Gary flew on his flying quartz until he reached the edge of one of the secret islands of the teddy bear clan. He put on his bear costume, as he would need it to blend in. He then set up camp some distance into the relatively small island. Gary had secreted away a manual on the divine art of transmigration. He didn't trust that he would actually receive his reward, the clan masters had been giving each other weird looks. While this sounded like a useful art. Gary might not need it as he'd transmigrated twice already. Although it wouldn't hurt to have some insurance. Escaping the cycle of reincarnation through alternate means would be a lot harder if he suddenly forgot his experiences.
Reading through it it seemed that one first needed to become an ascended master, and sense qi. Then one had to access their inner soul, and modify their soul through a special inscription that would allow one to transmigrate. This process was apparently extraordinarily difficult, and required that one had access to a soul-cleansing resource, which were extremely rare, and could only easily be obtained through the hand of fate. To Gary this sounded like he needed to enter his consciousness and transcribe another rune. He fortunately already had the soul-cleansing wine, and found that runes weren't the hardest thing in the world for him to do. They were somewhat
Gary drank the soul cleansing wine, and immediately felt refreshed. He looked within his sea of consciousness. Back on the beach his soul could be seen floating in the sky. A ray of light was piercing it, the black lightning was exiting his soul and striking all around. THe runes on his soul were beginning to fade. His soul grows larger, and the cube along with it. He decides to start inscribing the rune he'd seen in the book. At first the process seems to be going off without a hitch, but then the black lighting starts striking his soul. The pain is excruciating. He doesn't know whether he should stop or not but powers through it. More black lighting pours out of the black water of the beach. It strikes his soul, and he can feel himself withering away. He powers through it, and finishes the rune. The black lighting coalesses into the rune. The rune detaches from his soul and floats in the air. His sea of consciousness is much changed. The waster is clear, a cool wind can be felt. The beach turns into a small sandy island. Gary opens his eyes.

It's dark out now. He'd started this process at noon, and seems to have lost track of time. He needed to get moving. Gary made his way to the last known location of the sticker book clan disciple. The disciple had been frequenting a hot spring quite regularly. Gary decided that his best course of action was to set up an ambush. He scouted out the hot spring, and found a spot where he could overlook it. The disciple eventually arrived at the hotspring and began to relax.
Gary attempted to shoot him with a crossbow. However, the bolt was stopped by the disciples qi shield. He was an ascendant master.
"Who dares!" Roared the disciple.
In moments teddy bear clan disciples began swarming the area in search of Gary. He ran. It seems that the Chevy clan had been unaware about the disciples recent advancement. Gary felt like a sucker. He should have just joined the strawhats. He assessed his options, and decided that his best course of action was to head towards the devil's heart. It was said that if one could prevent their soul from being consumed it was the best possible hiding place. It was even said that any who could conquer it would receive anything they desired in life. Gary wasn't keen on risking his soul, but that was the closest thing that could save him in this situation.
Gary jumped on his floating quartz and blitzed his way towards the devil's heart. The teddy bear clan disciples, and the sticker book ascendant, on a flying tiger, were hot on his tail. Arrows flitted past his head, and qi bolts from the ascendant came dangerously close to hitting him. He was lucky that the devil's heart was so close to the teddy bear clan's secret island. They were one of the few clans willing to risk settling anywhere near it. As Gary got closer to the heart he could feel a strange compulsion ripping away at his soul. As he looked back he noticed that the regular disciples had all turned back. Only the ascendant still chased him. Gary could see the devil's heart clearly now. It was a giant blood red cloud of gas. Staring at it for too long blurred his vision. He avoided looking at it directly. He turned around once he noticed the qi blasts had stopped. He saw the ascendant running away on his flying tiger. It seems he failed in his assassination. Now all he had to do was turn around and return to the dragonfly clan. Unfortunately he couldn't turn around, he'd been caught in the devil's heart's gravitational pull. Gary was not aware that it had a gravitational pull. His death was slow, slower than it should have been. Gary became another soul lost to the devil's heart.
