Part 1: Levitating Platforms
The sound of burning wood as all that could be heard. He endlessly walked. His dagger held hard with his right hand. His Legs screaming to stop, but he didn’t. He couldn’t. The adrenaline From the fight was still their. His pounding heart, waiting to see what’s Next. But even if he had the adrenaline, it was nothing compared to the actual Pain his body was going through. Even though he kept on walking
His steps gradually became slower and slower. And eventually what was inevitable happened, Jin had collapsed. His dagger escaped His grasp. His legs in relief and him.. he was passed out.. on the cold Concrete floor, smeared with blood on the sides. Blood that not even Jin had come to see, blinded with excitement.
Time flew by.
His eyes blurry, the was world spinning to him. ‘Where am I?’ he thought To himself. Attempting to move, his body denied his commands.
He laid there. Slowly recalling his memories on how he ended up there.
“Oh yeah.. I’m down those stairs”. Jin was uneducated and therefore His thoughts and sentences were simple. During the time he was Recalling his memories, his body had regained its former strength.
This Time listening to his commands he stood up. Almost forgetting his dagger He panicked and thought, ‘where would I be without you.’
Continuing to walk, he eventually arrived at a room. A wooden sign hung From the ceiling and what was inscribed on it was unreadable for Jin.
Stolen novel; please report.
Even though Jin couldn’t read he at least knew what the marks of his Language looked like, and whatever was on that wooden plank, it seemed Ancient.
The room was large.it was mysteriously dark and their was barely any Source of light. Jin stood at the edge of the long hall and looked down. Shivers ran down his spine as he gazed into the endless abyss. However, What was more shocking was that there were floating platforms. Yes Jin could hardly believe what he saw, floating platforms? He questioned Himself. How is that even possible. Magic did exist, even Jin knew that.
But this, this was something extravagant. Clueless. This was the state Jin was in. He didn’t know how to move forward.
Other than the floating platforms, he couldn’t see anything. He thought Hard, but no solution can to mind.
Eventually. A thought that made his legs shake came to him. His whole Body seemed to reject the idea, but that wasn’t something that would stop Him. After all he did kill two wolves by himself. With the only thing that Came to mind, he took a few steps back, then dashed forward and jumped
As high as his small body could take him. He landed safely, but not everything goes to plan. The platform gradually Made its way down. It’s was descending into the abyss. Jin was worried He started to panic. He was frightened after learning this. ‘Is this where I Die?’ ‘No. Please no’. This is all he could think about. But nothing could Change his situation. With little hope left, he ran and jumped. Jin’s hands Barely hung onto the next platform, sweat formed on his face. He screamed and roared but it was to
No avail. He pulled as hard as he could and made it on.
However, This platform rose even higher. Jin looked up. He shouldn’t have Had. He almost vomited. There were spikes with dried blood and bodies Still stuck onto them. Jin jumped yet again this time his knees were in pain.
Upon landing he couldn’t feel his knees, tumultuous ringing could be heard he couldn’t focus. Two vertical platforms quickly approached Jin’s platform. And the flabbergasted Jin had no time to recover. He had To move. If he hadn’t, it would mean death.
Yet again he jumped, onto what looked like the last platform. Nothing.
Absolutely nothing happened on this platform. Even if this was shocking He couldn’t care less about that. The only thing he could think about was Reaching the end. His final leap lead him to another hall.
