Ju-Long was reaching his 1 year old birthday and Fei Long had been fussing about the celebration. While Feng Mian was not keen on big events. As long as there was a cake and noddles for longevity, it was a birthday. In fact, she never celebrated any of her own birthdays until after a year of being acquainted with Fei Long who gave her a surprise dinner in the office. They were take outs, since he was tight on time.

But the latter did not want to relent either, for he really was far too excited playing against Feng Mian! He was almost spending most of his time either with Feng Mian or reading some books to Ju-Long, so he was closer to them than Fei Long who was always busy at work.
Fei Long was also stubborn, having decided to keep Feng Mian off work for a while and that reduced their time together considerably. He was back to his previous persona at work but can finally relax once he would see Feng Mian in their home. He had worked really hard over the weekends to finally spend a day with her, and now a dwarf was stealing his wife in broad day light and in front of him too!
He was not gonna let anyone steal his reward (day off with Feng Mian)!!
"You can play with her later. Just let me have her for today, hm?" He gently negotiated.

"....." Juan-Mao was now reluctant. If he can finally have a computer and one with a super processor, then he might just be able to start applying what he had read in programming a chess game. Then he can practice against an A.I until he can manage to compete with Feng Mian for at least a game.

His doe eyes flickered between Feng Mian and Fei Long who was still hugging the former's waist, while his hair was being ruffled gently. Their actions were really natural, as if showing their little affectionate gestures to one another as something normal.
"Fine.." Juan-Mao finally relented, letting go of Feng Mian's slender hand. "I look forward to it!" And out he went, gently closing the door behind him. His manners would never leave his bones unless he was faced with an idea he badly want proven.
Fei Long gently placed Feng Mian in his embrace, cuddling her from behind as they enjoyed their peace. She looked at his long thick lashes and the small smile on his lips.
She too, smiled as she placed a gentle peck on his eye. She saw his eyes slowly open, immediately searching for her cherry lips and captured them to his own.
The light beam from the bright sun perfectly fell on their back, as if blessing their partnership by the gods above. It was summer and the birds were clamoring all over the grown trees by their house, their loud noises were like melodies reminding people of the beauty of Mother Nature.
Peace is found when one wishes to find it. Only then, can one find fulfillment.

Three years later, Fei Long was resolved on having Feng Mian birth to another child. So he went to seek Dean and Denise's help, this time with a proposal of having Denise become the godfather.
