Night time.
After gaining Orkee's loyalty, the newly spawned ork. We didn't continue building the 2nd Orkling hut; I called it a day because my mental state wasn't in its right condition. I still have to hunt some prey now that another ork has joined the horde; I'm not sure if three orks could be considered a horde, but anyways.
*Host Horde*
Chieftain Horde: Lokie
Horde Bonus: None
Horde: 2
Horde Morale: 29%
Horde Status: The Horde wonders if they should call this Horde a Horde. Penalty: Low Morale
Well, that's a new one, Horde Status. True, how can you even call this horde a horde with only three orks in it?
So how does low morale affect my horde? Will they turn against me or refuse to follow my command?
I've played some games that have morale systems before, and in those games, low morale would make the troops retreat or flee after taking a few hits; other games would slowly reduce your troops' HP, in a sense, causing desertion.
Would my horde challenge my authority once the morale goes any lower?
Knowing how violent and simple-minded the orks are, it may possibly happen. Well, there is nothing I can do at the moment. I mean, I could spend vital energy to spawn more orklings, but I have a feeling that vital energy is something that I should not recklessly consume; there might be more to it; after all, the system is using it as a medium to grant its system effect on my buildings.
"Orkaa and Orkee, huh, I need to finish the huts tomorrow. The faster I construct the huts, the more I can focus my attention on something else. I hate doing a lot of tasks at the same time."
"Pa! Pa! Pa! Pa! Hya!"
"Damn it, ORKAA! Stop masturbating and go to sleep already; you can beat that tree tomorrow!"
+5 Orkling Brute proficiency
"Oh right, class proficiency, how does this work? I tried focusing on it in my mind, but it only shows the description of the class and nothing else. I also checked my stats, skills, and race trait, and nothing changed even with proficiency points. Does the system priority have something to do with this; after all, I was classified as F on priority lists?"
As I thought about a lot of stuff, I slowly dozed off and fell asleep.
"Now is now; tomorrow is tomorrow."
Morning.
Woke and left the hut, and I came out I was greeted by Orkaa's excited face meanwhile Orkee's face is still purple. I think Orkee is also showing an excited face but due to his bruises he can only look.
I woke and left the hut, and when I came out, I was greeted by Orkaa's excited face, while Orkee's face is still purple. I think Orkee is also showing an excited face, but due to his bruises, he can only look.
"Orkaa, go grab some wood we can use as fire, and bring those preys from yesterday."
"Guhuk!"
Orkaa ran and gathered all the things he was asked; Orkee, on the other hand, just stood at the stop; he seems to be expecting something.
"Ha! Orkee, come with me. You see this log? well, I want you to go to that pile of logs near my hut and get all the logs with the same size as this and place them near that pit over there. The pit where you broke the logs from yesterday, you understand me?"
"Ahguk!"
"I guess that's a yes; now move along."
Orkee went and did what I asked him to do; well, I guess I'll start the fire.
1 hour and 32 minutes later.
"Finally, FIRE!"
We didn't have a pan, so we just impaled the meat and placed it near the fire. Since we have no space, we just left it there to cook.
While waiting for the food to cook, I called Orkaa and Orkee for some sparring. After thinking for the whole night, I came up with a plan. Why don't I train with these orks.
Yes, train with them; although I just beat them single-handedly, it was all thanks to my class skills that I could overpower them. Basically, all those brawls that just happened until now were just me hitting them hard enough that they didn't have the opportunity to strike back.
So I organized a sparring. First, I paired Orkaa and Orkee. I made them fight one another, first, because I had no idea how orks really fight and, second, what to expect if they were given the chance to fight back instead of being overwhelmed.
Stolen from Royal Road, this story should be reported if encountered on Amazon.
"Alright, Orkee, I know your face is still fucked, so, Orkaa, I am giving you a minute to beat his face. Once the time is up or I make the call, you should stop and disengage right away, or else both of you will receive my concerned fist. GOT IT?"
"Gruhk!"
"Aghuk!"
The moment I gave the signal, Orkaa and Orkee sent their right hooks flying, aiming at each other's faces.
"Bam!"
Orkaa got hit in the face but didn't even flinch. Orkee, on the other hand, staggered a little, which was expected given how fucked up Orkee's face was, but it didn't stop Orkee from launching a left hook. Orkaa also followed suit and launched his left hook.
Both of them traded hits for at least four rounds until something unexpected happened. Orkee suddenly tried to dodge Orkaa's right hook at the last moment, catching Orkaa off guard.
Due to Orkaa launching a wide right hook and missing, his left defense was wide open. Well, it's not like they tried to defend each other's blows anyway, and all this time both of them were keen on taking hits. It all changed when Orkee decided to use his two remaining brain cells and dodged that right hook.
Taking the opportunity and enjoying the thrill of hitting someone, Orkee sent out his strongest right uppercut.
"ARGUH!"
Orkee couldn't contain himself in that moment and released a war cry.
"BANG!"
The upper cut connected to Orkaa was pushed up, and that upper cut sent Orkaa 2 inches off the ground from the feet. When Orkaa landed, Orkee didn't waste any seconds and sent his left hook.
"BANG"
Although Orkaa doesn't have heavy bruises compared to Orkee, his eminent defeat would be set in stone if Orkee's fist continued to land blow after blow.
Orkaa endured the pain, and even though Orkee kept launching his punches, Orkaa kept launching his attacks too, despite the current predicament.
Orkaa tried to dodge Orkee's attacks, but Orkee's attacks were at such a weird angle that an unexperienced Orkaa would have a hard time dodging them.
As I observed the sparring, I noticed Orkee has a keen sense for sensing where those punches would land; it seems like Orkee can predict what Orkaa's next move would be, giving Okree time to prepare to dodge that attack at the same time as preparing to counter attack. Sometimes Orkee would step back, sideways, and even forward, ruining Orkaa's tempo.
Orkaa was clearly in a pinch; from the looks of it, he is about to lose. But the same as Orkee awhile back, he keeps holding and struggling, and even though he was in a disadvantageous situation, Orkaa managed to come up with his own way of dealing with Orkee.
"PAK!"
Orkee launched his right hook. Unexpectedly, Orkaa didn't dodge this time; instead, he raised his left hand and caught the hook. With Orkee's hands being held by Orkaa, his dodging capabilities were reduced, resulting in Orkaa successfully landing his right punch time and time again while Orkee, with his poor attempt to recover his situation and try to dodge those attacks, was releasing fewer attacks than usual.
"Oh, nice recovery! Anyway, I better stop this, or Orkee might turn into a new species if the fight goes on."
"STOP!"
The moment I made my call, both of them abruptly stopped what they were doing, but of course, being in the heat of battle, Orkaa didn't forget to launch a cheap trick and hit Orkee again after my call.

"What did I say about not following my command?"
"GUUUH!"
Orkaa quickly stood up and stood still with a straight face. Orkee was standing next to me, touching his face from time to time while flinching in pain.
"Snorts!"
"Go take a rest; food will be ready in any minute now."
Although it looked like I was mad, it was nothing more than an act, and from the sparring between those two, I learned a lot.
For example, Orkee despite his bruises and the continued damage he received, Orkee's attacks still sounded heavy, while Orkaa ignored his defenses and still managed to stand still and fight even after taking all those heavy punches from Orkee and, at the same time, launching his own heavy punches.
These orks, they are a species that would definitely excel in close combat; once these guys learn how to use cold weapons, the damage would be devastating. Even if they were to suffer some injuries, the power of their strike would never decrease. But would these be enough? Time will tell.
"Hey you guys, food's ready, let's eat."
Orkaa, as always, ate his food with relish.
Orkee, on the other hand, would flinch from time to time as he chewed his food, but it didn't stop him from devouring the bones.
"Take it easy, bois; the water is over there. Once you're done, we're going to finish the hut today."
After a while of eating and resting, we began our work. So I dug the soil where to place the logs again.
"Orkaa, hold this, same as yesterday, only with one hand, and don't hold it too hard."
I proceed to meticulously cover the log with rocks and soil.
"OK, Orkee, go get me another log. Orkaa, stay. Keep holding on to the log."
"Orkaa, hold these logs together; don't hold them too hard; that's it; ok, now stand still."
I meticulously covered it with rocks and soil.
"Orkee, go get me another one. Orkaa, let go of those logs. Be careful now."
And with that repetition and systematic order, we managed to install 18 logs, three times faster than yesterday, but we had to stop for our mandatory masturbation break.
I sent Orkaa to find his own corner (tree) and do it there, while I went and showed Orkee how to do it.
"Hard isn't it, now beat it."
After the break, we proceed to continue our work. After repeated efforts, it didn't take long for the hut to be built. This hut's quality is a lot better than mine and the first hut; this hut has more space inside and has sturdier walls.
I went and grabbed a stick and stabbed my palm with the sharp tip.
"PUCHOK!"
"GOH!"
"AOH!"
Blood slowly dripped down; the moment I injured my palm, Orkaa and Orkee had an unusual reaction. Their yellow eyes glowed, and the atmosphere seemed tense all of a sudden.
"What's wrong with you dorks?"
The moment they both heard my voice, they snapped out of it and returned to their goofy faces.
I squeezed my hand as the blood continued to drop.

"No"
Once I was done building the 2nd Orkling hut, we left the hut.
"Crack!"
"Huh?"
In front of us is a newly spawned ork in the process of attempting to break the log in half.
"Quick, Orkaa, Orkee, hold his hands!"
"GHOO!"
"AGGGG!"
As Orkaa and Orkee held the ork's hand. Both were grinning from tooth to tooth.
"KUH?"
The ork has a confused look plastered on his face.
