Marco suddenly wakes up in a forest, not in his home where he was focused on school work. When he finds out he's in the world of Pokémon, he goes on an adventure to learn more about the world he is now in. Starting in Kalos, Marcos plans to visit each region and train himself up to handle himself properly in this new world. However, unown forces seem to threaten the Pokémon World. Was Marco brought to this world by Arceus, who has been known to transport people and beings, in order to help with this threat? Or is his presence a key factor for these entities?
