As Eugene opened his eyes, he found himself back on the platform, everything seemed to be normal. He noticed there was something in his hand, it was a black deck box with a pentagram symbol at the front, and at the center of it an orange jewel was embedded. From what he can gathered it was probably his mana crystal’s shape, what a strange look…

But if this was his mana crystal then that must mean the summoning ritual was a success!! Eugene frantically looked around, wanting to see what kind of familiar he had summoned. But suddenly, several gasps can be heard from everyone.

“H-how???”

“This is ridiculous! Why is this happening to a weirdo like him?!”

He was confused about everyone’s reaction, wondering why until he realized it might be because of my summoning ritual, did he mess up somehow? Worried over that thought Eugene frantically looked around only to find to his relief to see three figures before him.

Did that mean he summoned three familiars?! That’s amazing! Eugene was clearly excited; he didn’t think this would happen. He took a closer look at them, wanting to know what they looked like.

The first one was a muscle defined black dragon with interesting red patterns running across his arms and legs as well as covering his chest, belly, and lower chin. He had white hair with black tips with some of it covering his right eye, he had purple eyes with yellow sclera and had red horns and red spikes coming from the back of his head. His outfit consisted of a purple leather ninja-like gear that looked a bit singed at the shoulders, a headband with symbols that he couldn’t recognize and a red scarf. And had straps filled with different types of weapons on his legs and a short sword sheathed at his back. He had a serious expression on his face and had his arms crossed, Eugene couldn’t help but find him cool.

The next familiar was a Beastman of the black bull species. He had a large muscular frame and was easily the largest of the three and had a lot of fur coming out of his arms and an interesting wild west like design on his head, possibly a tattoo or a pattern on his fur. He was wearing what looked like a biker outfit with a blue leather jacket with spikes on the shoulders, cowboy-like pants with chains hanging on each hip, and a white tank top as his undershirt. Despite his large stature he was giving off a relaxed vibe and Eugene could feel he would be at ease around him, maybe even feel safe around him.

And finally, the last familiar looked rather mechanical, probably a robot from the technologically advanced world of Jiwonda. He was the smallest of the three but definitely still taller compared to Eugene and his model looked like the designs of a wolf Beastman. His body was the color of sky-blue, his eyes were like LEDs which lighted up to show expression to mimic eyes. His ears were pointing up and upon closer inspection seemed to have what looked like mics attached, probably to help him hear. He had a professional posture which reminded him of a butler but what was most striking of all was what he was wearing, it was... was…

Eugene started to panic; his arms were flailing as he instinctively tried to cover the wolf up. Even if he was a robot, this was just too embarrassing for Eugene and he tried to ignore the chatter behind him, he had to act quickly.

He inched closer to the robot’s ‘ear’ and whispered, “C-can you please go change into something more appropriate please!?”

The robot familiar was unresponsive at first, his LED eyes’ expression changing from red colored with closed eyes to that of blue colored sad expression before returning back to before and responding.

“Understood. Following command.”

The robot familiar obediently walked away as Eugene was trying to keep any more onlookers from looking. Once he was out of sight the man could only sigh in relief, his cheeks still flushing over the embarrassing ordeal. After a bit of awkward silence, the instructor began to speak up.

“W-well… seems something rare has occurred among us today. I had only heard rumors about some people who had summoned more than one familiar but for there to be three amazing… Congratulations Mr. Eugene, I wish you all good health together.”

“Th-thank you…” Eugene nervously walked away, his familiars following behind. He was too embarrassed to even look at everyone as he tried to find a corner away out of site of everyone else.

The instructor called over the next participant for the ritual, the Demihuman that Eugene spoke to earlier Alphonse. Eugene watched as he began his summoning ritual.

With nothing else to do he decided to at least get to know his new companions, With the black bull Beastman already starting the conversation bursting in a hearty laugh.

“HAHAHAHA I must say this is by far the most unique summoning I ever participated in! I can tell right away this will be most interesting!” He then began to wrap his large arm around the human. “So, you’re going to be my new boss now huh?! Name’s Sife, it’s nice to meet you, boss!!”

Sife’s positive energy was rather infectious, and Eugene found himself feeling a bit more comfortable as he greeted him back “Nice to meet you Sife, my names Eugene” He then looked towards the dragon “And what’s your name?”

As soon as Eugene’s focus was focused on him the dragon quickly kneeled in my knee while lowering his head, “Greetings milord, you can call me Ryuze, it is an honor to be assigned to serve under your will. I am ready to fulfill any task you ask of me.” He definitely was being respectful towards his summoner, though Eugene thought he was acting cool, he couldn’t help but feel a little nervous about being treated like this. Ryuze then continued “I do say, this is most unusual, to have summoned three familiars. My lord must probably hold great strength.”

Eugene was quick to deny “Oh no no, I’m really nothing special. I can barely cast the most basic spells!” It seemed the Dragonoid wanted to ask further but respected his summoner’s reluctance into delving deeper into it.

Meanwhile, it seemed the robot had finally returned, and he was dressed in what Eugene could only describe as a black butler suit, with a few gold linings and a pressed red rose in his pocket. As he approached Eugene, he straightened his stance with one arm behind his back and the other gently pressed to his chest, showing off a respectful bow towards his summoner.

“Command executed master Eugene.”

Eugene was quick to pick up on that “Wait…You know my name??”

The robot’s LED eyes changed yellow and gave a happy expression as he responded, “Why yes master Eugene, I was designed specifically tailored towards your preferences.”

“W-wait does that mean that last outfit was-”

The robot nodded in agreement as he continued, his expression changing to sadness. “Why yes even that, though your reaction was not as calculated sadly...”

Sife could only chuckle softly to himself, clearly finding the whole ordeal a little funny and Eugene could only blush and quickly changed the subject “A-anyway… what is your name?”

The robot’s eyes lit up as he responded to his summoner’s question “This unit’s serial number is A62.”

The man could only tilt his head in confusion, “A62? Seems a little hard to say, isn’t there any other way to call you?”

“As I am designated towards you, you have the authority to change my name as desired.”

Eugene pondered on this for a bit, trying to consider what kind of name would suit the robot butler “How about Abdul, if you take the A and use 6 like B and the number 2 sounds similar to dul. Does that sound like a good name?”

The lights on his eyes seem to brighten and expressed joy “Processing…… understood, this unit shall now be addressed as Abdul. Greetings master.”

After the introductions were in order the bull Beastman, Sife, wrapped his arm around Ryuze. The black dragon was clearly looking annoyed but chose not to say anything as Sife announced.

“Alright now that we’re done getting to know each other I think it’s about time we properly celebrated our summoning what do you say? ~”

The dragon gave a simple response with very little expression “Only if lord Eugene desires it. “

“Man, you’re one of those uptight people, aren’t you? ~” The Beastman laughed, which only further annoyed Ryuze, his expression only becoming more intense and focused on him.

Sensing the growing animosity between those two Eugene decided to check up on Alphonse and see how his ritual was going. Alphonse seemed to be in the middle of concentrating as mana was swelling around him, the human could only look on in amazement as more power continued to draw closer close to Alphonse and surround him. But it didn’t take long before it started to become overwhelming, and it was clear the fox Demihuman was struggling against it until.

The accumulated energy bursts! The power overwhelmed and staggered everyone present. Alphonse himself was knocked unconscious. Smoke filled the area as an imposing figured can be seen within as a howl that trembles the hearts of everyone echoed across.
