“Hum~ hum, hum, hum~”
Deep in the Argen Hollow Forest.
A white-haired young girl could be seen skipping about happily, followed by five men. The only similarity that the girl had with the men was their dirty clothes.
Leader—given name, Satos. He is currently recalling the previous events that had transpired over the course of the previous two days.
After leaving the clearing and walking for three hours straight, Leader Satos discovered a discrepancy.
That was, after coming back from the clearing, their journey had been too quiet. Safe. He clearly remembered that, previously, when they were travelling through the forest, various beasts came to attack them at every corner.
However, he had been in the business for far too long. Despite nothing happening, he still did not dare to leave his guard down. And neither did his other comrades. They took turns in keeping a vigilant eye on their surroundings—two on look-out and two carrying the injured.
There was also another thing.
Ever since leaving that clearing, they had been too lucky—randomly finding piles of fruits at resting points, beasts that they had accidentally met along the way would turn their backs and walk away, as if they did not notice them. And the most important thing was: the white-haired little girl never seemed to have the need to eat nor use the toilet. Even after two days of travelling through the forest without cleaning themselves, she still seemed to be as clean as ever.
It was as if she… wasn’t human.
Hahahaha.
No way?
Actually, there was little reason for Satos to not believe that Fairy was not human. After all, although humans were the dominant species in their world, other races do exist, though in the minorities. It was just that… seeing another species in their particular continent was quite rare, especially with the ‘human-superiority’ countries surrounding the forest.

Sigh—
Leader Satos snapped out of his thought at the sound of his comrade’s sigh. He turned to look at his comrade questioningly.
This comrade—whom shall be named as Hunter A—was silently lamenting at the fact that the angelic young girl who was happily skipping in front of him was still barefooted.
The path was bumpy and unnatural as they were inside a forest that was not usually frequented by people, so he was worried that she might hurt her dainty little feet, and so he had tried coaxing her into at least wrapping her feet with some cloth, but the girl had adamantly shook her head, showing her refusal.
However.
The more he observed her, the more he became perplexed.
She was clearly not wearing any shoes, yet her feet was not dirty at all. Even the tiny pebbles and snaring roots did not seem to deter her movements. She walked as if she was strolling through a park.
If one was to look closer, it would be obvious that Fairy’s feet was actually not touching the ground. Although the distance was so minimal that one could not see it at first glance, it was still obvious that she was not actually touching the ground. It was as if she was walking with invisible shoes.
And so, with tacit understanding among the party members, they resolved to not mention the girl’s peculiarity.
