Mayhem In The Town (Babu)

Mayhem In The Town (Babu)

While we were in the basement discussing our situation, the conversation quickly got out of hand. Hiroshi was strangling the prince in front of him for something he said. The elite soldier was too precious to Hiroshi. We all watched in shock as Ryuu intervened and separated them. It was not our intention to say that Hiroshi was wrong, but his behaviour was unbecoming of the Hiroshi we knew.

Hiroshi stormed out without saying a word in anger. We called after him, but he ignored us. Seeing Hiroshi leaving in a hurry, Lezlie turned to Ryuu and said, "Ryuu, we can't just let him leave." Ryuu said, "I'll go after him. You guys wait here."

Ryuu always thought of us first, but this time things didn't go as planned. As he was about to leave, we heard loud footsteps coming from upstairs. At first we didn't understand what was happening, but then Shou pointed upstairs and said, "Upstairs." It was clear that someone was upstairs.

Ryuu stayed where he was and let Hiroshi go. He couldn't keep up with him now. The problem now was how to get out of here. "Get down!" Ryuu shouted at us over what he had heard, at that moment we heard guns being loaded upstairs. Some of us hid in the corners while others ducked under things for protection.

When the gunfire started, I couldn't see through the smoke, all I could see was the panic on people's faces. I bowed my head and waited for it to stop. When it finally did, Ryuu and Shou sprang into action and charged towards the soldiers upstairs.

I stood up again and pulling myself together, I lifted the piece of wood in front of us and shouted, "Come on! Let's get out of here!" And so we made our escape.

Although I was a fat panda, I was moving surprisingly fast. I squeezed through the hole lined with boards and quickly got ahead of the others. Since the other streets were full of soldiers, we ran uncertainly towards the north. As we ran, we fought with the soldiers who blocked our way.

Since they were the king's soldiers, our main goal was not to kill them. They were not bad people, they were just following bad orders. That's why I fought with a stick instead of using my sword. While Lezlie and the prince were fighting with the soldiers on my right side, Mıla was fighting on her own on my left side.

Suddenly we saw the roof of the house we were in collapse. Two figures appeared in the sky - Shou and Ryuu - fighting like mad, one after the other, continuing from the rooftops, neutralising the soldiers on the hill.

They were faster than me, but I managed to keep up with them. Ryuu warned us, shouting, "Don't kill the soldiers!" "There are too many of them!" Mıla shouted back.

I wasn't sure if Ryuu had a plan but as usual he was deep in thought. Suddenly he spoke up "Keep heading north. Shou and I will clear a path." And with that he and Shou sprang into action, fighting off soldiers and clearing the way for us to escape.

I used the end of my stick to deliver blows to the soldiers that, while not fatal, would leave them with a headache in the morning. I had never seen weapons like the ones they used before. The weapons in this kingdom were more advanced and of better quality. I could see that clearly so I was extra careful not to get hit.

I had to be quick to take down the three men in front of me. I threw my club like a boomerang and followed up with a kick. Lezlie used her magic to shield herself from above and counter those near her. The prince was doing an impressive job with the nunchaku in his hand. It was as if the weapon was speeding him up.

When I looked at Mila she was using her voice since there was no water around. The vibrations she created were not only inaudible but also immobilized those in front of her. I couldn't even see Ryuu and Shou up above because they were moving too fast. All I saw were soldiers falling to the ground.

We were close to completing the street and thought that if we made it out of town we could lose our pursuers. I think that's what Ryuu was thinking too. Supporting my friends we picked up speed and ran as fast as we could.

I blocked the guns aimed at us while Lezlie launched a surprise attack on the soldiers behind me. Just when we thought we had the upper hand we were faced with a surprise at the end of the road. At this distance it was impossible for me to stop them. They could easily finish us off if they got close. Our eyes searched for an escape but we had run into a dead end.

Cannons were fired and we were directly in their line of fire. They could explode and hit us at any moment but Ryuu and Shou intervened. Ryuu leaped from the roof onto the head of a cannon, not only lifting it into the air but also changing its direction. The large cannon seemed to float as Ryuu used his shoulder to knock two others on the right off course.

But two cannons on the left were still aimed at us and as they fired it seemed inevitable that they would hit us. There was no time to run - everything was happening in seconds. Just then Shou stepped in front of us and with one swift motion used his sword to slice two incoming cannonballs out of the air.

He swung his sword to our side and closed it behind the cannonballs, not only cutting them in half but also destroying the cannons themselves. We couldn't believe our eyes - our path was now clear.
