen replied by rotating his left hand in a circle and the purple sphere turned into a purple ring. Then he placed the blood rose into the ring and the ring wrapped around the rose. He carefully placed his creation on the ground and smiled at the woman named Theresa while pulling Sarah behind himself.
"Bloom."
Following Roen's words the surrounding ground shivered and then several hundred red petals started to shoot out from the blood rose he set on the ground earlier. The once unstoppable petrification halted and immediately got blown apart by the blood red pedals. However before the pedals could reach Theresa, a huge gale swept past the entire forest and the blood pedals lost their shape returning to their originally liquid state.

"I see you are quite displeased by our hospitality, but please don't take your anger out on rowdy children." A voice floated down from a descending figure. The figure appeared to be walking on steps made of wind and their long green dress fluttered with each step.
When the figure appeared all the surrounding elves hastily kneeled and bowed their heads. Roen's mood did not sour when his spell was destroyed easily on the contrary he appeared to be quite happy. However his smile quickly faded away when the figure came closer and everyone could see her features.
Her face was veiled by a light green cloth that concealed her facial features. Her body was curvaceous, but was mostly covered by her long flowing green dress.
"Who are you? Where is Silvia?" Roen's words held a hint of worry and apprehension.
"I am the Elder Seer whom you wanted to see so much. As for Elder Seer Silvia, she died several million years ago." The woman's voice spoke calmly and matter of factly. Roen's face paled at the woman's words and he fell to his knees.
"I'm sorry, I just need, some time." Roen spoke in broke up sentences and was obviously distressed by the Woman's words. Engil and Tyor silently watched Roen's mental struggle, respecting his wishes. The Elder Seer silently told the surrounding elves to leave after seeing that Roen or the others will not make any dangerous movements.
"Ok I'm alright now, I presume Silvia or a previous Seer told you about me, so can you tell me about what has happened while I was asleep?" Roen calmed his nerves after awhile and asked the Elder Seer.
"I was told about you yes, but your appearance is quite different and your name is also different. If it wasn't for you using souls in your spell I wouldn't have tied the two together."
"Yes I don't know the reason for my change, and there are many other things I need to figure out."
"Then allow me to decrease what you need to know. This continent of Elms is actually a small island that was cut off from the original continent. In fact it was supposed to be a prison, for you." The Elder Seer went silent when she said those words, as to let it sink in and then continued, "However Elder Seer Silvia secretly smuggled several thousands of people here and brainwashed them through several hundreds of years. The supporters of the Nightmare races found out about this, but they couldn't find this island anymore thanks to Elder Seer Silvia giving her life to shroud this continent in mist with the use of her grand spells."
"Silvia..." Roen spoke softly and was barely audible, but the Elder Seer still heard this and gave a slight smile.
"However an anomaly was birthed about a thousand years after Silvia died. The once shrouding mists gathered on half of the island and a entity known as the Lands of Sorcery. We were only told a little bit about you, and that if you ever came we should help. We originally believed you were part of the Lands of Sorcery, but now that you're here and asking for information then even we have no idea what they are." The Elder Seer gave a wry smile as she said this and looked into Roen's red eyes.
"That's fine I'll ask them myself, but I'm a little too weak right now. Anyways, that is all I needed, so we'll be on our way." Roen thanked the Seer and asked her to send them out. Soon the spiraling aura was again suspended in front of them.
"Oh by the way you should take Sarah with you. It is impossible for an elf to get lost in the woods plus she has some good magic that can help you find your way." The Seer stopped them before they could get leave and started to list off Sarah's strong points.
"No thanks, we'll be good, we prefer walking on our own. Also thank you, Silvia you have done more for me than I can ever repay." Roen bowed to the trees and spoke in a respectful tone. Then he kicked the confused duo into the portal.
"Now what is it you wanted to really say?" Instead of leaving Roen turned and faced the Elder Seer as if seeing through her veil.
"Haha~ nothing much really it's just that, are you sure you can feed that thing?" The Elder Seer continence grew serious as she paused and nervously pointed at Roen's white robe.
"No...but for my revenge, I must satisfy it the best that I can." Roen answered and left leaving the Elder Seer standing there.
She made some hand signals after they left and a shadow darted through the spiral before it closed.
