V2 Chapter 5: Written Memories

V2 Chapter 5: Written Memories

When NB decided to broadcast themselves on the news or whatever, I stopped dreaming the same dreams. I definitely stopped seeing my sister standing in the distant, my real mother, and the older sister figure who took me in. I know me and Chris promised we would figure out our past and save our friend Alex, but now that he plans on starting a war, my attention is focused elsewhere.

After the commotion with the group known as New Beginning, Selena and other officials decided it would be better to close down the schools for a brief moment until they figured out what their true intentions were. In case they targeted the schools, they had to protect the next generation. On the last day, Jorge went looking for Lisa and her friends, but they had left early. After he figured it would prove useless, he made his way back to find Chris so they can both figure out a plan for Alex.

"What? Sorry I can't." (Chris)

"You got to be kidding me! It's Alex, we have to do something before somebody gets hurt." (Jorge)

"I hear you, but I can't right now. Besides, I doubt Selena has time for us anyways. After that huge fiasco, I'm sure she's dealing with other royals and leaders as well." (Chris)

"I know but... Wait, where are you going?" (Jorge)

"Listen, I'm sure she's already aware of Alex anyways. Things are too hot right now; Ivan's ridiculous group wouldn't be dumb enough to do something right now anyways." (Chris)

She ignored my question. (Jorge)

"Oh right. I got plans with my grandfather. Look, think of a plan to find Alex while I dig something out of Allister but don't go doing anything stupid." (Chris)

Jorge couldn't sit still. After he got back home to drop off his stuff, he made his way to the palace, unfortunately the guards stationed outside were ordered to not let anyone pass. Since that was the case, he decided yelling would be the best option.

------------------------------------------------------------------

"He's annoying. Do you want me to deal with him?" (Julie)

"No, I figured this would happen, so I called Lisa in advance. She said she had to prepare somethings and then she would come over." (Selena)

In her office, Selena was dealing with papers and contracts in order to set up parameters and protection in key locations that could be a target for NB. The distraction from Jorge's constant screams was hindering her work.

"Deal with that stuff later, we need to chat with Lady Mabel anyways. At least his annoying voice won't reach us there." (Julie)

"Stop, it's not his fault. I want to hear him out but this cities safety comes first." (Selena)

Julie was dumb founded; she had noticed her best friend maturing after she took the reins but the way she said it was abnormal.

"That's not it... You can't be bias because... You like him, don't you? When was it? Wait, it was when he busted through the floor looking all heroic right?" (Julie)

"You're crazy.." (Selena)

------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Selena!" (Jorge)

"She clearly doesn't want anything to do with you. Your yelling is only annoying her at this point, and everyone else around." (?)

A boy walking down the road, interrupted Jorge. Not knowing who he was, Jorge was about to reply but the guards didn't hesitate to call out his name.

"Lord Jimmy? We weren't expecting you..." (Guard 1)

Jimmy? Never heard of him but his eyes... Lisa did mention something about a bunch of younger vampires waking up now. He's some kind of lord and yet he's dressed like a butler. (Jorge)

"Can I help you?" (Jorge)

"You can actually. You can start by leaving or else." (Jimmy)

"Or else what Jimmy? Believe it or not, he's a Chronicler. You hurt him and you'll be dealing with us." (Lisa)

"Lisa, when did you?" (Jorge)

Jorge turned around to find a hand grab him by the collar. Once Lisa spoke, he froze. Clearly her coming to meet him must be because of Selena.

"You don't say? I'll be careful from now on." (Jimmy)

Before Jorge could say anything, Lisa jumped into the air, dragging along Jorge with her. She could have left with causing a commotion, but instead she made a crater in the hopes that dust would get blown onto Jimmy's face.

"That girl..." (Jimmy)

-----------------------------------------------------------------

When Jorge finally opened his eyes, he found himself in an unfamiliar place. The view felt magical, when they landed outside the building, it looked pretty normal but inside, it felt as if the ceiling went for miles. Books stacked all around them, some were even flying as if some invisible force was carrying them.

"What is this place? A library?" (Jorge)

"Welcome to our families amazing library. You're very lucky! only a few individuals have ever seen this place." (Lisa)

"Yes, very Lucky. Most people wouldn't even be able to enter but when I heard you drank Liz's blood and became her familiar, I figured you'd be allowed into here." (Gabriel)

"You're..." (Jorge)

I instantly remembered his voice. After all, he was in my dreams. Although his face was blurred when I slept, once I actually saw him with my very own eyes... (Jorge)

"Wow, Lisa wasn't lying when she said you forgot your memories. Now I'm even more curious on why my older sister kept you hidden. You're different now. It's looks like you've gotten softer and more annoying." (Gabriel)

Jorge got up as Gabriel descended down the stairs, mocking him. Once they were face to face, he examined his him from head to toe.

"There's one thing I know. How much I hate you. Infact, the moment I heard your face, that was the one thing I remembered. I can't believe it though, I actually saw you when I escaped the prison, but I doubt you would've noticed me. You looked more concerned about failing to stop the escaped" (Jorge)

"You're right. Had I gotten involved, it could have all ended easily. Wait, Were you the one with that terrible hairstyle? Ahh, sorry... I bet you wanted to look like that." (Gabriel)

They glared at each other aggressively like two alphas ready to fight. Lisa decided to intervene and help get to the reason why they were here to begin with.

"That enough you two. Jorge, there was a reason I brought you here. Perhaps my sister knew this would happen, but I believe by sharing her blood with you... You might be able to use our ability. Well, the truth is, you entering this building pretty much confirmed it." (Lisa)

"And if I wasn't able to enter?" (Jorge)

"You would have been paralyzed." (Gabriel)

"What?!" (Jorge)

"Relax. Look I found this in the library a few days ago. It can't be a coincidence." (Gabriel)

"This is..." (Jorge)

Gabriel handed him a book and on the cover was Jorges's name.

"We have the ability to engrave our memories on to books and even enchant others who write about their lives. When someone reads it, they're able to relive those memories. The fact that you have one, must mean that Liz took a drop of your blood and created it." (Lisa)

Jorge opened the Book and on the first page was a written note just for him, by Liz.

> Jorge, if you're ready this, it must mean you met Lisa and Gabriel. By now so much must be happening that your feeling useless. I had you write this book incase an event ever happened that would require you to get your memories back. I didn't hand this to you sooner because I needed you to decide for yourself after some time. Decide whether you wanted to remember the past or not. By reading this book, you'll remember everything, I even included my own writing to help you understand how you came into our care. Unfortunately, it's important that you think very carefully. You should know that you had a very different personality back then. Its common when you grow up with vampires. The likely hood of your current and past self-colliding is very high. I know you wish to know of your origin, but I'll tell you the same thing my uncle would say. Go to the Last Frontier and all your questions will be answered.

"Jorge?" (Lisa)

"The warden left this for me. She knew I would come here... Tell me, was I a good fighter back then?" (Jorge)

"Of course. You're a Chronicler." (Gabriel)

The room was silent for a moment until Gabriel spoke out.

"This is clearly something you need to face on your own. We'll give you same space." (Gabriel)

Gabriel looked at Lisa, telling her to come but she didn't move.

"Jorge, no matter what happen, you are still you... and one of us." (Lisa)

He didn't turn around but just nodded his head. After they left, he roamed around the library, thinking about what he should do.

If I remember everything, it might change me, but I also can't live ignorant of everything. The way I am now, I can get stronger. Perhaps I even learned how to control my powers back then... Or I can learn again but I hate breaking my bones. I had another life, and I can't ignore that... What if I view my friends differently and favor vampires more? (Jorge)

The memories of his friends ran through his mind, and it finally hit him. No matter what, his friends were everything to him.

"Let's do this." (Jorge)

He opened the book to the first page and began reading.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

In the forest just outside the Lost City, a green haired woman had just finished laying a woman to rest, leaving multiple flowers at her grave. The baby in her arm slept quietly. Its warmness soothed her soul and then their moment was interrupted by Liz.

"Is that the child? I'm surprised my uncle didn't take him... I wonder what happened." (Liz)

"My lady..." (Leafa)

"I thought I told you to stop calling me that." (Liz)

Leafa handed the child and vanished into the woods. Liz ended up taking Jorge to her estate where Al was waiting.

"Al, is father home?" (Liz)

"..." (Al)

"Good, I need to talk to him. What? No, it's not my child so stop getting flustered. But I plan on adopting him as one of our own. I'm sure Lisa and Tito will be happy with it so don't tell them yet." (Liz)

After Liz made her way to her father's office, she smiled as he continued doing paperwork, not noticing her presence.

"Are you actually here or is this just your shadow?" (Liz)

"Liz, when did you get here? No matter, I'm looking for a promising candidate who can take the reins for us. Sadly, most of these humans are corrupted or can be easily persuaded." (David)

Liz used her special ability to see into the future and helped answer her father's question.

"Wait a few more years, that special human will come." (Liz)

"I thought I told you not too... is that a baby?" (David)

"Yes. I want to adopt him. He is a child of three. One was lost to us unfortunately and Uncle Allister saved the other." (Liz)

"You want another sibling that bad huh? Very well." (David)

"His name is Jorge" (Liz)

"Interesting. Thats a popular name where my side of the family is from. It's unusual to find a baby with the name up here. He definitely doesn't look Spanish" (David)

> My father knew that You weren't normal. He was able to sense magic better than me, but he never asked. I guess he figured I knew what I was doing but I didn't. This was the first time I didn't know how things were turn out. Perhaps something about your upbringing was blocking me from seeing your future. My ability allows me to see the future at random moments in time, even if it's my own but I learned to control it and forced my way in. Once I knew how life would go, I decided to move pieces accordingly.

After she got his approval, she showed Jorge to Lisa and Gabriel although Lisa was the only one who was happy, Gabriel hid his emotions, but she knew he was also excited to have a brother for once. Throughout the years, they educated and trained him to fight.

"I'm surprised Jorge, you're only just 5 and you act like an old man." (Liz)

"Sister. You said I had the potential for magic. I can feel it, but nothing is coming out." (Jorge)

"Perhaps you just suck at it." (Gabirel)

"Tito don't start." (Liz)

"It's alright. Bro is right, perhaps I need to train harder." (Jorge)

Jorge stared at the palm of his hand, showing no frustration. He balled it into a fist and made a look of determination. Liz and Gabriel just smiled.

"Well until then, just get used to that feeling. We'll find out what your power is eventually. How's your training with Al?" (Liz)

"Terrible. Master is ruthless. Sometimes, I feel like a butler while other times he trains me in assassination. I prefer fighting with brute strength, but I guess this is fine. I have abnormal strength so I might as well put it to good use. I want to protect my family after all." (Jorge)

"Usually when a human talks like that, they smile and make a cool pose." (Liz)

"I tried smiling more but Lisa says I look creepy. Even you guys smile better than me. From my studies with Gabriel, I heard vampires hardly express their emotions, but I haven't met other vampires and yet, you guys always smile and laugh." (Jorge)

"One day you will but our kind can be a little aggressive. Especially since they hate our family now. The last thing we want is for them to bully you. You need to get stronger. I know Lisa would not approve but it's important that you go on this mission with Al." (Liz)

Jorge stared at his siblings without and showed a creepy smile that weirded them out.

"Don't worry, I know you guys are worried too but I'm ready. Tomorrow I'll experience my first real fight and kill." (Jorge)

"By the way Jorge, where do you go in the morning? You always run into the forest?" (Gabriel)

"I was visiting Leafa. We always talk about random stuff and plant fresh flowers for the woman who brought me into this world." (Jorge)

"Leafa?" (Gabriel)

"It's the name he gave the spirit that guards the forest. I think it's cute." (Liz)

"Come on now, spirits aren't real. The forest is just enchanted because of David." (Gabriel)

"I guess you'll never know unless you see it for yourself." (Liz)

After Liz took Jorge inside, she handed him a book.

"A book?" (Jorge)

"I want you to write your entire life into this and if a day ever comes when you might need it. You can use it to help remember the past." (Liz)

"Did you see something?" (Jorge)

"Not Necessarily. All I saw was the finish product of this book in my hand. I don't know why but I'll enchant it in the future." (Liz)

"Very well. Thank you." (Jorge)

His mission went smoothly. Their target was a human who was running an underground ring that delivered young blood to vampires. After Jorge finished off the leader, he never expected that a vampire was running it from the shadows. While Al was occupied releasing the children, Jorge had no choice but to confront the man.

"Ridiculous. A child has been causing us trouble?" (?)

"Your eyes and hair... So, you're a lesser vampire. That should make things easy." (Jorge)

"Don't get cocky because you killed a few of your own kind." (?)

"From what I learned; all of you should be restrained by the noble you serve. We're in lady Abigail's domain so either you've gone rogue or you're working in a domain where no one is watching... No matter, I was told to kill anyone involved." (Jorge)

The vampire kicked the desk Infront of him at Jorge which he sliced in half with a large silver knife he unsheathed from his hip. Surprised by the young boy quick response, they both stood in silence. The lesser vampire dashed to the right, but Jorge instantly threw his knife which pierced his chest, the power behind it caused him to be nailed to the wall.

"Dam, who the fuck is this kid!!" (?)

He screamed in anger. Jorge jumped, spiraling his body towards the vampire and used both his feet to smash the vampires head into mush, silencing the man. After, he used the knife to cut him continuously until regenerating would prove useless. Behind the Jorge was Al as he stared at the young boy, covered in blood.

"...." (Al)

"Sorry master. I didn't mean to engage without you, but he gave me no choice. I figured he would be weaker than my siblings. I was right." (Jorge)

Their mission was a success. Later that night, Al decided to wake up Liz.

"He killed a lesser vampire. Not bad." (Liz)

"...." (Al)

Al waved his arms, although he wore a mask, anyone who knew him could tell he was angry. Liz, respected his opinion but looking at Jorge who just stared at the ground behind him, worried her.

"It's fine Al. So, a five-year-old shouldn't be able to easily kill a vampire. It's not like he'll come after us. Besides, maybe it was just luck, I doubt he's ready to face a noble... yet." (Liz)

"..." (Al)

"What? No way. If you really want an answer, then just ask him. Jorge, will you ever betray your family?" (Liz)

"I could never!" (Jorge)

"There you go. It's not like he wanted to kill the vampire, it was do or die. I respect it." (Liz)

Al turned and stared at Jorge.

"..." (Al)

"Yes master. If I ever betray my family, you can end my life." (Jorge)

"Jorge..." (Liz)

Liz was amazed by the words that came out of the little boy's mouth. He stared right back at a man who could end his life in a second and showed no fear. It was scary but she wasn't worried, for she knew his destiny, even if Al intervened.

Throughout the years, Jorge continued helping out, whether it was with Liz or Al. Their very rule was to root out the poison in this city in order to eventually help clean the mess that came from having isolated the humans and allowing them to run amok. Jorge met all kind of unusual people. and yet none of them had power like he did until one woman caught his eye.

"Cousin, why is there little boy with you?" (Denise)

"His name is Jorge. We adopted him about six... no seven years ago?" (Liz)

"You're kidding right? He's practically the same age as my kid. He shouldn't be here. Let him do normal human stuff like... playing with toys or something." (Denise)

"Like you're one to talk. I told you it's fine for your kid to go to a normal school instead of one of those little poor community centers that only teach 3 times out of the week." (Liz)

I couldn't see her face... but her eyes were so blue. It was beautiful (Jorge)

"HI..." (Jorge)

"What?" (Denise)

"Wow, Jorge, are you blushing?" (Liz)

"Enough. Why are we outside this building? Is this the group that plans on attacking the city?" (Denise)

"Yes, there is a human who turned vampire with the ability to cause explosions once his blood is exposed and activated. The crazy thing is that he's from an ancient family that specialized in explosion abilities. They were said to have been wiped out from the church, but I guess their decedents still exist. Luckily, they don't know their true history but regardless of what they become, that power is always engraved onto their soul." (Liz)

"And his followers plan on using his blood throughout the city? Is this their base of operations?" (Denise)

"No but we'll get our answers once we interrogate them." (Liz)

"Say less." (Denise)

The sounds of the door freezing and crumbling caused everyone to put their guard up. Denise jumped in, place her hand on the ground, covering the floor with ice that spread to everyone's feet.

"Please don't resist. Although I just need one of you to live." (Denise)

"I can't move!" (??)

"It doesn't matter! Just fire!" (???)

Once shots were fired, Denise used her magic in order to blow a cold wind from her mouth which made the bullets shatter like glass. The air extended to their guns and eventually broke them as well.

"Wind magic, not bad cousin." (Liz)

"Shut up, it was my mom's idea, she said it would be cool to learn it. I finally got the hang of it a year ago." (Denise)

"Jorge, tie them up" (Liz)

"Understood." (Jorge)

After their interrogation ended. They left to find the leader but unfortunately, they were too late. Certain locations in Abigails domain were already being targeted.

"Jorge, go help clear debris but don't let anyone see you. Denise, I need you to cool down those flames." (Liz)

"Wait what? I know what you're thinking but I don't have that much magic." (Denise)

"Don't worry, just a little storm should be good." (Liz)

"Dam it! This is going to leave me drained!" (Denise)

Denise raised her hands to the sky and release a lot of magic. As she focused on making it rain, Liz placed her hand on Denise's back and poured some of her magic in order to speed up the process. It wasn't until they connected that she saw a vision. A glimpse into the future that showed Jorge dead on the floor, the shocking image cause her to back away.

"Oh snap, we did it! Liz did... Liz are you alright?" (Denise)

"We need to find Jorge. Right now." (Liz)

> By the time we got to you. You had already lost the fight. Bomb Blast Jack was the vampire you had faced.

"Elizabeth Chronicler. So, you've come." (Jack)

"Bomb Blast Jack. I had heard rumors about you from my uncle. How did you get into this city?" (Liz)

"At the same time the others from the Last frontier got in seven years ago. Luckily, I was able to come in undetected. Perhaps your guards had other priorities." (Jack)

"You messed up when you hurt my little brother." (Liz)

"You think I haven't learned about what I am now? I may not be a noble but with this ability, I'm sure I can still take you on." (Jack)

"Let's see about that. Denise!" (Liz)

"On it!" (Denise)

Denise made a sword out of ice and swung it, the sheer coldness of it made spikes of ice come out from the ground which went in a straight line towards Jack. The moment He jumped back, he slit his own wrist and threw his blood at the incoming ice. Once both touched an explosion had occurred, stopping the attack and leaving him unscathed.

"Denise, Get Jorge and heal him." (Liz)

"Very well but I can no longer help. I'll draw to much attention." (Denise)

"That's fine. By now, Selena and the others should be helping elsewhere. Come, Centi." (Liz)

The sound of the ground beneath their feet shook. Just below Jack, a giant red crystallized Centipede came out; Its pinchers were able to pierce his leg, but he responded quickly by sacrificing his left arm and dropping it onto the creature, shattering it to pieces with its explosive might.

Dammit. What an annoying ability. I swear if I ever run into another person like him. I'll make sure to end it quickly. Alright Liz, focus... If I can exhaust his ability, then close combat will be a piece of cake for me. (Liz)

"Liz! don't use all of your trump cards. You don't know who can be watching." (Denise)

"I know! But... I can careless. Let them examine me, they'll die all the same." (Liz)

Liz caused more centipedes to come out from the ground that continued to thrash around and use Jack as their plaything but every time he spilled blood, more explosions would occur. When the smoke cleared, all the was left was his body on the ground as he coughed out blood. Every limb was gone but his right arm.

How much blood did he drink... No, more like, who turned him? His vitality is out of this world. (Liz)

"That was your blood magic... but when did you use it?" (Jack)

"Usually, I like to show my power in order to look badass, but Selena kept telling me that it's corny. So, I made sure to make some familiars prior to our fight although I'm almost at my limit. There's only so much you can do without drinking blood and since I'm not a complete Noble... I'm almost at my limit." (Liz)

If I had used my power, I could have seen all this coming... But I promised dad and uncle that I wouldn't mess with time. I was wrong. If only I was powerful like my mom... I could use some immunity from blood right about now. (Liz)

"I refuse die! The moment you exposed my wounds, it was over!" (Jack)

Jack laughed hysterically as blood flowed out from his missing limbs. The amount of blood leaving turned his skin white as it formed into a ball. Liz could have easily dodged but it would only cause everyone and everything behind her to get hit. Once she prepared herself to block it, the figure of Jorge ran past her. His very body steaming and with one punch, a huge power of energy was released. To the human eye, nothing was there but the space itself looked as if it was warping, causing the blood to get blown back. Liz responded by surrounding it and Jack in a large bubble made of shadows. The after math of the explosion still sent them all crashing into nearby buildings.

> After that day, you sustained some serious injuries. Before your accident, I helped establish a group of researchers to help learn more about your abilities. Unfortunately, the blood I secretly took from you wasn't good enough since you hadn't fully activated. We later learned that you had the ability to focus your inner magic in different locations of your body and release it. When you weren't doing that, it would linger around your body which explained the superhuman strength. The side effect of you using such a power would cause you to overheat. When you first used it, your body was so sensitive that the damage sustained from Jack's shockwave almost killed you.

>

> You spent most of your time in a coma. When you finally woke up, you had forgotten everything. As the days went by, you even forgot certain days of the week. Other than that, I thought all of your troubles would be over until you met two girls in your dreams. They were your sisters. We couldn't figure out the connection, but I had my theories... But the Last Frontier will have those answers.

A few more years later, Liz was by Jorge bed side in the facility.

"What's wrong Jorge?" (Liz)

"Warden... Lately my dreams have been feeling a little bizarre. I see the same two girls every time, one of them is named Milly and the other is Ericka... We play a lot but lately Ericka has gotten more weirder." (Jorge)

"I see. What about Milly?" (Liz)

"She's kind but she vanished all of a sudden." (Jorge)

> I later learned why Milly probably left. I assessed that your sister Ericka had the ability to absorb your power and life force so Allister must have done something to save Milly. At one point, you hadn't woken up for days, you were feverish. When we finally got you up, I decided to share my blood because my vision deemed it necessary. I studied forever in my library in order to learn about secret abilities that vampires can use. One was the ability to make familiars. It cut off your connection and helped you heal but eventually you forgot all about that as well, so it laid dormant.

>

> Which now brings us to everything you remembered in the facility or prison if that's how you saw it. Jorge, I created that place in order to gather Inhumans to fight a future enemy that will threaten our world. I used my abilities to change the future by saving the fate of many children and/or altering it. I had hoped that seeing a world other than that of just soulless, the church, and monster hunters would help but people are unpredictable. I figured if you're reading this, then you could help change the fate that will befall them if they choose revenge.

>

> Even if you didn't, the current you would still do the right thing because you care about your friends. The Nobles won't tell you this but beneath the prisons should be new established cells. In these cells contains human with unique abilities that could threaten the very lives in the Lost City. Your friend Alex was one of the first to be kept there but after a few sessions, he was deemed safe and allowed to join you and the others. Jorge, you are a child who can shape his own future. I leave the rest to you.

Jorge closed the book and left the library.

--------------------------------------------------------------

After walking for a bit, Jorge made his way to the forest and was standing in front of a head stone that had no writing.

Even after I lost my memories, I was still looking for you. I wish I had gotten to know you. (Jorge)

Your back... (Leafa)

Jorge turned around to find Leafa coming out from within a tree.

"Yea, it's been a while. Thank you for taking care of this grave while I was gone." (Jorge)

"Of course." (Leafa)

"You know, I figured it out at the end, even without Liz telling me. Your appearance... You took over Arianna body, right or at least created your current body based off of hers? Is that why Jorge and Lisa have never seen you? They don't even think you exist. Are you ashamed to show them your appearance? If so, it must mean that she died in this forest." (Jorge)

There's also the color of Leafa's hair. I've never seen anyone with green hair and eyes... It reminds of Chris. (Jorge)

"I... don't know... I don't know how I came to be." (Leafa)

"Sorry, I didn't mean to unload all that. Its none of my business. Although I am curious about what happened to the mother of the family that adopted me, it's not a story that would benefit me. When you're ready to show yourself to them, then go ahead and do it. They're not as scary as you think." (Jorge)

"Thank you..." (Leafa)

"I should get going. Lisa is probably looking for me. Thanks for everything Leafa, sorry I took so long to come back. We'll hang again." (Jorge)

----------------------------------------------------------------

Back at the library Lisa was yelling everywhere for Jorge while Gabriel just sat by a table with food.

"Jorge, where did you go? I brought dinner! Jorge!" (Lisa)

"Maybe he left? I guess he chose not to read it." (Gabriel)

"Even if he didn't, he wouldn't just leave. Jorge!" (Lisa)

"Sorry, I'm here. There was a place I had to go see." (Jorge)

Lisa looks down towards bottom floor and saw Jorge entering the library. The siblings both looked at his face to see if he read it since they didn't want to ask. No one spoke, they just stood there in awkward silence.

"You guys are as weird as ever. Yes, I read it." (Jorge)

"I knew it!" (Lisa)

"How do you feel?" (Gabriel)

"Well, I don't feel as goofy anymore, but I guess you can say the old and current me are one." (Jorge)

"I guess it's on to the next task! Training you! I know you've been receiving some from Raymond and you now remember how to fight better but now it's time to combine everything together. And it's good to know if your body can still move like it used to." (Lisa)

"Are you guys sure? You know I plan to go and stop my friends from annihilating themselves but that will also mean facing anyone who might get in the way. Even if they're vampires. You guys are nobles after all. It could stop you from being next in line." (Jorge)

Gabriel smiled and looked at Lisa, who in return chuckled.

"We know. You're our family so we got your back. We also don't plan on being a part of this whole royalty thing. We already informed Selena that we're out." (Lisa)

"What! Why?" (Jorge)

"Because we're Chroniclers and Vasquez and we don't give a...." (Lisa)

"What she means to say is we don't care about such things. It's about time we started doing our own thing. We plan to have a human run the domain like the Last Frontier and eventually go off to do our own thing. Oh right... I should probably talk to Julie." (Gabriel)

"You think? So, Jorge. You want to get your ass kicked like back then?" (Lisa)

Jorge couldn't believe what he was hearing. His family were practically Immortal and in just that short time, they had changed drastically.

"Yea, let's do it. We don't have time to waste." (Jorge)
