Months passed since Sahn's arrival on Rodinia. Pandora stepped out of the shower and wrapped herself in a towel. She walked up to the mirror and wrapped her hair in a separate towel. She turned to the side and examined her pregnant belly before drawing a series of symbols on it that made it appear normal. She walked out her bathroom, sat on her bed and began to dress. "Pandora dear do you have a moment?" Her mother's voice called out from behind the door. She double checked to make sure her spell was holding. "Come in." She replied. Mora entered and scanned the room. Pandora watched waiting for her to speak. "I'll be blunt, whatever your planning with Sahn cannot come to pass." Mora walked over and picked up a small embroidered empty jar gifted to her daughter from Sahn, although she wasn't aware of that. "Back when Oasis was sealed I witnessed that spark inside you, and ever since then I've watched it grow hoping it wouldn't." Pandora frowned, "what's it to you?" Mora placed the jar down. "He's an anomaly Pandora! He's not from this world and any... commingling could prove disastrous." Pandora finished dressing and stood up. "So you're what, forbidding me from something? I'm not one of your priests. When I'm not wearing those robes I don't have to follow your precious orders!" Mora smiled at her daughter's attempt at defiance. "No, I'm merely here to inform you that upon his arrival all those months ago I sent Milton to search for those doors Sahn spoke of and I've just heard back that he found them. So I will be sending Sahn home and I hoped that spark hadn't grown so your feelings would be spared when I do." Those words hit Pandora harder than any blow she had received in battle. "Get out!" She ordered her mother. Mora obeyed but stopped to cup her daughter's face in her hand affectionately. Pandora slapped her hand away knowing the gesture was empty. Mora chuckled and left the room, closing the door behind her. Pandora made sure the door was locked. "Fuck fuck fuck!" She said to herself as she frantically grabbed a bag and began to fill it with some of her clothes and belongings. Last she grabbed the jar Sahn had gifted her and stuffed it in the bag before leaping out her window. "So they only work one way," Milton explained to Sahn who was sitting across the table listening intently. "You can only travel back to the world you originated from. You can't go from New world to New world, the text at the temple made it pretty clear." "Damn!" Sahn exclaimed "So I can't get to her from here?" Milton shook his head. "Unless you can find a way to fix the door you destroyed or find someone here to go look in your stead, then I'd say no." "Milton!" Pandora walked up to the table. "I heard you found the doors, where are they?" She asked. Milton shook his head again. "The High Priestess told me not to tell anyone, she wants to escort Sahn there herself." Fueled by impatience Pandora slammed her hand on the table. "I don't have time for this Milton, where, are, the, doors?" "I won't tell you." He replied. A glowing green chain shot from the table and wrapped around Milton's neck. The chain sunk back into the table slamming Milton's head into it. "Last chance Milton, where is it?" Pandora demanded. The chain slowly began to tighten around his neck. Milton struggled in vain to free himself, he gasped for air while trying to pry the ever tightening chain from his neck. "Hurry you won't be able to speak soon." Pandora warned. "Hey, you don't have to do this. We can just go find it with your mother." Sahn suggested placing his hand on her shoulder. Pandora smacked his hand away and that break in her concentration loosened the chain. "We can't Sahn! I didn't tell her, I couldn't. She'll hurt it." Pandora's tone softened. Milton wasn't a fool even under duress he was able to deduce the situation. "East, the temple is nestled in a valley near the centra mountains. But without a vortex it will take you weeks." Pandora released the chain from around his neck. "Thank you and I'm sorry." She apologized. "I've seen desperation turn perfectly reasonable people into monsters, I do not fault you." He replied, rubbing his neck. "Now go. I'll give you two days but then I will have to tell her where to find you." Milton then put his hands on the ground and opened a vortex underneath Sahn and Pandora.
