The great howl echoes around, fear filling across the hearts of everyone as they begin to panic, many rushing to flee from the site of the creature. As there were only students who had just summoned their familiars, the only one who could handle the creature was the instructor in charge.

As the energy dispersed, the figure started to come into view and what appeared was what looked like a wild husky Beastman. But he was adorned with black sharp looking tattoos adorned across his body indicating he was actually a demon from the world of Terminus of the Sin of Pride. He was wearing tattered clothes and he had shackles on his neck, arms, and legs with broken chains hanging on each one giving him the appearance of a prisoner. He was snarling like an untamed beast that was ready to attack anyone that came near him.

Seeing how bad the situation was the instructor began to take charge, “The familiar is out of control! With his Summoner unconscious there’s nothing preventing him from wreaking havoc everywhere. I’ll do my best to subdue the creature while everyone evacuates!”

With his declaration the instructor pressed his own mana crystal, a decorative badge pinned on his shirt, as a shark Beastman materializes near him. As he reads the situation, he looks towards his Summoner and nodded understanding what needs to be done.

The instructor takes hold of his badge and aims it towards the beast as large, pressurized water gushes out of it and lands at the crazed beast causing him to stagger back. But that only captured the beast’s ire as it glared back at the instructor, wildly snarling at them as he roars loudly. The sound piercing through their ears stopping them in place. The shark man managed to resist it as he conjures out a trident ready to continue the attack with his summoner following right after.

The instructor conjures another stream of water at the beast at the same time the shark Beastman springs forwards, trident at hand, for a direct attack. But unlike before he dodges them both effortlessly and goes for the counterattack, first twisting to claw at the oncoming shark. He managed to react just fast enough to use his trident to block but it was pointless as the beast tears through his weapon, causing significant damage to the shark, pushing him back.

The beast then sprints towards the instructor, The shark was too weakened to help his summoner and in a desperate attempt to defend himself used his badge to conjure a floating water shield in front of him. As the beast swings his claw it connects with the water shield, managing to slow down as it cuts through. It still manages to connect him through, but the slowed speed managed to reduce the damage he would take. But even that wasn’t enough to stop the upcoming damage, knocking him back as well.

“Gahh! How strong is this beast!?”

No sooner had the beast finished his counterattack than he came for another strike of his claws, attacking them before they could get back up. They collapse, showing no sign of regaining consciousness any time soon.

Eugene could only watch the fight in silence. The way the beast attacks sent a chill down the human’s back. His legs were trembling in fear of what was going to happen next. Not only for himself but also for the others as well. He wasn’t sure if he should do something, just the thought of facing this beast is practically certain death. But… if they don’t do something soon or if they decide to run away, what will happen to Alphonse… he was still unconscious at the heat of the madness.

As these thoughts swirled around his mind, the beast prepares his claws to finish off his defeated opponents. But as he inches close to landing the final blow, two black hands grab hold and pins him in place.

It was Sife, the black bull was giving off a calm smile while winking at his summoner, “Well now, can’t keep letting you go on a rampage, especially since it’s upsetting my boss now, can’t I? ~”

Eugene was completely surprised over his familiar’s actions “Sife what are you doing?!”

“Hope you don’t mind bossman, but you look like you wanted to help that fox man out and I just couldn’t resist those cute innocent eyes of yours. ~”

His face couldn’t help but heat up from that flirty comment, and it different help that he was giving him such a friendly grin. Sife meanwhile though, was starting to show signs of struggle on keeping the beast at bay.

“D-don’t know how much longer I can hold on though, could use a little help here~”

In response to his call for help the dragon and robot walk forward as Ryuze spoke up.

“Give the command my lord and I swear I shall fell any opponent who dares defy you! ~” The dragon’s normally stoic expression soon changes to one full of excitement, a toothy grin plastered across his face, one more sinister in comparison to Sife’s calm smile. It was easy to tell the dragon ninja was just itching to join in the fight.

Abdul himself gave his own declaration. A tone more of matter of fact than anything else “Possible battle detected. Awaiting order to attack Master Eugene. Shall this unit engage?”

It seems everyone was raring to go and the look in their eyes made it hard for Eugene to say no. “…. Ok, just be careful.”

“As you desire Lord Eugene! ~”

“Order received. Executing Command!”

They both began to move in swift action, Ryuze’s movement proving to fast as he practically disappears from sight, leaving only a streak of shadow behind. Abdul meanwhile lifts his left hand as the middle of his palm begins to open up showing a hollow center only for light to quickly start to form from it.

“Charging… Energy at 80%...90%... Energy cannon at 100%” his LED eyes soon changed to cross hair as his focus is towards the beast. “Target locked on. Fire!”

The built-up light soon bursts from his hand, quickly shooting across the field and directly towards the two pinned beasts. Despite that Sife kept his smile, “Welp that’s my queue to leave bye bye~”

He then lets go of the beast and jumps out of the way before the blast could reach them, leaving the beast to take the full force of the attack. The energy explodes upon contact, the force of the impact was enough to cause the beast to stagger back.

Smoke spews out of Abdul’s hand before he begins to charge again “Direct hit. Preparing next attack.”

Sensing the danger of the blast, the beast switches his target towards the robot, springing into action at full speed.

“Target closing in, Relocating.” Abdul quickly tries to move away from the husky but proves to be too slow to keep his distance. The beast prepares to tear into his metallic frame until-

“RRAAGGHHH!!”

The beast howls in pain, a metal blade piercing through his shoulder from behind, stopping him in his track. As voice whispers near his ear “Better watch your back, wouldn’t want anything bad to happen~”

Standing behind the beast, Ryuze seemed to have appeared from nowhere, blade in hand as it continued to pierce through his shoulder. This seems to only aggravate the beast further as he tries to grab the blade only to find it and the dragon has already disappeared.

He wildly looked at his surroundings, only to feel the temperature build up from above. As Ryuze is up in the air, making an interesting hand gesture with one hand and holding an open scroll with the other. “Now Burn! Ninja Art: Burst Blossom!”

The dragon points his fingers towards the beast as burst of fire in an image of a flower suddenly explodes at him. He winces from the burning sensation leaving Ryuze enough time to disappear once more.

“Don’t forget about me!~” Sife started to charge at the beast in a stampede, head first like a mad bull in a rodeo. The initial confusion caused the beast to barely grab Sife by the horns but not without taking an impactful head butt to the chest pushing him back.

“Sorry buddy but grabbing the horns isn’t such a good idea~”

With great strength Sife managed to tilt his forcing the beast’s arms to move with him and with the slight imbalance the bull grabs the beast by the arms and forces him to let go and causing him to flip and in that moment he was off the ground.

“Impact: Uppercut!”

A strong punch landed on his stomach, with more strength than the bull initially showed for the moment as it causes the beast to fly to the air, leaving him totally defenseless.

“Good now I’ll behead him right here!” Ryuze calls out higher up in the air with his wings momentarily shown. As he prepares his blade and descends down, it’s aim was for the back of the neck of the beast, inching clo-

“Please don’t kill him!” Eugene called out. Despite the danger of his proclamation, the human couldn’t stomach the idea of someone getting killed, even him. Not only that he was thinking about the fox Demihuman and thought it was only right he should have to decide what should be done with him.

That proclamation was enough to force Ryuze to stop, as if some force was keeping him from going through with it. And in that brief hesitation Ryuze noticed that the beast was already looking straight at him, as if he already saw him coming.

Before he could react, Ryuze felt a hand grab him by the head and fling him towards the ground crashing him right at Abdul.

“E-error…s-sustaining heavy damage.” The robot could only mutter as exposed wires could be seen coming out of the various joints in his body.

“well now…this is bad” Sife gave a nervous look as the beast now has his eyes on him and lands right on top of him, using his body as a cushion for his fall. The impact forces the bull to be pinned on the ground as he uses all his strength to try to get the beast off him to no avail.

Eugene needed to do something and quickly, he grabbed his mana crystal, the deck case and desperately tried to figure out how it works with no luck. “Come on work already!”

Things were looking grim, with all three familiars in a dangerous situation Eugene was the only one left that could do something, but he felt useless… and because of that he was about to lose his new companions… He’s going to be alone…

Alone…

With that word echoing in his head, everything starts to go dark around him. Everything seemed to stop around him as he found himself back in that same void from before. As a voice is heard in his head.

“Do you wish to change your fate? Be warned that your power is an unstable one if you’re not careful you may face dire consequences. Do you still wish to proceed?”

With no other choice Eugene could only nod in agreement.

“Very well, but I shall restrict your power for now until you learn to better handle its true strength.”

At that moment Eugene felt something within him compress and shrink, he didn’t know what it was.

“Now, may your hold over fate be realized!!”
