Ryuu was right. We all knew and couldn't get along with the fact of Epics raiding many places and killing many people, and would have to play our moves bigger every time if we wanted to defeat them. But acting with such speed and moving without knowing anything and according to no information, would be the worst move that we could have done to let ourselves die, before something we could do.
It would be just to go up and give our lives after the long struggle we have been through.
So we all just put our heads down and accepted his opinion.
And after that, Ryuu asked more questions,
"I understand your decision, Majesty. But who is the fifth king? If he is somebody important, please tell us."
The king sighed. After all, a discussion could have just between us that could have lasted a very long time and come to different conclusions. However, fortunately, we once again remembered what we had to do thanks to Ryuu so that the King could give us other information and complete the necessary preparations.
And looking at him once more, he continued to explain,
"My elder brother is a king who became the head of the fifth kingdom after the death of Yores. He was elected at the request of the people and managed to wield more power than any other kingdom. But no one knows how it happened. He doesn't usually communicate much with kingdoms. And there are not many people who can have power in such a way."
"At first, you told us about how much these assholes are getting stronger. And then how we will play a role here will make changes. Which is both half-assed explanations, as well as now you're telling us about how the damn targets ahead may contain dangers and you don't know how they got them."
He then added,
"And you are even telling that there aren't many of them. How many other people do they have anyway?"
The place that we stood, had become very tense. It was as if the question Hiroshi asked was a huge insult or something that should not have been heard. Because the expression on Ryuu's face had taken on the tensest shape it could be, causing him to clench his fist angrily. As if he had moved to another dimension in his thoughts, he was attracting the attention of all of us and causing us to look at him with our mouths open. Obviously, I thought we would freeze for a long time, but Ryuu said something.

"He... is someone would pay. A cost that is bigger than is thirst."
But he shook all of the feelings, and let Hiroshi continue talking taking a deep breath,
"Epics don't work together. If we get the approval of the three kingdoms, we can attack each one one by one."
"Unfortunately we can't do that. Even if you collect three whole kingdoms, you will not be able to defeat them. The forces they have are at such a difficult stage of being able to win that they are able to maintain their positions where they have been unbeaten for exactly eighteen years. Too many people who think and act like you have come and gone. Of course, you have followed a different path and achieved difficult things. But this is not such an easy goal or achievement.
The fourth epic, the son of Yores, who happens to be my nephew, was the big reason for this, and I've seen what the fourth epic can do. I personally witnessed it with my own eyes.
I saw him.
Someone who has quite a lot of strength and greatness, opening the doors of anger and cruelty even in front of desire. With my brother's support, and with his creature, he had the potential to take over entire kingdoms on his own. And just for his own enjoyment, not doing what he has in mind, he feeds himself with the fear of the people even far away from him."
Then he looked at us and finished his speech with a half-scared expression,
"That's why we need more. More people than we need."
"Then why doesn't he do it? Why he doesn't take over other kingdoms?"
"Because of the dragon lineage, which is one of the most powerful lineages that is currently reigning. They have been at war for a long time because of the frustration they have experienced in the past. It was a very frustrating resource for him, as his battles were of great size, and he chose to focus on them alone. Another reason is a rumor, but it has strong enough evidence to be true."
"What could be much more important than that?" I said, finally opening my mouth from the shock of all the things I have heard, and still locked in the little story that the king told, just as the others around me.
And the King, replied to my question just after with a much more serious tone,
"They say that the person who made the big wound on his back, is the fifth epic. Because of this, my nephew is gathering the strength to attack again. All of his anger, pouring down on the fact of getting revenge, he sees no other justification for letting this go. No matter what happens to him."
"And how does he do that?" said Hiroshi.
"He educates himself like his father. He is training himself to the limit of the physical limit he can have, as if he will not carry any obstacles mentally, and is trying to erase the concept of fear from his head. In addition, he cooperates with his epic in the third kingdom to strengthen the army of soldiers and continues the waiting process for his goal, collecting as many soldiers and ammunition as possible, spreading his power and fearfulness to people from moment to moment. That is, to eliminate the dragon lineage and declare mobilization to other kingdoms."
He then sighed once more and said,
"That's why he'll have to be stopped as soon as possible."
"How are we going to stop him?" Ryuu said, with his eyes not closing out of focus.
"I don't know the answer to that either. But time will tell, and will show you the way."
