7. The Crew

“I’m not joking here you bitch!” Mark clutched his spear tighter.

“Kailey is clear! No problems with her clothes!” Yelled Crazel

“Man, your… inspecting her clothes? Sounds disgusting from men that are just wearing leaves around their waist.” Tian took a bite of his fish and chewed.

“Sais the man who’s naked!”

“Hm… fo-g-at ab-at d-at.” His mouth was filled with fish.

“Shut up!”

“Just kill him!” Crazel stood up and started walking.

Mark gritted his teeth and stared at Tian’s eyes. His hand shook and his legs shivered.

“Ahh!” Crazel spun his spear. “This is why you can never live without me.” He shoved his spear between the two and pushed Mark with the wooden part. “Move aside.”

Mark turned around and closed his eyes.

“Any last word bitch?”

“Um… thanks for the fire?” Tian finished his fish.

“What?” The answer took aback Crazel, but nevertheless, he aimed for the man’s chest and stabbed.

Tian looked down at the spear and dropped his stick.

“Heh, is it painful little kid?” Crazel smirked. He stepped on the spear and stomped it down to the wood beneath his butt; blood splattered around the floor.

“Ow… well that was certainly painful.” Tian nodded. “Wow, ow(!), damn, well, ummm, I’m gonna cook more fish…” He turned around and tried to stand up; he fell to the ground and his body went into a split. But soon, his blood flew back to his sliced body and made a web.

“What?” Crazel couldn’t even retract his spear. He was flabbergasted.

Mark turned back to the fat man with spider clothes in his sliced body, struggling to stand up.

“He… didn’t even yell. There was… not even… anything? Anything? Wha-! Wha-!”

Even Mark was left speechless. His spear lowered itself on its own. The two watched as the man stood straight back up with his body slowly patching up.

“Oops…” Some fish dropped down to the ground from Tian’s stomach. He leaned back down and more dropped out.

“Aww men, oh well, you guys want some fish too?” He looked back to the two with wide-open mouths and unblinking eyes. “Well, if I can guess anything with those big mouths, I say you do?” He wiggled his pointed finger and a smirk on his face.

Tian walked along to the forest, where some sticks lay around. “I know you two tried to kill me, but you know, I don’t really care. As you two are also probably immortals, murder, as a whole, doesn’t even have a meaning anymore.”

He leaned back down and gathered as many sticks as he could; hugging them as he walked back. “Am I right? Or am I not?”

Tian went back to the campfire and dropped the sticks down. “Now, I didn’t do anything to the lady. I’m not a creep… well, maybe when I was on earth, but… ehhh, after a long time without any of those sensations, if you know what I mean.” He smirked and moved his eyebrows up and down.

“It just… I feel like I am asexual. Which by the way, is my favorite sexuality.” He picked up one fish and stuck them to a stick one after the other.

“So umm, can you guys talk? Cause I feel like I am alone again but this time, I’m not talking to myself anymore… well at least I don’t think I am.” He drained his saliva from his mouth. Tian bit his lips and placed a stick above the campfire all while staring at the two.

“Just drop it Crazel.” Mark placed his spear on the ground.

Crazel’s wide-open eyes slowly closed. He drooped his spear and bowed down. “I’m sorry for trying to kill you. Which I guess as you said, is more of just attacking instead of killing.”

“Hehehe, well now that we are on the same side, do you guys have some spare… um.., leaves?”

“Oh well this doesn’t fit me, so I guess nah, my dick is small enough that it doesn’t bother anyone right?” He threw the leaves behind him.

Tian sat on the log as he waited for the fish to cook. The other two both sat opposite of Tian.

“I… really am sorry.” Crazel bowed.

“It’s not really anything hehe.” Tian scratched his back hair.

“Umm… Tian.” Said Mark.

“Yes?”

“Do you… know… how long you have been in this world?”

“Huh? Well, no, I mean I knew I spent like a month in the forest to get here.” Tian stood up and flipped the fish.

“Then… this might come as a surprise… but… it’s been three years…” Mark bit his lips with his hands closed.

Crazel looked up with his eyes closed before Tian could answer.

“Oh, well, oki.”

“Huh?” he immediately lowered his head back down. “Are you not even slightly sad? I mean, you said you were trapped inside a tiger’s stomach? It has been years. Are you…”

“Nope, I don’t really care.” Tian picked the stick up and handed it to Mark. He hesitated for a little due to the current conversation and the awkward atmosphere, but the more he rejected it, the more awkward it was.

“But, do you not miss anyone on earth? Like anything, anyone? Your family?!” Crazel conveyed.

“Well…” Tian sat down on the ground and used the log as a backrest. “I mean…” He projected in his mind the picture of his mother and sister. His face gloomed but it didn’t last long, “...it’s probably better if I’m gone, not like I was of any use.” He smiled.

Mark couldn’t even take a bite of the fish despite never having eaten one for years. The only thing in his mind was the suffering the man in front of him had gone through. To continuous death for years until you had no choice but to endure every pain… it’s understandable if he doesn’t even want to live anymore.

“Are you… okay?” Mark blurted out. “Oh, that’s a stupid question sorry…”

“No it’s okay, I’m okay! I mean look at me, Crazel’s slice is almost completely healed, I mean I really heal fast now. I didn’t even notice it.” Tian flipped the current fish above the fire.

“I got it,” Crazel interjected.

“Oh, thanks. Well, anyway…” Tian smiled genuinely again and stepped back to his log. He sat down, spread his legs out, his hands tight together above his knees, and benched down.

“Who is the lucky guy?” He asked.

“What lucky guy?” Mark asked. He finally took the courage and took a bite of the fish.

“You know what I mean,” Tian smirked.

“Oh… are you talking about…” Crazel pointed his eyes to his back.

“What are you doing?” Mark looked behind him and he finally understood. “Oh… no, no, no, neither of us are dating Kailey.”

“What!” Tian yelled. “Such a beautiful fine maiden who you two had definitely protected as she still has some clothes, though ripped here and there, but compared to you two with exposed six packs if I may add… which I want to get to later. But still… if I was as handsome as you two. I would hit.”

“Hahaha!” Crazel laugh.

Mark just snickered.

“What are you laughing at?” Tian was perplexed.

“If you knew… how her personality really is… no you don’t…” Crazel nodded his head while clicking his tongue.

“Yeah, yeah, definitely not.”

“Well then are you two dating?” Tian added an unnecessary joke.

“What, no!” Mark yelled.

“Hahaha! Just cause we ain’t dating the only women out of us three, doesn’t mean we’re gay.”

“Mark definitely sounds like he’s onto something…” Tian smirked and continued to tease.

“Ugh… what happened?” Kailey blinked her eyes until it became clear. The backs of Crazel and Mark sat on the log to her right. She instantly remembered why she fainted and pulled herself up to the log. “Did you guys get-” She stopped, seeing the man at the other side?

“Oh, Kailey! You’re awake.” Said Mark.

The two reached out one hand to Kailey, though perplexed for a few seconds, “Morning Kailey! Sorry for earlier,” she pulled herself up with the two’s hands and stood staring at the man.

“This is Tian, I think he had already introduced it a lot, but considering it’s you, you probably never acknowledged it.” Said Crazel.

“Did you guys, ughh…” She reacted to his sliced body. “Did… you win? I don’t get it. What’s going on?”

“Well, he's part of the gang now honey.” Said Crazel.

“I don’t know anything about a gang, but yeah.”

“Awww, you guys treat me as a gang member?” Tian sniffed twice and rubbed both his eyes.

“What?”

“Oh just sit down drama queen.” Said Mark.

Based on Mark’s entire chilled personality, that remark ordered Kailey’s body to move on its own.

“Sorry…” She sat beside Crazel, away from the vacant log.

Crazel sighed and Tian began to talk again.

“So… Kailey… I’m sorry.” He bowed.

“No, no, you did nothing wrong… I just fainted cause of what you did.”

The response took aback Tian. “I didn’t expect that answer.” He leaned to the side and pointed at her with his eyes switching from Crazel to Mark.

“What does that supposed to mean!” Kailey yelled.

“Hahaha!” The two laughed.

The four talked for far longer than necessary. Mainly because Tian, as shown by his constant bickering with himself, was one hell of a talkative type. Many topics appeared though a lot was just Tian’s many, and many, and MANY attempts to ship any of the three.

But there was one topic that Tian deeply needed… the information about the system… and what happened to the world, or also known as the tower’s first… floor.

“Oh by the way Tian, what’s your Immortality level? Or if you don’t mind me asking, your entire profile?” Mark asked.

“Oh yeah, yeah, I wanna know too!” Kailey added.

“Immortality level…? Profile…?” Tian spun his lips and rolled his eyes until, “Oh! My! God!!” Tian’s was left wide open and both his hands were placed above his head.

“I… totally(!) forgot about that! Status Window!” Tian yelled. A screen then popped up in front of him and a memory from the previous notification entered his mind. “Guys I think I have dementia.”

“Hahaha! Such a Tian thing!” Crazel pointed.

“Yeah!” Kailey just added, again.

“So what does it look like?” Mark asked.

“Um… can I see one of yours, preferably the best one…”

“Here.” Crazel pushed the wind and a screen slowly appeared and advanced toward Tian.

“Uh… is this… not a bug?” Tian asked.

“What do you mean?” Crazel stood up and walked to Tian. “Let me see your screen.”

“Well, how do I do that?”

“Just think of showing it to me inside your head.”

“Wait I wanna see it too!” Kailey chippered and jumped up. Before she could move, Mark grabbed her arms and looked her straight in the eyes. She gulped and sat down with her hands on her lap.

“What!” Crazel shouted. “No! No! This is… what the fuck!” He shook his head and spun around while walking a few steps back, he then stroked his hair, “Oh my God.” He looked back to Tian’s screen.

“So I am… weird?”

Crazel snorted. “Oh dear Tian, you’re not weird, you are an overpowered motherfucker.”

“What? How does that have to do with me being powerful?”

“Huh? What? Wait, what were you talking about as a bug again?”

“Oh, well I’m asking about the- fucking(!) one thousand experience requirement! You have been here for three years and you only have forty-one experience points! What is this bullshit!”

Crazel’s body lost its enthusiasm and slanted down. “Yeah, you’re weird.”
