Alice: Not to mention its total crap!
Seo-Jun: No! You don’t get it! These penalties are life threatening and way too unreasonable for us to clear when we’re just staarting out, but the protagonist halo always helps the MC survive, but if this isn’t multi-protag, that means only one of us would have it or maybe more of us would survive but that’ll probably be for some character development or as cannon fodder or something…We can’t risk it!
Daiki: I did not understand a word you just said but I’m assuming its serious and important for us to do these before the timer runs out or at least one of us is a goner…?
Seo-Jun: Yes! Exactly!
Jason: Well then lets get to it…what’s first?
Zhiren: Lets do the last one first…its the least time consuming…

They all took out their fight-sticks (heh) and started doing either one while Alice somehow acted like she’s in a wuxia and slashed and stabbed in a way looking like some profound sword technique developed after enlightenment…only to get it stuck in a tree…
Everyone: Pfft…
Alice: Shut up…
They continued and managed to complete both tasks within 15 minutes…
Daiki: 3 down, 3 to go…what now?
Jason: Well, since we already worked up a bit of a sweat, lets continue with the work-out and get the jumping jacks out of the way…
Seo-Jun: (sweating and panting) Y-yeah…(￣┰￣*)
Seo-Jun’s lack of physical fitness caught up with him as he jumped as if on the verge of death…
Jason: Hey man…you ok? Why don’t you continue after a sip?

(Slowly and Carefully trying to get down but lost her footing and fell, but Daiki caught her just in time)
Seo-Jun: Is this really the time to be shooting your dog-blood drama? We’ll be dead, if you keep trying to feed us this dog-food, so…
Zhiren: (interrupting) Excuse me! But its clearly not like that and besides I’m not interested in that any time soon, no offense to you Daiki.
Daiki: None taken…and me neither.
Seo-Jun: See…isn’t that just setting up the perfect plot…
Daiki: I really don’t get how your mind works bro…
Seo-Jun: No but really I think we should all reveal under what conditions we came here and our trauma…it’ll be good for team building and usually a dark past helps in these situations anyway…If it’s too much you can just vaguely mention it. Alice you go first.

System Notification! 10 hrs remaining 50 minutes remaining…
Daiki: Let’s put a close on this for now and focus on these…we just need to collect 10 flowers but I don’t see a single one here…let’s look.
They looked high and low, scouring the land wherever they set sights on, crawled and dug around for almost four hours…they joked around, laughed when Alice fell into the mud, covering her face, when Daiki tripped over a root, when Jason hit his head on a low branch and when Seo-Jun got freaked out by a bee…They bonded over the mundane and annoying tasks, having a few hours of peace which was the calm before the storm.
5 hours later…
Ugh…what the hell is up with this?!’ cried out Zhiren while crawling on the ground.
‘Tell me about it. I thought we’d be fighting or training for the Daily Tasks…so why are we here looking for random flowers in a place called the Forbidden Forest?!’, complained Alice.
‘Who would’ve thought our first task would be to collect 10 flowers each’, sighed Jason.
It was a good thing they did it in a mixed order, since the first turned out to be the most time-consuming, all together costing them the day light they had…
