The moment the mysterious man said goodbye and everyone suddenly got teleported around the entire first floor, life changed immediately. Everyone was scattered into forests, ruined cities, abandoned villages, and many parts of the world that no one even knows yet, simply because no one has escaped from it.
Life at the beginning was harsh. There was no food, no people around, and your mind was full of confusion. It didn’t take long until many found others, they formed parties, which turned into groups, guilds, cities, and then countries.
In the three years that humans have arrived inside the tower, to survive was to die. But luckily, they were immortal. Even if they sucked or had no knowledge of how to get food or make any shelter, they… didn’t need it.
Many people starved for months, a lot just stayed in one spot and cried, and even more went crazy. Of course, those that are just lost cause weren’t really important. There were a lot of others, or I guess, enough people to thrive in this new world.
“And one of them is the country far north of here, we escaped because, they simply were far too manipulative.” Said Mark under the night sky.
“Oh… what’s the name?” Tian asked.
“The Empire.”
“Wow, what a cliche name.”
“I know right.”
The two sat on the opposite end of the open area. A few meters away from Crazel and Kailey, who were asleep on the ground.
“Are you sure you don’t want to sleep?” Tian asked.
“No, no, it’s okay, I’m used to it, when I arrived here, I was so paranoid. And well, you should at least feel like you have company.”
Tian held back his tears. Though some still fell his cheeks. “You’re kind Mark, you are really kind.”
“Well… I wouldn’t say I’m kind… I’m just… a coward.” His voice lowered and he slowly looked down and played with his nails until Tian smacked his back.
He chuckled and said, “Don’t be so down. I don’t know what past you got there, but who the fuck cares. In a world where time is irrelevant, and death is insignificant, past is past. You have infinite time to redeem yourself. So what if you did something wrong before? Be like those cultivation people and kowtow for ten years. I mean if you murdered my family it might take a thousand, but you're immortal, that’s the thing. Numbers still exist… and we… defy that.” He clenched his fist and smiled with his lips in.
“Hahaha! Kind of too long that it takes the lessons and buries them down, but thank you Tian… you have some talent with words, you just… need to cut it when you need to.” He smiled
“Tsk, see I’m a bad writer.”
Mark smacked his back, “Don’t be so down. I don’t know what past-”
“Oh shut up!” He laughed.
“Hahaha!”

“Good morning sleepy heads,” Tian said to the waking Crazel and Kailey. “Now that I was with Mark the entire night, I see some good chemistry with you two. So synchronized.” He clapped and crouched down.
“Oh… it’s too early for jokes man.” Crazel rubbed his face.
“I’m not joking, and Kailey seems to agree with her silence.”
“It’s just… just, I just woke up and what’s with your get up?” Her eyes squinted and blinded by the sun.
“Well, what a good topic to change into. I’ll let you have that. Well, this attire?” Tian wore actual proper clothing. Leather jacket with leather pants but with no boots and holes throughout the clothes.
“Mark and I decided to visit found some hanging clothes and I stole them!” He laughed.
“Well, I wish I could be there, so sad I didn’t see it,” Kailey said.
“That doesn’t sound like you,” Tian said.
“It does, well anyway,” Crazel yawned and stood up.
“Thank God you stood up, that morning wood was just bothering me.”
Crazel immediately covered his pants and his cheeks turned slightly red. He stood up and walked into the forest in silence.
“Really match in heaven.”
“That didn’t even come from anywhere.”
“Well, stand up there, you have to get up soon enough.”
“Ahhh!” Kailey groaned. “There’s not even anything to do! Leave me alone…”
“Oh well,” Tian turned around and started to walk away.
“Wait! Don’t leave me! Ah!” She reached her hand out and soon gave out. “Eh never mind, I’m not in the mood.” She closed her eyes and went back to sleep.
Tian walked back into the forest. There was a stick and a few pebbles on the ground. He sat down and picked one rock and another that was a little sharp. Then he began to bang them against each other.
He was given enough materials to make a spear, but as much as Tian wanted a sword, that type of technology was far too advanced for them. “I wonder if magic exists.” He rambled.
But Tian didn’t decide to make a spear, that type of weapon was just not his type.
Two stones banged and banged, it lasted for hours until Tian managed to make a sharp-edged stone.
“You’re not going to sleep again?” Mark said behind him.
“Oh hello Mark,” Tian looked up. “I didn’t even noticed it was night already…”
“Hahaha!” Mark laughed.
Tian banged the stones one more time. “This takes a long time doesn’t it?” He asked.
The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
“How long do you think it took us to make three spears?”
“Hm… 2 days?”
Mark shook his head left and right, “No, it took us a month. There were a lot of failed products like broken tips, that’s why it’s so hard, and um… be careful, you might break that stone.” He pointed at the sharped rock. “Anyway, I’ll sleep now, have fun.”
“Good Night!”
“Good… night.” Mark went back to the campfire.
The whole night passed and Tian did manage to break the sharp stone he was crafting. It wasn’t meant for a weapon but for a faster chisel, but Tian’s strength was something he was never really able to control.
Morning came and nothing changed. He just finished making a sharp stone and Mark was back to talk to him. “Want to go hunting with us?”
“Hunting? As in… dears?” Tian slowly turned his head as it vibrated. His mouth gasped and smiled big. He bobbed his arms up and down while panting.
“Ugh…” Mark was slightly disturbed by the desperate act of being cute from such an old fat man. His body shivered for a second and he answered, “Yes, it will also allow you to gain experience… so…”
Tian stood up and dropped his stones. “I don’t have a weapon though?” He formed a kissing lips and sucked it.
Mark shivered once again from the sight, “Do you really need a weapon with those stats?”
Tian scratched his small, uneven beard, “Yeah…” He nodded. “I don’t need a weapon,” His head nodded faster and faster. “Let’s go!”

The Forest, more known as “The Maze Of Trees”, is part of the “Five Untolds”. A forest with an unknown end, ranging from the start… to who knows where?
The country “The Empire” is a station just outside of this forest, and if you are a little bit inside, you will find a trove of many different creatures.
“It has only been a day and the vines have already grown so much.” Said Mark as he swung his spear, cutting the overgrown grass, leaves, and vines.
As they walked deeper into the forest, they entered another tree-less area, filled with deers.
Crazel blocked Tian with his arm from moving any further and Mark covered Tian’s mouth from making any weird orgasmic noises.
Mark pointed to to right and they started to walk slowly. Tian took a few seconds to read the room, but with a few hic-ups from here and there, they reached a place with a single deer separated from the pack.
I really should have asked why we are hiding this much. There are so many deers we can hunt! He complained in his head. His eyes gloomed down and his mouth… well, blocked.
Mark and Crazel looked eye to eye and gave signals to each other. Crazel left the two and circled to the other side of the deer.
Mark went closer to Tian’s ear and whispered. “Don’t move from here and just watch.” Tian didn’t want to follow whatever boring direction the two were asking for, but he really had no choice.
Even with his insane tendencies and energy that exuded far beyond his body, if he fucked up here, he would be alone again.
Crazel revealed his hands up behind a tree and gave a thumbs up to Mark. He took a few breaths in; counted to three and ran. It screeched and started to run in the opposite direction.
Due to the commotion, the other deers all started to run away and separate from each other. But that wasn’t the main event, Mark chased the deer, and as it lept up a bush, Crazel stabbed its sides and Mark landed another blow from behind.
“And that’s how you catch a deer Tian!” Mark yelled.
Crazel opened his status screen and said, “Guess you got the experience point this time.”
“You got rusty man,” Mark commented.
Tian ran toward the two, “Don’t tell me… is that it?” He asked.
“Well, tomorrow we will let you, but we just got lucky one was separated today,” Crazel answered. He retracted his spear and started to carry the deer.
“What?”
“Okay, let me explain this to you Tian, hunting in this world is very different than what common sense may intel,” Mark said. “Now let’s go back as I tell you.”
Animals, or more exactly, deers. Hunting inside the tower was a weird thing, first of all, anything the size and smaller than a pig doesn’t give any experience points. Also, deer just give one singular point to whoever killed it.
Through a lot of trial and error, also known as learning through the experience of death, many had learned how dangerous hunting for food was.
Deers for example, based on that interaction, looked like weak creatures who runs whenever any unknown creature released animosity toward them. But that is not true, that only happens when they are alone.
Once a herd sees you show hostility towards them, they first look around and when they see a lot of their own species around, you would be lucky to not be treated like food and take a whole month to regenerate. You’re even luckier if you didn’t go insane from that pain.
“But, then why not just go fight them? You have the weapons… and, we are all immortal.” Tian asked.
The two turned quiet from the question. Mark looked down ashamed of himself, and Crazel looked even more disappointed in himself.
“Tian… I know what you have gone through. We all listened to it many times… and we thought about it more.” Mark said.
“I even got a dream about it last night,” Crazel added.
“What are you trying to say?” Tian asked.
Mark stayed quiet and looked at Crazel for an answer, he nodded and said, “We’re not like you Tian… we’re cowards.”
