It was a hard training regimen that Eugene had signed up for. Despite his relaxed demeanor, Sife proved to be a rather strict teacher. He was only giving him the necessary breaks he required, though he thankfully made sure not to push him to the point of exhaustion. He had him start with basic stretches and exercises to help his body adjust to the training more easily for the first day.
Unfortunately, the young man had little experience with exercising, so Sife had to take more time to adjust his training than initially planned. Though his expression showed he didn’t plan on giving up.
Ryuze wanted to complain though, saying how he shouldn’t push their summoner so hard. Eugene had to reassure him he was ok to get him to back down, so instead the dragon went back to his duty in doing security checks around the house.
Abdul meanwhile took the liberty of cleaning the whole house. Making sure to wipe off the dust that was collecting around while also making sure everything looked neat and organized. Once he finished, he began preparations for making lunch. He figured something more energizing and helpful on recovery would be the best so proceeded to make some simple turkey sandwich with some lettuce and tomatoes while neatly cutting them into triangles to make it easier to eat. He also poured a nice cold glass of orange juice as refreshments once it was time for a break, calling Eugene over.
Eugene came in feeling exhausted and sweating from the work out, of course the robot butler was already prepared and provided him with a clean towel to help him dry off.
“And how was the first day of training Master Eugene?”
Eugene was still catching his breath as he wiped himself off “Exhausting…. I didn’t know it was going to be this intense….”
“This unit has prepared sustenance to help rejuvenate your energy and are all set in the table. Do enjoy master.”
Eugene thanked the robot as Abdul took the used towel and bowed, making sure he was properly seated before going to clean it off.
As the human began to settle in and enjoy his meal Sife came inside as well, since the training for today was done for now he took no time to sit himself on the couch, already ready to relax.
“Not a bad first day of training wouldn’t you say boss? ~ There’s a lot of work to do so tomorrow is going to be even more intense. ~”
At those words Eugene suddenly froze before he could take the first bite off his sandwich.
“Ehehehe…. Yeah….”
“Don’t forget though boss, you need to get a good understanding on how your mana crystal works~”
Eugene nodded in agreement before starting to enjoy his lunch, the sandwich helping him ease his hunger while the cold orange juice helped relieve his stress. It already felt like he was regaining his energy back, he took a note to try to thank Abdul for the lunch later.
He took a glance towards Sife and was surprised to find him already taking a nap, he was already making loud snores to signify how deeply asleep he was. Eugene noted how he was the one who was participating in intense training and wondered how Sife could fall asleep so quickly like that.
After finishing his meal, the young man sat on the free couch as he took out his mana crystal. He remembered how the system within it responded to him and thought he could try to open it. No sooner had he thought that than a menu screen appeared in front of him, as well as new notification.
Menu

Deck List

Card Store
200 coins have been rewarded for first time in intense training.
It was nice that he got some reward for his training, it gave Eugene a bit of extra motivation to continue. From what he could tell it seemed to be a list of options for him to go through. He had already gone through the card store so decided to check out the Storage option. He noticed that it responds to his thoughts as he saw the option open up, pulling up a new menu.

So, this was where all the cards were stored. He recognized them both from the cards he was drawing and from that pack he opened up earlier. This would be useful for keeping track of all his available cards.
Now all that was left was to check the deck list option. He pulled up the menu again and opened a new menu.

Beginner Deck
Locked
It seemed for the moment Eugene has only one deck available for now, but he was glad he’ll be able to open his options in the future. He had to wonder what the conditions were to unlock more deck options. For now, he decided to check the one he has right now.

He recognized most of the cards, having used or drew most of them. The only one was Cinder Blade. He decided to check out its details while he was at it.
Cinder Blade

The card reminded him of Frost Breaker except for that it was a fire weapon instead. Still with his new cards it would be a good idea to edit it while he has the chance. Eugene was starting to get excited, it felt just like when he was going through his favorite card game, Grimoire Wars. He remembered that Ryuze showed interest in learning about card games and figured Grimoire Wars would be a good one to teach when they have the time, probably after his training.
As Eugene was pondering this, he noticed that he was done editing it and checked out the updated deck.

He thought it was a nice even spread of three and two copies each, Eugene wanted to add the new cards he obtained. Eugene was actually excited to try them out when he got the chance.
“I see you’re having fun with your mana crystal boss~”
Eugene jumped in surprise, he was completely invested with going through the cards he failed to notice that Sife was awake, happily watching his summoner at work.
“O-oh eheheh yeah…”
The black bull started to stretch as he got up. “Well, I say we had a good enough break now let’s get back to training shall we boss? ~”
Eugene was rather reluctant; it didn’t feel like he had nearly enough time to rest. Though the look in Sife’s eyes said he was going to insist so he didn’t think he was going to get out of it.
So, the training continued for the rest of the day, as intense as before. It went on like this for the rest of the day. Sife insisted that they continued till the sun started to set.
“Alright that’s good for today boss. Good job~”
Finally, Eugene was ready to rest. This was only the first day and he was already this exhausted, he could already feel his muscles sore and he was ready to practically plop to bed.
It seemed Abdul was one step ahead of him and had everything prepared for him. Bowing his head as he presented himself to his summoner.
“This unit has prepared the bath for you Master Eugene as well as your sleepwear. Do enjoy your well deserve rest.”
“You really don’t need to do all this Abdul.” Eugene tried to insist, he still wasn’t quite used to being pampered like this.
The robot shook his head in disagreement. “This unit has been built for the purpose of serving you.”
Eugene had to give up, if Abdul insisted on it, he wasn’t going to deny him. He got himself ready for the bath when he noticed Ryuze return from patrol, noticing Eugene’s exhaustion and looked ready to begin another argument with the black bull, complaining about pushing me too hard again.
Before the argument got too heated, Eugene rushed to the bath, wanting to relax for the night. All of his familiars are definitely…. Unique to say the least. Eugene will need to figure out how to get everyone to get along soon since they all are living together, and hopefully school will help with that. There were still six more days left before school started back up and he needed to be ready for anything, both physically and mentally.
