4. Forest Life(1)

The sun had gone down until Tian hopped out of the tiger’s mouth. He was inside a cave and as he expected, the tiger was actually dead. Though the reason on why such a big animal died is a mystery, Tian was far too happy to think too much about it.

“Ahh…” Tian smiled with his mouth open and eyes closed as he wiggled his head around. He walked slightly out of the cave and into the dark forest. “Well… I got to see the sun… but my tears covered it ~” He emphasized with a curved position. “Tears…” Tian blinked two times and swallowed his saliva. “Ehhh…”

Tian shoved his hand off the forest and crawled back into the cave. “So…” He tapped his feet. “What do I do now?”

He laid down on the ground beside the tiger. His entire body was naked and his butt touched the graveled floor, “Ah, that feels… so uncomfortable…” Tian stayed still and completely laid his whole body on the floor.

“Ughh… you know, if I think about how horrifying my life had been, I didn’t think that the ground would hurt as much.” With a last groan, he stood up and walked over just to the edge of the grass, and laid down again. “That feels so much better… my little boy kinda itches though, but it’s good…”

As soon as he closed his eyes his entire body felt relief, and fell asleep immediately. For the first time since coming to this world, Tian, slept like a baby.

“Wahhh!” He stretched his body till his right reached the stone floor. Tian wiped the gravel off his belly and flipped to his left. “Ah…” His fat stomach was squished to the ground. He positioned his hands and feet and jumped up.

“Well, I don’t know what to- Ahhhh!!!” Tian yelled with his face full of joy. “It’s the sun!!!!” He yelled at the top of his broken lungs. “Well, now that I have seen the sun my entire life has completely changed, now I was about to say I need to get clothes first.”

“Though it will be impractical if I just die…” He whispered.

“Hm…” Tian stared at the red-colored grass that awfully outlined his rested body. “Now why is there bloo-” He looked down at his opened chest and then laughed.

“Hahaha!” He inhaled.

“Hahahahaha!!” He inhaled.

“Hah….!!!!!” He inhaled one last time and croaked his mouth.

“Hehe, okay that was funny, I don’t know why blood got out though, I’m pretty sure it just stayed on my body until it regenerated. But.” Tian leaned his body and his back cracked.

“It does seem to just be dried color so I guess it was just colored… hmmm… mysteries… my head ain't fit for this.” He stood straight back up and pushed his chest up with his hands behind his back.

“Anyway, I don’t really know what to do… so forest I go! To find the place I arrived at! Some sort of village or something!” Tian ran to the forest and never looked back.

A giant bird landed at the cave and stared at the dead tiger. His beak was as large as a cave and just barely allowed it to snatch the tiger's body. He retracted his beak and threw the tiger up into the sky and caught it. “Kaa!!!!”

The bird flapped his wings. The trees tickled the bird's wings. With one strong wave of his wings down to the ground, the trees were all smashed and buried under the ground. The bird flew back up the sky and looked for more food.

“What was that loud screech?” Tian looked back up at the sky and saw a giant thing. “A dragon? Shit, my eyes can’t see it clearly enough…” He huddled back behind a tree. The bird flew out of his vision and he walked out of the tree.

“Phew! That was close, I don’t wanna be some rock food again…”

“You know… cause I am immortal, and like a rock, I’m hard to digest?”

“Hahaha! It’s a good joke…”

“Ahhh! I’m talking to myself again!”

Tian shook his head and smacked it three times, afterward he scratched his stomach multiple times; though this was unrelated.

He headed down deeper into the forest; plucked some leaves and pulled some trunks as he jumped around.

The forest was not that lively, it showed no animals, not even a little bit of bugs. But it’s trees were not that green either to show that it was healthy.

Tian had fun as he tried to climb trees though failed as his stomach and chubby arms got in the way. “Man, this time, I have to lose this stomach… what if I just cut it off? Hmmm… but if I think about it deeper it would just regenerate back to how it was previously.”

“So then… can I never be fit?” Tian had decided to squat down to the ground and ducked walk his way into the forest. With his hands pulled on his ears, he waddled down the ground, “Ow.” He pulled his ears off.

“Well, that leaves just walking… while I’m squatted.” Tian held the piece close to his ear to make it regenerate faster. Now with both pressure on his thighs and arms, though he didn’t feel much pain due to the endurance he had built up from the acidic bath, he was satisfied.

The forest wasn’t as small as Tian had expected, with no encounters and nothing but endless trees, night had arrived and he had no choice but to sleep. “But…” Yet, with the sky colored black with the sparked white, he decided to continue.

His body felt fully awake, it wasn’t tired nor was his mind, it was clear and full of vigor.

Days passed and his constant training that soon created a noticeable enough pain had to stop. The reason was rather simple, Tian was hungry. He hadn’t kept much count of the days that had passed, though for him it was roughly around five days already since he walked into the forest.

“Just why is there no animal? Am I finally left with no choice but to eat my own flesh? Aww, men…” As he drooled over his own body, as fate would allow it, a single sound escaped in his direction.

“Sound! Oh god! You might think that’s stupid but I’ve heard nothing but my feet for days!” Tian yelled and stood up as he ran toward the direction. He couldn’t decipher the noise but it was just one huge flap and even if it was the wind, that could only mean that the endless forest that didn’t even have wind had ended.

Soon his eyes reached a blue colored area that was placed on the ground. “Oh god, that’s water!”

“Water, water, water, water, water, wter, wter, wter, wta, wta, wta, wta, wta, wta, wta!” Tian’s head bobbed in excitement as he recited the word “water” As fast as he could. “Wahhhhh!!!!!TER!!!!”

Tian scraped his feet through the sharp bushes and the hard trees. As soon as he got out of the trees he immediately jumped into the water.

He submerged inside and opened his eyes to the wonderful fishes that swam across the pond. He inhaled water like it was nothing. Tian swam to a fish and opened his mouth. The fish swam closer to him and entered his mouth.

With one short dive into the water, he got back up with a half-full stomach. “Ah… fish… I haven’t ea-” Tian choked and struggled with his throat that had a live fish in it. Soon the fish struggled enough to cut his esophagus and escaped through the hole in his heart.

“Awww…” His arms fell down and his smile turned upside down. Tian stared at the water with his lower lip flipped outward.

After a few minutes, he jumped up and turned back. He plucked out branches from the trees and collected them to the ground.

Tian collected enough until he couldn’t spot any more grass from the middle of the pile. “Okay, that is good enuff!”

He sat down beside the pile of branches, “Now how do I make a fire? If I remember correctly, which I’m not the best at remembering as I don’t even remember my own name anymore…”

Tian bit his lips and squinted his eyes. He blew bubbles out his mouth, “Tian… I almost forgot, anyway! Fire!”

He picked up a single stick from the pile. “Now if I remember something basic from science, I just need to make enough “Friction” whatever that is, and I will have a fire!” He raised his arms and the stick left his hand. “Oh shit, anyway.”

Tian picked up two sticks and he started to rub each other like a cross. He rubbed the two sticks as fast as he could until a little bit of dark char appeared and the stick broke apart. “...”

He inhaled and exhaled, “Tsk, well I failed… hmm… if I remember correctly there is always some type of bow people just pull to make fire but I’m not that prepared nor smart so… should I just not cook the fish?”

Tian looked down on his piles of branches. He turned left to the trees, then right to the water. A small pause and a few taps of his saliva, he stood up with his hands beside his waist.

“Hm…” He wiggled right and left, walked past his piles of branches, and entered the water. “Nothing happened here… nothing… now what was I doing again? Oh yeah! I was going to eat raw fish!”

Tian jumped down to the water after a small laugh. After a few hours of ventures deep into the water.

From the school of fishes that scattered as soon as he arrived. “Get back here!”

To a close escape of fishes. “Not today fishes!”

From some that even attacked back. “You are dead to me!”

To rages that were fueled by the slippery body of a fish. “Fuck! It was in my hands! You bitch!”

And luckily, some good things too. “Ooo… big catch.”

After a whole day of struggles and a stomach that got distracted by a fun exercise, Tian had gathered a bunch of fish on a small piece of a hole that he had dug.

“You know what I wonder?” He slapped his stomach. “I have supposedly starved, but how is my stomach still so big? Fuck! Ahh!!!!!!”

“Ehh, fine I guess, I’ll work on it after I get some food.” Tian placed his hand inside the hole and just plucked out a fish that he could grab out the hole.

He picked up a stick from the ground and pierced it from the mouth to it’s tail, just to secure it in place.

“With this, you can’t escape you slippery bitches.” The fish died immediately as soon as it’s entire body had renovation of a new pole. Though its body still moved for a few seconds.

“Man that freaked me out, well anyway, it’s night, I’ll finish you.” He tapped the head of the fish, “Then I’ll go to sleep.”

Tian ate half the body of the fish with disregard for the sharp bones that it had. “Ow.” He nonchalantly reacted to the many spikes in his throat. “I’ll just pluck it out tomorrow morning.

Tian finished the whole stick and threw it to the pond along with the bones. He then laid down and looked up to the sky. “Ah… another sleep, that was a tiring few days, now onto(!) the(!) next… one…” His voice lowered and his eyes closed. Once again, he fell asleep instantly.
