You gesture for Mu'randa to lead the way, "three days sounds good, but Jace did want to give the Warp Engine a look over given how rough out last transit was. With an Imperial shipyard and all of its resources, that's a five day job on its own."
Mu'randa nods her head in acceptance and leads you down the corridor, "the Fio'shas did indicate that he wanted to perform diagnostics, but a complete rebuild seems quite excessive. If the engine is functioning properly, then surely it will continue to do so?"
You put your hand to your face, "I don't know how you do it in your Empire, but we Imperials don't rut about with the Warp. Take a look at the discarded armor plating from the Aegis' sides; note the tooth, claw, and tentacle marks. Or what happened to the Cambrian. So if my Enginseer Primus wants to take a look at the Warp Engine, then he has my full backing."
Mu'randa almost trips over a stray CAT, "you have news of the Cambrian? What happened to her?"
You shrug, "her Gellar Field wasn't up to a Warp storm, so she almost became a snack for one of the big Dwellers in the Warp. As a result, she is stuck in orbit over Vrenna."
Mu'randa gestures to several unusual looking cargo pallets as you enter the hold, "So that's what the unusual generators were for, and why there were so many of them in her core hull. I'll have to send to the Fio've and the Kor've to let them know."
You lean over, looking at what you presume to be prefabricated structure components, "I'm just a layman when it comes to how the bolts and cogs actually work, but Jace probably knows more."

Mu'randa makes a note on what you assume to be a dataslate of some kind, "I'll point one of the Fio'vre at him to swap technical documents, I certainly can't get my head around practical metaphysics or quantum waveform generators. On an unrelated note, does the Aegis still have a training area, or do you not carry Shas'la?"
You raise an eyebrow at Mu'randa, "you do realize that I'm guessing based on context every time you pull out one of those Tau throat-twisters? The Aegis does carry armsmen, and the requisite training facilities. Firing ranges are in Cargo Bay Seven, but cross check with Adam Mantium for available times."
It is Mu'randa's turn to raise an eyebrow, "the missionary? Why?"
You shrug, "Bosun Morrigan is still in the sickbay under observation after dealing with the Incursion. Adam is the acting Bosun at the moment."
Mu'randa nods, and gestures to the next stack of cargo palettes, "ah, iur'tae'mont, I understand. Shall we continue?"
The inspection continues as you look over the various goods and items that you are ferrying to the Outbound system. You leave Mu'randa to check in with the rest of her delegation and continue onward looking for Jace. As you leave Mu'randa behind, you can't help but think damn, she has a nice ass.
Seven days later, once Jace is fully satisfied with all of the repairs, and even the Tau engineers are impressed by his thoroughness, the Aegis departs for the Outbound system. Yasha is fully healed and rested, and it shows in the smoothness of the transit. Two days of offloading later, you are ready to depart for the Dagda system. Zheeves has already set arrangements in motion, and Morrigan and Vir are both looking forward to their new posts. You are leaning back in you cabin avoiding dealing with the usual reports when a signal comes in over your microbead. You frown, not expecting any calls, "Tristan here."
"Mu'randa here Kor'el Von Sebastion. I was wondering where I should set up the liaison office to coordinate future shipping contracts, as you have no base of operations on Vrenna."
