Another World and I'm still rich?
Chapter 40. Names and Plans.

Chapter 40. Names and Plans.

After a very 'peaceful' sleep, I decide to go to outside for a little bit of fresh air.

"Still dark, huh... But I can't sleep for some reason. Oh well... Better think of this name for the company." I say quielty as I sit down and look at the stars.

(Hmm... Wasn't there some sort of god of protection and war in one of my games? I think... Egyptian? Was it? What was the name... Come on brain think!)

As I sit there thinking, I notice movement in the house and I see that Dominic himself can't rest well either.

I keep thinking as to what the name of such a god is until It comes to my head.

"Bast! The Egyptian Goddess of War and Protection! Finally remembered it..." As I sigh and take a look at the stars once more.

(Bast Trading Union has a nice ring to it... I doubt there's a god or goddess named Bast in this world, hopefully there isn't. But that's going to be the Union name since the Union of our companies still doesn't have a proper one.

The name for my company though... Eh, I'll just take something from the Solar System of my home... Hmm... Europa? Yeah, Europa sounds good doesn't it? Europa Trade Corporation which is a member of the Bast Trading Union. That, for some reason, actually sounds kind of cool.)

I get up from the soft grass and stretch my body as I notice the sun is coming up.

"How long have I been sitting here for?" I ask myself, expecting not to get an answer.

"About three hours." Suddenly, I get an answer and then I remember Dominic was also walking around.

I look behind myself and actually see Dominic laying down on the grass a little bit away from me.

"Couldn't sleep?" I ask Dominic and he just nods.

You might be reading a stolen copy. Visit Royal Road for the authentic version.

"Can't really sleep when you know the world is turning towards total war." After he finishes that sentence, I notice more and more people walking in the house.

We both look at the amount of people and then look back to the amazing sunrise.

"Seems they can't rest well either. Colin, remember what I told you about the nation? Well... The fun part is... My city is the closest to it in the entire Empire, so... We are going to take most of the attack when they get here since the small nations in their path are not going to even hinder them." Dominic basically explains to me why he can't sleep.

I just stand there, looking at the sunrise before answering.

"I better get to my company then. You know why." I say and then Dominic nods and I start walking towards the HQ.

When I get there, I notice Bunvers arriving at the same time.

"Headmaster! I am glad to see you this early in the day. Have you decided on the name of the company?" Bunvers immediatly asks.

"Indeed. Europa Trade Corporation. That's going to be the name of my company. I also decided the name of our little Union, Bunvers. We'll call it Bast Trading Union. I just need you to get those two notices out to everybody. Can you handle it, Bunvers?" I look at him.

"Of course! It is a small matter! I shall get to it now!" He runs off as fast as he can and I sit down inside my office in the HQ, on the 12'th floor.

I look out the window and admire the view.

An hour or so later, Bunvers arrives in my office.

"The notices have been put up and the name of the company has been engraved above the doors. What shall we do now?" Bunvers asks and sits down after I point towards the sofa.

"I'd like it if we could expand our little Union to every city possible as fast as possible. We don't need proper second HQ's in there, just a presence big enough to affect the entire city.

How fast do you think we can do that, Bunvers?" I ask and he starts thinking.

"A week at most to get to the furthest neighboring city if we go at full speed with escorts. I'm including the time needed to build as well. So, in a week we should have a presence in all our neighboring cities. Is that all right, Headmaster?" Bunvers looks at me.

"That is more than all right. You may go on with this plan but involve the others as well. It's not a proper trading union if only two of us keep it alive. I give you full control over the expansion plan for now but give me reports if you can." I answer and Bunvers stands up and bows.

"I am gladdened by your decision!" Bunvers stops bowing and immediatly walks out of my office.

(At least he listens and actually follows my orders. I think he's too afraid or admires me too much to do something else. Well, as long as they don't decide to get too full of themselves I'm fine with them.)
