“Levian!” Mike shouted in anger. “You bastard!” He pointed at Levian with his sword.

“Ah, my old friend. I knew you would come.” Levian replied. “I’m glad that you have made it here to watch the end of Earth.”

“I’m not your old friend.” Mike snarled. “You killed Dairen!”

“Did I?” Levian looked over to Dairen. “It seems I didn’t. He’s standing over there, isn’t he?”

“You know what you did.” Mike retorted back harshly.

Levian shrugged his shoulders, not really caring if he killed Dairen or not. Instead, he cast his gaze back at the destruction of the city.

A glimmer of anger was boiling in Levian. Everyone could feel it, but Levian chose to ignore it.

“Why are you doing this?!” Snow asked. She didn’t understand why he had to destroy Earth to achieve what he wanted.

“I told you, Snow. If Earth stands, your world dies. That is how this game will end.” Levian pointed out, “I have lived another life, and I saw the end. The Demon King in the previous life had destroyed your world and spared Earth in exchange for being ruled by the Demon King. We fought endlessly until there were no more lives in this world as I was the last one to be alive. The demon king then went out to many other worlds and destroyed more and more, using the base of the world of Earth as they pillaged the world that he destroyed.”

“And you can’t change the end?” Snow asked, “Don’t you think that you can change all this? You’re a Demon King!”

“Yes, I am. This is my decision.”

“You can stop this completely by not choosing to go this route.”

Levian shook his head. “You either kill me here or see the end of this world. So this is my fate as a Demon King. The law of this game and the catalyst for a change. And I choose the route to see the end of a world to continue allowing my friends to live. This is my route since the beginning of my second life, not a sorrowful existence of a Hero, who couldn't save anything.”

Dark energy swirled around Levian. The demonic appearance that he had grown to a goliath size monster. The fire burned around him as it circled Mike, Dairen, and Snow.

“So, what is your decision, Snow?” Levian asked. “You can go back now to your home and never have to worry about what’s going to happen next, saving your planet. While I finish this game. Your home will live, while mine will die. The Players will live in their second home, allowing peace to be back in this world.”

“This is still genocide!”

“A price to pay for a chance of survival.” Levian’s voice became dark and heavy. His eyes turned black with glowing red pupils.

“I choose to save both worlds," said Snow.

“The same answer as I remembered.” Levian smiled. “Show me, Snow, if your resolve is better than mine!”

A flame of black and red shot up into the air.

The heat licked Snow’s body, causing her to sweat. Unfortunately, her white armor, which usually had heat resistance, couldn't deter from such a high level of fire magic, making her sweat.

Snow knew that the longer this persisted, the higher the chance of failure and pain.

“Holy Redemption!” Snow pulled light magic from the air and sent magical energy to both Mike and Dairen. Both of them felt a powerful surge of magic in their body. Their magic and physical strength tripled in strength.

Magic of light and pervasive darkness clashed heavily upon each other. It kicked and screamed and fought vigorously to overpower the other.

Mike jumped in, screaming at the top of his lungs. Then, swinging his electric blade as both clashed. They were fast and furious, trying to usurp the other.

The blade upon claws was fast and difficult to follow.

Detaching away from each other, Mike shouted, “Electric Storm!”

A flurry of electric storms thundered across the area. It licked and spat out dangerous electric struck from the sky and down onto the ground. Every time lightning struck, a powerful rumble of thunder clapped a few seconds behind.

It was a flurry of storms of light show for anyone who was watching from afar. Dairen threw in his own magical arrows twisted in his own energy and darkness. Swarms of undead popped out of his shadows, filling up the surrounding.

Even the three generals: the dragon, phoenix, and the tiger, were summoned to assist.

A cacophony of electricity, dark magic, and a back and forth battle between a group of powerful magic was thrown back and forth like a seesaw.

The dragon and the phoenix spat fire at Levian while the tiger darted in to take out Levian. Levian effortlessly fought back even with the constant barrage, getting them frustrated.

“Is this all you got?!” Levian chuckled, an evil grin erupted on his lips. “This is child’s play.”

With a swoop of his claws, he let out a vicious cry. Then, a wave of darkness pounded outward in powerful waves. All three of the dragon, phoenix, and the tiger was utterly destroyed.

Snow quickly threw up a light barrier around Mike, Dairen, and herself. Trying to keep the flood of evil magic from overcoming their body and mind, berated by the evil energy that seemed to want to devour her body, mind, and soul.

The constant push to invade her mind was strong.

It wasn’t a quick invasion of the mind but a slow creeping thought over time. The more Levian successfully kept pushing back, the louder the thoughts came with ugly waves. Pushing back mentally wasn’t easy.

Negative emotions swirled in a cacophony of a mess, throbbing her head. Ugly phrases of anger, loss, and even self-doubt chanted in her mind.

Snow noticed the pervasive words that kept barraging her mind. Then, quickly, calming down her thoughts, she commanded, “Purge!”

Awash of light drizzled down on her own body.

The darkness that constantly berated her mind became quieter and quieter until the only thing that she could hear was only her breathing. Her eyes glowed brightly gold as the light energy around her became a fierce power of commitment of will.

Levian noticed the shift in Snow’s demeanor. The slow chant of a curse that he was throwing out to the group without noticing dispelled.

“It seems I underestimated you.” Levian breath was low.

Levian’s energy fluctuated.

Snow took this chance.

She bolted forward. Her sword swung in a beautiful crescent arch. Levian barely dodged out of the way.

“Division of the Sun!” Small orbs appeared around her, circling around her like a small sun. Finally, it spat out a beam of light.

Explosions of lights followed everywhere Levian moved. An ugly pothole of destruction was left behind, leaving nothing but destruction.

Just when Levian thought he dodged out of all of Snow’s magical ray of light, a powerful blow hit him in the back.

Levian stumbled forward. An ugly tear was present on his shoulder. Blood seeped out, leaving a throbbing pain. He snapped back, looking over his shoulder. He noticed that Dairen bow was aimed at him.

With a low growl, Levian glared at Dairen. Anger spiking that he was hit by the one person that he wished was dead.

A blast of dark energy ball was sent out toward Dairen.

Dairen disappeared, dodging the energy ball that Levian had sent.

Mike attacked Levian from the right.

Levian blocked Mike’s attack. His barrage was stalled. Out of the corner of his eyes, Mike moved his head just in time as an ugly cut slashed to his head. A claw-like mark was left over his right eye, bleeding. His eyes were half-closed, unable to see through.

“I would pay attention,” Mike smirked, even though he was bleeding.

Levian growled. He pushed back, followed by a sidekick. His kick landed, causing Mike to stumble back. His sword swung but missed.

Snow pulled out her Black Box. It landed on the ground with a thud. Then, with a hiss, air escaped and opened. The swords that were left glimmered in the light.

Reaching in, she pulled out one-by-one, throwing them into the air as they landed in different locations.

Some landed in a nearby building, others were spread out and into the ground, and the last weapon she had was Black Widow in her hand. Dripping with poison as it excitedly waited to stick its cold blade in its prey.

Snow could feel the energy from all her swords resonating with her, telling her they wanted to be used in this fight. She didn’t ignore the call.

From the first step, Snow disappeared.

A blur of light struck into Levian’s side.

Hissing the sound of poison licked Levian’s side, he stumbled, feeling an ugly pain. His claws lashed out, causing Snow to lose grip on Black Widow. She spun, kicking Leivan in the chest. Levian was pushed back. This allowed her to move out, heading to her nearest sword: Eye of the Horus, sticking out from the ground.

With a grunt, she pulled. It hoisted over her shoulders. Even though it was a bit heavy, she was able to swing it. One slash, a powerful wind spat out, cutting into the ground.

Levian gulped. The slash almost cut him in two as it left a deep indentation in the ground. However, he was an inch away as it missed.

Snow didn’t stop.

She swung. The ground grumbled, and the wind around them violently shook.

This time Levian couldn’t escape the oncoming wind. The energy smashed into his body, Levian was thrown into the air and flew backward. He crashed into the building.
