"Are you saying he's from our bloodline?"
I was astonished to hear this at first. since I had a similar encounter with someone comparable to the guy he described a long time ago It was someone who attacked my mother, destroyed our village, and slaughtered people mercilessly. Even though I couldn't recall his name or what he was up to, he remained a mystery to me to this day. But the cruel sorcerer who didn't think twice about hurting my mother, his face, and his evil voice, was etched in my heart. With my mother's anguish, I couldn't get it out of my head.
A flinch of anger grown inside me, But then went away with a single thought of my mother's wish.
The only thing that got my attention was that, even though we got rid of him, what my grandfather said to me at that moment left me wondering. What if there were more people who betrayed our lineage? What if there were more people like him?
What if they were closer than we thought, just like my grandfather's words that indicated that we may not be able to face them.
"There is more. "
My grandfather turned to one of the other chefs who were behind him for this. It was as if he had consulted the details because the information he was going to tell was even more important,
"Groy, tell them about the events that they need to hear. With everything that needs to be told."
The man my grandfather called out to was like someone older than my grandfather, as was another of the chefs. With his long beard and long stature, he was someone who made you feel how built he was when you walked by him.
But although he looked like a big man, his head was on the floor, like he had lost all hope a long time ago.
So on, he started talking about my grandfather's words.
"This is the so-called dangerous person. His name is Furon.
He is a descendant of a sorcerer, and a student who has learned the basics of magic in the best way that we could teach him. However, he is not so much an ordinary sorcerer. His power, which existed centuries ago with the existence of magic, just as our ancestors could not oppose it, was created along with black magic.
Of course, it was obvious that a number of people would continue to use it for their own purposes, just like the favors we would create, in return for the great power we brought. And it had made many people turn evil or just fall for their "true desires" in their hearts. That's why black magic came into existence, and had grown among them.
But although we discovered black magic, later on, we realized that it was a source of power that was dangerous and never stopped hurting the human body and their sight and vision. We saw that the only thing that brought this power to the people who had it in their body, was death and chaos that they could spread much more to who they had in their life and environment. It was a power that was so enormous to fit, inside a normal human body, it also showed that it was exhibiting behaviors that would push the human body to its limits.

Such a force, that it worked just like a creature with its own will, devouring a person from within. With many consequences, it brought upon our own people, and to those who got fooled by the perfidious assurances of the power. And because of this, we have imposed a rule on our descendants, banned it from every possible lounge, and locked it up well, so that no one could touch this power again.
At first, no one wanted to put an end to the hallucinations that this created in people, to their desires for power, and to the things that this power promised that it could bring to these people. It seemed that it was communicating through its abilities too. But that wasn't only for the ones before, and the ones who were destroyed.
It was also for a boy, that soon realized the true meaning behind it, and learned the power it can bestow if so used correctly.
And very soon, he became aware of black magic. With its full presence, he learned to control it and use it, on the ones he wanted to save, and the ones he wanted to destroy.
And before long, he brought fear upon us. Set the power on a higher level, as superior as our own, and find many ways to bring us down. Just so he could spread the fear between many people and lounges, that once didn't agree with him."
"Furon. I have heard his name many times before, but I was never told that he was somebody this strong. Is he somebody that is stronger than the other epics?"
"We don't know, after using black magic, he got very strong. He had become almost invincible, and with the effort of building up a huge army, he had reached a level even higher than the power that our people could reach.
He was even stronger than us.
However, black magic was attracting him too.
Towards all the dark plans in his heart. Towards all those bad thoughts and justifications for subversion. Because so, he violated our rules, along with his evil intentions, and gave us only the option to make a decision and exiled him from our lineage.
"Everything happened because of something that he hold anger against, or something he wanted to conquer."
And soon he was already declared epic. More than any strong person who could have been nominated for this seat with him, he had quickly passed even to this position, and had already planned what he had to after he took the throne that belonged to him.
He had a big grudge against us for exiling him, and he used creatures of the shadow lineage to manipulate them, and use their easily changeable nature, to point their destructive nature toward our people and our home.
He attacked us. This forest. And he made us play like trapped mice just for fun. For all these years."
"Can't you do something about him?"
"He has grown stronger than before. And we're getting old." He then shook his head, as his eyes rolled to another place with regret of the past, and the emotions that settled on his face, "There are quite solid people behind him. So it would be nearly impossible to even come up with moves and not let them read what we are going to do, just like a simple book."
These words would have Hiroshi wondering about who did this, and he seemed to want to hear who they were behind it.
"From the looks of it, this doesn't seem like a single man's job. If he wants to gather up an army, there must be someone who he can do his dirty work."
However, although I was waiting for an answer to Hiroshi's question, Babu couldn't make sense of what my grandfather said, and he had a more confused expression than all of us.
It was like he was even more confused than we were.
"I thought epics hated each other. How they can even work together if one of them wants to kill the other?"
