Chapter 36: Reality (2)

'Damn it! The chokehold isn't fucking sinking in, what the hell is this things neck made out of?' I thought to myself as I will still on the Elf's back trying to choke it to death.

I could hear small minuscule breathes so the chokehold wasn't going to work. I decided to switch tactics and attempted to snap its neck.

I moved my forearm up to the Elf's jaw, once I felt the connection I decided to twist violently. Using my upper body as leverage I was able to twist it so that the Elf's face was looking completely to its left, but it wasn't enough to actually snap it.

It needed a bit more to snap, it seemed the Elf knew this and was clawing away at my forearms rather than trying to pry them off.

"Filthy." An elegant voice lowly sounded out from the Elf I was trying to kill. Hearing him speak wasn't what surprised me, him speaking the human language did.

"How'd you learn the human language fuck face." I spat, hearing this monster speak the human language enraged me. How much information did we let them steal.

I did speak to the man, but I did not stop twisting his neck. I was going closer and closer by the second. He didn't have much time left if this continued.

The Elf didn't respond and out of seemingly nowhere I felt his mana disappear from my body.

His clawing stopped and turned into a monstrous grip on my forearms. I felt every hair on my body stand as I knew I was in extreme danger. The man pried open my forearm just a little and turned his head just slightly enough for our eyes to meet.

His green eyes were like daggers, ready to split me in half anytime they wanted. Those eyes of his then started to glow, I felt the wind building up into one ball right in front of both of his eyes.

I dropped my forehead right in front of the ball and felt the force of a pole hitting my temple.

This caused me to fly back, but I kept my feet on the ground to lessen the distance of me going backwards. Luckily, I was only pushed back a couple of feet, but the impact had done on number on my head.

I felt blood starting to drip down my face, yet my eyes never looked away from his. We were staring at one another waiting for the next move.

'Controlling the elements with your eyes is unheard of, this must be one the special traits with the Elves. I need to stick close to him so that he can't use any destructive abilities. I know I'm going to get a beating, but I just need to find openings and make them count...'

Since his mana is no longer suppressing mine, I enhanced myself with electricity and immediately closed the distance. I tested his reaction speed by throwing a straight right to hit his nose.

The man barely dodged by tilting his head to the right, but my pinky knuckle grazed his cheek.

'Idiot.' I followed through with the punch with my elbow which slammed into the man's nose. Through the connection I could tell that it was broken and he got knocked off balance.

As he was falling backwards, he attempted to throw a punch yet it only hit air. I grabbed his arm that was fully extended and slammed it down on my kneecap which shattered his elbow.

The Elf who was supposed to be a major threat was now on his knees with two broken arms and a broken nose. Yet the man never made a sound and his eyes were still daggers.

I could see his eyes start to glow again, I didn't want another repeat happening, so I instantly jammed two of my fingers into his eyes.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" The Elf screamed out as blood was profusely coming out both of his eye sockets.

'.... Somethings wrong...'

I crouched down and grabbed the Elfs head then snapped his neck. The man's screaming came to an end and as I checked for a pulse nothing came back. I stopped using both energies and took a seat in front of his dead body.

'I knew it... I'm still scared for some reason. This fight was far too easy to make me scared, never once did I gain confidence even though I was winning the entire fight. There has to be something else out there.'

"Why... Why did you kill that man?" A beautiful female voice entered my ears and I felt the fear I had within me increase tenfold.

I didn't even bother taking a combat stance because I knew I would get killed instantly. My instincts were almost never wrong, I knew this woman was in another realm.

'I fucked up big time, although that voice sounds lovely the amount of bloodlust pointed at me is insane. My back is also pointed to her, I guess this is the end for me....'

"Answer me. Don't think anyone will come save you either, so answer my question." The tone of her voice was violent this time, it seemed she really wanted to know before killing me.

As I was staring at the Elfs dead body, I felt a gentle hand placed on my shoulder. Chills went up my back, it seemed I was going to be toured to death.

That gentle hand turned into an iron grip and forced me to completely turn around. Although I was forcibly turned, my eyes never looked up, they stayed glued to the ground.

As I was staring at the ground, I saw a feminine hand come into my view. Her hand grabbed my jaw and forced me to look up.

My killers face was right in front of me, she was of course an Elf. Those pointy ears and fantasy like face gave it away. The lady had purples eyes like an emerald with a mix of green in them.

Her facial features were quite sharp, but the most bizarre part was she looked only a bit older than me.
