once the conversation was over, the mood improved and everyone was more comfortable with each other as compared to their reserved stances at the beginning, even Arowen was feeling better after the human interaction though he will deny any such claim.

as the people started learning more about each other the sun started setting, so  Mark and the other leaders suggested to rest for now and continue what they were doing tomorrow, then scattered into the buildings nearby to find a place for the night, Arowen was still alone till now as he didn't find anyone he could feel comfortable with for now.

Arowen decided to head towards what looked like a restaurant 5 buildings away from his original position, the reason to doing so was mostly that he was feeling extremely hungry at the moment, one should keep in mind that he didn't eat anything for a day, and he had to fight for his life and run for a long time, but that was not the main reason for his extreme hunger, powering up didn't seem to be without any price it, if you consider fighting for your life and killing; not to be enough of a price.

it was mentioned before that as one kills enemies they will absorb a small portion of there life energy/lifeforce, and after saturating your whole body aka your cells with it, it will trigger an improvement in the lifeform and thus advancing a rank

so now that he made it into the restaurant he could see that some tables already had dishes on them and after verifying he found out that they are still good, and hasn't gone bad yet so he grabbed a few things here and there and stuffed himself full, but the juice was his favorite

*sigh* 'it will really get hard to get juice after this, better enjoy while I can'

Arowen was not, scrap that Arowen is and will always be a big fan of drinks and I don't mean alcoholic drinks but juice and gaseous drinks but his favorite was juice.

*sigh* "ahh!! how I will miss you mixed juice,*gulp* *gulp* but don't worry we shall meet again *tear drop* you too pineapple juice *gulp* *gulp* " Arowen said while holding multiple bottles of different juice drinking from one type every now and then.

after having his fill Arowen was attracted to the kitchen by the smell of burning, I don't see how he didn't notice it before, must be hunger so he headed to the kitchen to discover cooking utensils with carbonized food while the stoves were still on, so he turned them off and checked the kitchen for the remaining resources, the lights were still working so he went to the fridge to see how much was left, and it was full of meat and vegetables, so he was good until the power goes off and then he will have to find other alternatives.

so now that he was done with what you could call a poor excuse of scouting he went to the employees changing room to see what he got, he remembers from his previous part-time jobs that there may be a shower and he really needs one right now, it doesn't have to be a hot shower just feeling the water raining upon his head and cleaning all the grime and filth he got from of this, I mean what happened until now, the tutorial, the zombies the whole world ending thingy

there was a corridor at the right side of the fridge door, and at the end of it was a door with the label "Men's Room" and next to it "Women's Room" so out of habit he enters the "Women's Room" hhhhh gotcha, so he went into the men's room and thankfully he found a shower in it along with a row of drawers with names on them and a long bank

at the sight of the showers Arowen just dropped his bag and other things, he didn't even bother removing his clothes as he just went under the shower and turned it on, the water was warm and as it poured down on him he just shut his eyes and slowly relaxed after 15 minutes he was totally relaxed and most of the grime and filth just went down with the water and today's events started playing out in his head like a recording, every moment of his struggles, how he went through thick and thin and finally survived...barely and after a few seconds his face shrunk like when you taste something really sour, and tears started  dropping down his face, his breathing got raged but he didn't make a sound, he just let it all fall down; his fears, anxiety, uncertainty, pain, loneliness, he just let it all fall down with his tears

it may seem as if he's broke down, but it was his way of coping with all that happened, everyone has his own way with coping, this is his way with coping with powerlessness, he needed to accept his weakness, the fact that from today and onward life will never go back to what it used too, not that he wanted it to go back,

Arowen is quite unique in that way, he is not stupid enough to think that he will thrive in this new world, he indeed acknowledges that his previous life was boring and he didn't like it but it was peaceful and he wouldn't trade it for anything, and he always dreamed to be isekaid or reincarnated or other similar extraordinary things, but it was difficult to say that he will choose those options if given the choice, but if he found himself in one of those scenarios he wouldn't choose to go back either, after all, it is a whole new life with a lot more potential he could grow to be so powerful that with just the flick of a finger the whole universe would crumble, and that is a big COULD I know, but that's how he is, now that the dice is already thrown there is no going back and he understands that and neither does he wish to go back.

so now that we have taken a glimpse at our protagonists conflicting inner thoughts, we go back to what is happening right now

"FUCK!!" he just noticed that he didn't remove his clothes before going into the shower

" Just fucking great!"

hopefully his jacket, pants, and shoes were real military stuff and thus waterproof so he just hunged them and in no time they will dry or manually dry them with a towel, doesn't matter anyway for now, but the other stuff he was wearing were normal clothes so they will take time to dry.

so after giving his clothes a little rub to get the smell of rot way, which partially worked he hang them to dry, and went into the shower once more to continue relaxing and masturbate a little to get some steam out hehehehe.
