as Arowen chose to get a skill a new screen showed
Skill randomizer...
a few seconds later the skill randomizer was done selecting the reward for our hero and it was like this
Internal Compound(Growth) the user of the skill is able to manipulate the chemicals in his body to create new chemicals, fluids and more, the only limit is the users understanding and imagination
the skill was an extremely rare skill to get and that is not about its grade, it was a growth type skill so it didn't have a grading the power depends on the user's ability to bring out its true potential, growth type skills are not a common thing to see, it could be considered valuable or trash depending on how it is used and unlike the graded skill few of them could be taught, even transcendent skills could be learned that is why they are graded as for growth type skills, they are either earned through special circumstances, enlightenment or innate,
the most important factor is that they are not limited by a grade so they could grow indefinitely with the user. if take an example though it is extreme; considered that Arowen is still at the start of his journey, if we do a statistical study about the number of transcendent creatures that possess a transcendent skill we will find that they are about 60% and that is considered that there are millions of such creatures across the universe, even more so 90% of those skills are self-created and on the low spectrum of the power scale, so we could conclude that growth type skills are gems in the raw and it is upon the bearer to sculpt them into a true treasure
i digress so let's go back to what the skill really does, Internal Compound is a very good skill as even among other growth skills, it gives the user the ability to analyze, destroy the chemicals to there base form be it protein, minerals vitamins, and other such compounds and then create/rearrange them into something new, now the possibilities of such a skill are endless he could even make new organs with enough power and skill but solid matter is harder to produce and create as it will need more resources compared to fluid or gaseous matter, so in conclusion, it could be counted as biomancing, the skill also comes with a data bank to store templates and an inner sight but not in the literal sense of the word as it is intuition-based
Unlawfully taken from Royal Road, this story should be reported if seen on Amazon.
so returning to reality, after Arowen got his skill a count down started and as he was contemplating his new skill and what it entails it was close to ending so he got out of his inner thoughts and prepared to leave

and then he disappeared from the spot with all his belongings and still smelling of rotting corpses and the space where he was started collapsing on it own until it was no more

next thing he knows Arowen found himself in an open space inside city surrounded by strangers of different ethnicities and speaking different languages confused about there whereabouts, well at least that's what he got from the few languages he understood
"bla bla"
"do any of you know what's going on"(English stranger) 'that's a fking dumb question'(Arowen)
"est-ce que vous ou nous somme"(french stranger) he was asking if anybody had an idea where they were
'now this is a smart thing to ask'(Arowen)
anyway, the chaos continued for a few minutes as people who understood each other gathered together, this is human nature after all, they seek refuge in familiarity and with the language barrier down they could cooperate well, there was around 100 people and they quickly separated into groups, so what about Arowen which group did he chose?
you see Arowen is a friendly and sociable guy, it's just that he has a bit of a difficulty at breaking the ice at the first time, afterward, he gets by just fine, but that is not the reason why he didn't join a group, the main reason is that he knows that human nature is not simple and he will not trust a couple of strangers with his back especially in such a time where society will most probably collapse and the social order decays, the laws of the old world gone and new world order will emerge and if his novel knowledge holds true then an era of warlords is on the brink of starting where might make right, it may be foolish to rely on novels to judge the situation but he knows that they the representation of the inner thoughts of the authors and so they may hold certain truths hidden between the lines
Arowen was not the only loner around as there were more people who chose to remain solo and let's not forget that all the people present around the world right now have gone through an experience that is quite similar to his, and that could change a person fundamentally and the change is not necessarily good, Arowen didn't plan to remain alone for long though he just needs to find a moderately strong group that is not too big,
'i can not survive alone for long in this new world, I just fought a bunch of zombies, who knows what else is out there better be prudent that to regret it later, what was that quote again "there is no medicine for regret" right? '
anyway, after the groups organized there was a standstill until a guy took the lead and addressed the crowd, from his accent he seems to be American, way to go America always in the lead trying to take control of everything at every turn
