Deep in the forests of the mage-kingdom was a secret bandit camp. This bandit camp was seated atop a giant lilypad. Various smaller lilypads had buildings on them. Bandits traveled back and forth on canoes. A large gathering of canoes were headed in a particular direction. Multi-colored lighting, and silver light could be seen at the source.
A silver-clad fist escapes a bandit's backside. He's thrown to the side and another jumps from their canoe onto Caleb's floating platform, a spiritual projection he had learned in hopes of flying before he truly could, it doesn't fly well, but it does float.
Caleb, and Koba were hunting down bandits. These were the Green-frogs-on-a-Liiypad forest bandit secret camp. They had been the ones that were burning down villages, and causing chaos.
Caleb was here to get to the bottom of this, and Koba was looking for something.
Caleb's shocked multiple bandits with his lighting via his left hand. His right hand was occupied smacking away the strikes of two bandits. He had various wounds, and was covered in his own blood. The flow of the direction of the lighting shifted towards him. His wounds began to visibly heal, his eyes took on myriad colors, Koba noted this, Caleb entered a frenzy state. The bandits affected by the lighting had disintegrated. The bandits striking at him found themselves on the opposite end of the spectrum. An endless thunderstorm of strikes diced them up, piece by piece.
The bandits began a full-scale retreat.
When Caleb, and Koba arrived at the large lilypad with the largest number of buildings they found that the bandits had set up a white flag at the end of a little dock. There stood a bandit.
The duo stepped onto the little dock and we're greeted by a one-eyed bird-man, a swallow "Hello great masters, we humbly apologize for the unceremonious welcome. Our master has requested a meeting." He led them to the largest building. Inside there was a portal room.
Caleb did not want to step into the suspicious portal.
Koba had already stepped inside.
Caleb sighs and steps through.

On the other side he sees Koba standing in front of a table. Tea, and snacks are set up. The rest of the “room” is a black platform surrounded by a white void.
"Oh my God, a silver swordsman! In this dimension, on this planet, in my bedroom? Never thought I'd see the day." Angela, a horned, short, curly-haired, rainbow-pupiled, daemoness, with two sharp metal legs, shook her head. She sat at the other side of the table.
Koba crosses his arms. “Wonder gate? I thought you helped people.”
Angela took a sip of her tea, and nodded rapidly. “Mmhmm mmhhmm. Yea, I do, but but but…” She wiggled side to side.
Koba glared. “But but but…”
Angela puffed up her cheeks. “One of the nobles took my knife.”
“So…”
Angela sat up in her chair. “So, that knife controls whether or not I can leave this room.”
“Ah, by the way, are you the only one here?” Koba asks as he points to Caleb, whose eyes had yet to return to normal.
“From the gate?” Angela expresses, and suppresses, surprise on her face the moment she focuses on Caleb. “As far as I know.” She blinks. “Anyways, help me kill a guy, and I will stop burning down villages for him. Whatdaya say?” She gives them a wide grin.
Gary nods, and thanks his disciple for informing him about his developments. Since he doesn't want any help, Gary leaves him to it.
Gary is quite busy. Over the last month eh has not been idle. He has been setting up massive white stone pillars all around the mage-kingdom. These pillars were covered in runes. These runes were generally useless on their own. However, Gary has learned a thing or two about runes, and he already knew how to break an egg. So he’s going to break an extra special egg during an… I'm not making that joke, but yea.
While Gary was busy with that, and Cara was busy with her plan to 1. Gain absolute power 2. Punch Gary in the dick, Caleb was getting closer to being just like his master.
He was in the process of being hunted down like a dog.
Caleb was running through the forest, and he was being chased by assassins after his bounty. He had underestimated the strength of any potential bounty hunters. He wondered how his master hoped to conquer this kingdom with just the three of them, and the masses alone.
Caleb ran as fast as he could until he was cornered. He pulled out a brush. This was an artifact. He swung the brush, and painted clones of his enemies appeared in front of him to defend him. The clones were strong enough to hold off the enemy, but Caleb had nowhere to run to. He’d simply bought himself more time. He was heavily wounded. He pulled out a small copper censer. He lit some incense, and his wounds began to rapidly heal. If he was going to fight to the death he may as well start off in top shape. He began to perform a process he had gained enlightenment for during his last fight.
In quick succession the clones were killed off. Fortunately, Caleb had already fully recovered. He picked up his blade, and took up a defensive stance. The assassins charged at him. Caleb began reflecting their blows. A few managed to strike him. His occasional attacks allowed him to steal their vital energy allowing him to withstand the onslaught just a little longer.
Just as he was wearing out, the wonder took his body, and mind.
A multicolored streak passed through the battlefield, and Gary appeared next to Caleb. The heads of the assassins were seen flying through the air. Caleb thanked his master for saving his life, and passed out.
Gary had only just arrived. He picked up his disciple, and teleported away.
