Flags Are Built Through the Efforts of the Cannon Fodder (1)

The Rosenbell territory, Lindel Kingdom.

In the fief lord’s mansion, a baby’s cry could be heard in the master bedroom.

The second child of the Rosenbell family has safely arrived.

“?!”

The tired-looking woman on the bed was panting slightly. “What’s wrong—is there something wrong with my baby?” The woman looked worriedly at the midwife’s complicated expression.

The midwife paused for a moment, “Congratulations, madam. It’s a girl,” she said. The woman knew something was wrong with the midwife’s expression, “but?”

The midwife resolved her courage, “but,” she started, “I fear the young lady is a little… different.” Without waiting for a reply, she turned the baby swaddled in blue cloth over to the madam.

The waiting maids beside the madam gave a startled gasp—the recently born young lady, had a tuft of snowy white hair on her head! It was inconceivable; after all, the madam had lovely golden blond locks while the master had brown hair.

“Perhaps, her hair might darken over time,” the midwife said, hoping to reassure the madam.

A complex expression passed by the madam’s face, “It doesn’t matter, even if she had any sort of disability, I would still love her all the same,” the madam closed her eyes. When she opened them, a gentle and loving expression appeared as she held out her arms to receive her baby.

“Welcome to the world, Leila.” A happy smile surfaced on her face, and all the maids also revealed relieved expressions. That’s right, so what if the young lady had white hair? Given how pretty the madam and how handsome the master is, the young lady will surely grow up to be beautiful to the point where her hair colour would not matter!
