In the middle of the forest, a group of orks were seen moving around, trying to incircle a large boar. The boar was 5.8 feet in height and around 7 feet in length. It has brown fur and sharp horns growing from its snout and behind its back.
Today, I planned to hunt a prey that I would never even dare get close to before, but now, I have a group of orklings with me, preparing to kill this boar. And we didn't come barehanded; this time I managed to craft a spear, using the logs as a foundation.
The thin logs that couldn't be used to construct the hut were turned into spears; the logs were sturdy and dense enough that they would not split in half with our brute force once we tried sharpening their tips.
It has been a few days since, and the horde has grown to seven orklings. The third hut was also built yesterday and will spawn new orklings along with the other huts later, increasing my horde to 10 if nothing happens.
The boar was busy grinding its horns at the tree, unbeknownst to it, and we slowly got close. Once we were in position, I took the lead in the assault.
"AGGHH!"
I shouted, hoping to intimidate the boar.
"ROAH!"
"RAAA!"
"HAAA!"
The others followed suit and shouted their war cry.
The boar, intimidated by the sudden number of green creatures and their roars, slowly backed away, but the tree blocked its only path of retreat.
I observed the boar as it slowly retreated; it was then that Orkaa, being an ork, didn't bother to probe the boar; he saw an opening and he took; now, the spear tip wasn't sharp in any case, but if you thrust and apply a lot of force, so great that once the spear hits the skin, it won't pierce it but tear it apart.
The boar went berserk once its life was threatened, and coupled with the damage that Orkaa just dealt, it decided to charge, and it aimed its tusk at Orkoo.
Orkoo just spawned yesterday, which means he is a teenager, so either Orkoo was too slow, or he just didn't bother to dodge it in the first place.
"Orkoo moved away!"
I called, and the moment I noticed the boar's intention, I warned Orkoo right away, but the ork didn't even flinch but braced itself for the charge.
DugDugDugDug!
The boar charged at Orkoo. The other orks chased after the board.
Puchi!
"GRAHH!"
Orkoo was impaled by the boar's tusks to his chest, but the pain and damage it caused didn't even make Orkaa flinch; instead, it showed more vigor than it had before.
Orkoo raised his spear with both of his hands and stabbed it at the boar's forehead. I expected the spear to tear its skull open and kill it on the spot, but compared to any boar on earth, this one had a very thick skull. Orkoo's attack didn't kill the boar but dealt enough damage that it formed a crack in the skull. The pain caused the boar to maniacally wave its head, resulting in Orkoo being flung away.
The others didn't let this chance slip by; the boar was waving its head and trying very hard to remove the spear from its forehead. They took their chances and attacked the boar from its body. Now the boar looks like a reverse porcupine, with seven large spears sticking out of its skin.
I followed the orks after getting Orkoo into safety, making sure he was fine and well, then I went behind the boar and aimed my spear for its anus. I went in dry!
">POWER STIKE!<"
"Puchuk!"
"REEEEEEEEE!"
The spear went in deeper compared to the other orks attack, and the boar, unprepared by my attack and knowing its demise was very close, mustered up all its remaining power to escape.
With the orks behind and on its sides, the boar had no choice but to run forward, going in Orkoo's direction; although Orkoo was severely injured, he was already on his feet and used a spare spear as a standing stick.
Seeing the boar charge towards Orkoo, I panicked and called for Orkoo.
"Orkoo! Get out of the way! That boar is going to bleed to death; leave it alone!"
Orkoo, overwhelmed by blood lust, couldn't hear Lokie and braced itself for another impact. Mind you, the boar is huge; those tusks are as thick as the arm of an adult human.
"ROOO!!!!"
This time, Orkoo aimed for the boar's right eye. As the tusk stabbed into Orkoo, the spear pierced its way into its brain. killing the boar on the spot. At the same time, the boar's tusk almost pierced through. Orkoo held the tusk, trying to make sure it didn't go in any deeper.
"You fucking maniac! Orkuu and Orkii go find me some dried wood to make fire, Orkaa and the rest, make sure the boar is dead."
I checked Orkoo's injuries, and he has two gaping holes on his chest and a deep wound on his stomach. From the looks of it, Orkoo wouldn't make it.
I hurriedly made some fire. I plan to seal Orkoo's wounds on the stomach and the back, although the two gaping wounds on his chest were huge and seemed critical, and I can only cover them with dried fur to try and stop the bleeding.
One thing is for sure: if I don't do something, Orkoo won't make it back to the camp.
Orkoo was still in a fighting state; he was still grinning from that combat, and he is still full of energy. After almost an hour of trying to make a fire, I managed to seal some of Orkoo's wounds. By now, Orkoo has lost his vigor and is in deep pain; he is sweating a lot and looking pale. I cleaned his wound and covered his chest with fur. Right now, only he can save himself.
"Come on, Orkoo, let's get you home. Orkii, come, help me carry Orkoo to the camp. Orkee and Orkaa go scouting ahead. The rest of you carry the boar to the camp."
Orkii helped carry the boar; he stopped when I called him and came and helped me carry Orkoo back to the camp. Orkii seemed bored.
"God damn it, Orkoo, stop touching your wound!"
As both Orkii and I carried Orkoo back, Orkoo wouldn't stop touching his wound. He would flinch and hiss, then a few seconds later would touch his wound. fucking nut job.

Orkee was leading the group; he would check the marks we left so we don't get lost, and he would double-mark them once we passed by, indicating we passed through here on our way back to camp, while Orkaa would scout ahead to look out for danger. As we walked back to the camp, I checked the system.

"Jesus Christ! This guy has NO INTELLIGENT STATS!" Fortunately, the spawn trait is a numerical bonus."
Those four CONSTITUTIONS are what's keeping him alive for now. But that zero INT, is that even possible?
"Blood Thirst, huh?"
This is going to be a pain in the ass. I hope I can find a way to negate this effect.
It didn't take a while before we found our way back to the camp; the moment we arrived, I directly sent Orkoo to the Chieftain's Hut, hoping the passive effect would also work on him.
After I left Orkoo inside the hut, I couldn't notice any visible effect on him, so I just left and dealt with the boar.
When I got to the boar, I noticed Orkaa and Orkee trying to pull the tusks from the boar's head.
"Gruk! Grooo! Grones! Gard!"
It has been a few days since they have been accompanying me, and one thing is for sure: they do understand me when I speak in English. The same could also be true when they speak with me; it may sound like grunting and gibberish, but I do understand them, and I think it has something to do with the loyalty perk.
Orkaa and the rest, who had been with me the most, could form a small conversation with me, albeit a little bit incoherent, but as they talked and relayed what they wanted to say to me, my mind, or something in me, interpreted what they meant, and I would then get the gist of it.
I think the loyalty doesn't make them understand me; I think it just makes my intention easily understood. If I were to say eat, but my intention was to shit, they would probably shit rather than eat. In a sense, if I think they have been speaking gibberish since day one, then I probably sound like a deaf person talking when they hear me.
This also explains why these orks, despite having 2–3 INTELLIGENT stats, could be well organized when under my command and follow simple instructions but returned to being nut jobs when I let them alone to their own devices.
"Where are the others?"
I looked around the place and I couldn't find the rest of them; they couldn't be that stupid to venture on into the forest on their own, could they?
"Gruhk! Flesh. Tree."
"Sigh... alright, stand back; I'll show you how to remove these tusks. You don't pull them like that; these are held together by muscles and flesh. You got me?"
"Ahh?"
'Deep breath'
"Nevermind, anyway, I will show you how it is done."
And so I taught them how to remove the bones without damaging the rest of the meat. It's crude since I have no experience in butchery, but in an era of information, even if you don't actively search for them, these types of videos or feeds would pop up once in a while. That's how I ended up watching a video about which larvae are edible at 3:00 a.m.
Time flew by as we butchered the boar into pieces, and bones that could be used as weapons were piled near the chieftain's hut while the meat was smoked.
Time to time I would open and check the Horde System, to see if Orkoo finally kicked the bucket, but seeing the number is still the same, he is still holding on for dear life.
While we were busy butchering the boar, a confused ork walked out of the hut. He stood at the entrance as he observed what we were doing. It took us a couple of minutes to notice his presence.
"Orkab, hand me that sharp stone next to you. Hey, Orkab, Orka—Who are you?"
Once I noticed the ork, the others stopped what they were doing and stared at the hut, where the ork stood looking confused. A momentary pause. It was then that Orkaa, Orkee, and Orkii ran and held the new ork by the back; Orkii held the ork at the back, while Orkaa and Orkee took turns expressing their older sibling's treatment.

"Alright, the rest of you return to what you were doing just now. Orkab, the stone."
I finally found a loophole, or, to be precise, an even more efficient way to gather loyalty. I think the normal way to earn loyalty is to prove you are stronger than the ork in a sense worthy of being followed by these muscled brains, to lead them into battle and win, and lastly, to have your subordinate extend their influence through peaceful beating. There could be more, but in time we will figure it out.
I accidentally discovered this when I was beating Orkoo's loyalty out of him and another ork spawned, which was Orkuu at that time. Too lazy to deal with him, I told Orkaa and Orkee to deal with Orkuu; by dealing, I meant to subdue the ork. When I'm done with this one, I will deal with Orkuu, but Orkaa's way of subduing was to beat the crap out of the ork to keep him in place, so they beat the crap out of the newly spawned ork. At that moment, I received a loyalty notification.
Although I could gather loyalty points by letting my subordinates do the beating, I also had to follow some prerequisites: first, the ork must be loyal enough that everything he does is considered exercising my influence; second, although my subordinates can gather loyalty, it is only up to a specific threshold; for example, Orkaa could only gather around 25 loyalty points from the newly spawned orklings, while I could gather more than 25 points. This was evident as, when I sparred with Orkaa and Orkee the other day, I gained loyalty points every time my fist landed on their green faces.
Wanting to test if my theory was correct, I asked Orkii to beat Orkoo, and so Orkii beat the crap out of Orkoo, but I didn't receive any loyalty notifications, which I find odd, I thought there was something missing, so I called Orkaa to beat Orkoo, and then a loyalty notification popped up.
So in conclusion, only those orklings who have reached some sort of loyalty meter could then be considered a part of my faction or group. In a sense, Orkii wasn't loyal enough, so I gave him some love talk through my fist along with Orkoo and Orkuu.
After some time, a new orkling walked out of the other hut, and knowing that two more would be spawning after the first, it didn't take a second for me to notice him right away.
"Oh!, Welcome! Well, what are you waiting for? Give him his welcome ceremony."
Orkuu and Orkab ran towards the ork; Orkab held the orkling's hands at the back while Orkuu proceeded to beat the new ork.

A few minutes later, another one walked out, and when he saw the scene that was happening in front of him, he was stupefied. Confused for a second, the ork grinned and ran toward Orkuu and Orkab, where he proceeded to beat the ork that Orkab was holding.
