The morning came, and it's been three days since I was ushered into this world. Fully rejuvenated after a good night's sleep and some plant tasting refreshing water, while breakfast would have been ideal, we'll get into that later.
"One, two, one, two. Streching done, time to grab some rocks and look for my breakfast, or my breakfast will find me. Hue! Hue! "
Lokie picked up two large rocks and carried them with him, walking forward as he was preparing to hunt for his breakfast.
After around 30 minutes of walking, Lokie finally heard some activity ahead of him, bending down, slowly and quietly, sneaking up on the ruckus he had just heard.
"What the hell is that?" Lokie wondered as he watched the creature from a distance of around 800 meters while hiding behind the bush.
The creature was roughly 23–26 meters long and stood at 1.5–2 meters tall, give or take. Bone spikes protrude from the beast's back, resembling those of a porcupine from his previous world, but the creature is definitely not as cute as the porcupine. It has black and brown stripes, which can be observed from its fur, and it has three pairs of paws, two hind legs, and one pair of forelegs. I don't have any clear image of its face, and I'm not interested in finding out.
"Scary and creepy, definitely not on my breakfast list."
The creature was scratching the large tree with his claws, and as far as I could tell, I definitely saw the amount of wood being chipped away from the tree bark each time that creature clawed it.
"What a huge bitch! Well, it's time to get the crap out of here! "
Lokie slowly and quietly crawled backwards, away from the creature; he didn't even stand up until he was already far away, afraid that if he stood up, the creature would be there staring at him.
"Ok! Lokie, you've already been crawling for 5 minutes now; another 5 minutes won't hurt. Just be patient now. "
Lokie continued to crawl, and when he thought he'd gotten as far as he could, he quickly stood up and walked in the opposite direction.
"Shit, this forest is dangerous as fuck. The fact that I didn't run across any of those creatures when I got here was certainly lucky. Luck? Or was it just a coincidence? "
Lokie kept walking forward, albeit slowly, because he just seen the kind of predators that roamed the forest; he remained vigilant, and just as he had expected, he heard another commotion ahead of him; he had no idea what it was, and it made a different sound than the last creature he had just seen. He crept slowly and quietly crawled towards the noise, making sure he was completely hidden from any unexpected encounter.
After a few seconds of crawling closely, Lokie finally had a clear glimpse of the creature that was making the comottion. This time, the creature was eating the leaves from the fallen tree. That's right, this creature pushed the tree sideways with its massive weight, bending it sideways. There were signs of tree bark breaking, almost splitting in half, could be seen.
As Lokie stares at the creature and observes this time, he is mesmerized by the creature's unique charm. Not only was the creature taller than the previous black and brown furry creature he had seen. It was likewise larger, but this time the creature only had two pairs of paws, or legs. The creature has no fur, only dried hard skin similar to that of a rhino, and its face resembles that of a capybara, only the face.
"Another huge bitch! Damn everything in this forest is huge, or am I just small!"
*Stretches pants*
"It's big, hue hue hue!"
Lokie marveled and kept observing the creature. Unbeknownst to him, an arm-size hornet-like bee creature landed next to him, namely in the bushes next to him. Lokie couldn't help but stare when he heard a buzzing sound close to him.
*bzzz* *bzz*
"OuuuH!"
Shocked and terrified by the bee creature he had just seen, Lokie took a deep breath, froze on the spot, didn't emit a sound, and just directly froze. Lokie froze, while beads of sweat slowly emerged from his forehead and sweat dripped from his chin, still staring at the creature who was clearly engrossed in its bee stuff.
Some time had passed, and the bee-like creature ignored Lokie and eventually left.
"Bzzz! Bzzz! Bzzz!"(Get a job, you unemployed basement troll)
Lokie had a tingling feeling that he was being insulted, but he didn't take the matter too seriously.
Lokie slowly crawled away from the capybara-like creature, but this time he didn't go in its opposite direction as he would run into the three-paired-legged beast, instead opting to go around the capybara-like beast and proceed forward.
"Sigh!, today sure is hectic. Are large beasts beginning to appear? Or have the creatures in the forest decided to hold a surprise party for me? That would explain why I hadn't seen them or why they hadn't found me till now. "
Lokie had no idea, but at the exact time he was transported to Nouveld World, a phenomenon occurred around the world, leading mindless beasts to intuitively feel threatened and hide danger. Sentient beings were exceptions, of course, and even if some of them possessed class trees that could understand or control beasts, they'd never find out because the creature considered it an instinctive danger.
As Lokie continued to roam the forest in search of the right prey, he came across a lot of bizarre creatures. He hid when he saw larger creatures and kept his distance from small creatures that would definitely not be included on his breakfast list. It didn't take long until Lokie finally found the right prey, he thinks.
"What an adorable little rabbit!"
"Unfortunately for you, you're made of meat, and I'm starving!"
The bunny-like creature drew Lokie's attention. The creature's physique is almost similar to those of rabbits on Earth. It doesn't have fluffy long ears, either; instead the a round ear, similar to a hippo's, and a single antenna with a huge oblong-like shape at the edge of the antenna. The creature's antenna is located at the center of its forehead.
What makes the creature so bizarre is that it lacks eyes. It was a little larger than the rodent he had just fought, so Lokie had a little bit of confidence in dealing with it, but he still took cautious around it and didn't dare underestimate it.
The bunny-like creature was eating some sort of moss from the enormous roots of this massive tree.

Lokie was aware that slowly creeping behind the beast would never work as well as throwing and hitting it with a rock. Well, he didn't even bother thinking about it, so he tried to devise a new plan. He observed the bunny's position and found out that in front of the bunny was a massive tree and it was completely blocking its path of escape in front of it, and Lokie was hiding behind the creature, so Lokie came up with a plan. He wasn't sure if it would work, but he thought it was worth a try.
Lokie positioned himself on the southeast side of the bunny. Holding the rock in his hand, he decided to toss the rock at the bush on the west side. He made sure that his side didn't create any commotion. As the rock landed and hit the bush, causing a sound, the beast turned its body towards the location where the rock landed; although the beast didn't run towards his side as he expected, he didn't dare to move, and continued to observe the beast.
After a few seconds had passed and the BugsBunny hadn't seen any other movements, so it went back to its usual business, Lokie took advantage of the situation once more, this time throwing two rocks into the bushes, thoroughly alerting and terrifying the beast, causing it to hop its way towards Lokie.
Lokie anticipated its abrupt action and decided to intercept the beast by tackling it with his body. He didn't bother to hit the beast with rocks because he knew it would be ineffective. Although the beast was agile, Lokie's body was larger. Using his large body and momentum, he managed to grab and catch the beast, then choke-lock the beast. Even if it wasn't a perfect choke-lock, as long as he manages to grab the beast, then shit's in the bag for him already.
As Lokie struggled to choke the beast, since he definitely had no idea what he was doing, it gave the beast breathing space and managed to retaliate, using its hind legs to try and scratch his arms. At the same time, a sudden flash was clearly seen by Lokie from the beast's antenna, exposing him to the flash for 0.5 seconds; it was swift and fast, just like a flash from the camera. People with sensitive eyes will squint their eyes for a second. Though it was only a fraction of a second, it was enough for the beast. That's right, it was just enough to give the beast a chance to flee.
Lokie was about to completely subdue the beast when he suddenly heard a commotion from the bushes. Out of habit, Lokie turned his head and checked the noise. Then Lokie experienced the most terrifying experience of his life.
The porcupine creature with a tiger's face was observed glaring at him, and poised to pounce.
Lokie was shocked and scared shitless, but the porcupine creature wouldn't care what he was currently feeling and decided to pounce on Lokie.
Out of reflex and instinct, he yeeted the rabbit-like beast towards the porcupine beast and rolled down the other side, but Lokie's expectations failed him. The porcupine beast ignored the rabbit-like beast and instead chased after Lokie.
"Arhhhh!!!"
Loki screamed like a bitch on a high note, but the voice came from an ugly green guy. His arms were rising to cover his face from what was to come next. But, just as the beast was about to attack Lokie, the beast suddenly passed him, like a visual projectile from the science fiction movies he had seen back on Earth.
Lokie finally came to his senses after being shocked.
"Illusion! That Bugs Bunny has the ability to create illusions! Fucker got me good. No wonder I didn't hear anything from the porcupine beast; the bush noise I heard was most likely the sound of the rocks I threw when they hit the bushes. Good one! And as expected, that little fucker is long gone. "
Lokie was surprised and amazed by the bunny-like creature's abilities.
