Part 2: Hearing

Part 2: Hearing

The next day sir Rimuru returned. Inside Jin’s broken home Jin sat down, although he looked at the old man he couldn’t actually see him.

“Follow my voice if you fail to do so I’ll give up on you.”

Jin troubled by those words, sprung up and slowly moved to word that tapping sound.

Jin walked slightly faster then he was earlier. Rimuru started to speak” Currently we’re heading to a training spot, no one other than me knows about it and we’re going to hone Your four senses.” He went on about more details and they continued to walk.

“Atlas we have arrived” the old man said. The sight was something to take in. The sun could be seen clearly in the sky. And the river that flowed from one end of the mountain to yonder was gorgeous and flowed a ultra blue.. The grass was of high quality and even the colour of the grass was dazzling. A mud path was made going from the edge of the cliff into a Forrest, where it led to.. only the old man knew. The whole world could be seen from up their. Smaller mountains could be seen but just because that were smaller didn’t mean that they were actually small all of then where enormous. Few meters away from the cliff was a cosy wooden cottage. The walls looked sturdy and windows let in light and a magnificent view. The ceiling made from wood as-well, was fully patched with no holes. This house seemed to be a waste. For such a view, it was never used.

“Now now, it’s not like you can see young one, so let’s start training.” At first Jin could just about get to where the old man was. Making simple mistakes like tripping and running off in the completely wrong direction. “C’mon Jin you can do better.” Sir Rimuru teased. This feuded Jin’s anger and wasn’t helping him at all. “Well this is gonna take a long time” sir Rimuru said.

“Firstly let’s get you a change of clothes and get you cleaned up because right now you stink and look filthy.” It was a weird experience but the old man no choice but to help Jin get ready. He wore black leather pants that reached his ankles and and a black top made from cloth. Jin was quite handsome, his face was smooth and had a sharp jawline. His arms were thin but was perfect with his overall body. His now white hair fell just past his shoulders with two bangs of hair in front of him on either side.. It was amazingly soft and flowed in a posh manner. Complimenting his clothes his white hair gave him a new much better look.

Unlawfully taken from Royal Road, this story should be reported if seen on Amazon.

Sir Rimuru continued to train Jin, from the beginning where he could barely steer his way to the old man, to now where he was almost getting solid hits onto him. Jin didn’t even take in how strong sir Rimuru was, he just continued to attack. However his form and technique were all over the place. He couldn’t fight. “Keep your legs on floor, if your going to kick me then at least add power to it.” The old man gave hints on what he should do throughout the training sessions.

Months had passed and Jin had only learnt how to use hearing to his advantage. With sometime for rest and little for food, his time table was mostly spent on training. Jin had extraordinary strength, for a peasant this was something that struck the only man. Jin was week. But after he came back from somewhere with the three men his whole personality had changed. This was a new Jin. The next morning Jin asked if he could be taught proper form and techniques that would help him.

“Bend your legs, keep your arms close. Now punch.” Jin quickly thrusted his hand forward. And had his arm stretched out in front of him.

“Switch”

Jin retracted his right arm and moved his left forward and a great speed.

“Switch”

This wasn’t so bad. Jin continued to this for 15minutes.

But nothing is easy as it seems. Right after had finished learning basic form, he was told to do 1 thousand push ups. After hours of struggle Jin actually managed to do it. Sir Rimuru was in shock, he genuinely didn’t think Jin could do this. And even though Jin was broken. He told him to jog on the spot for the rest of the day. This harsh training wasn’t something a eleven year old boy should go through. But was Jin even human, after accomplishing feats impossible for humans sir Rimuru questioned this.

“Jin you are to do this every day.” The old man remarked.

After constant training Jin was able to hear even the lightest sounds, to train his hearing it wasn’t too complicated. Sir Rimuru made noises, either loud or quiet and Jin was tasked to go the sound.Along with the daily harsh training his physique had changed. He repeated doing this every day for months.

A few year went by and Jin had grown he was rather tall around 5/10 and his hair reached his arse.

His body had a lot more flesh on it, his once thin arms had become fatter but now made him look more humane. He outgrew his old clothes and was given a new pair of the same clothes just bigger. Jin wore a felt headband over his eyes and tied it up behind his head but under his hair.

“Now then you’ve mastered hearing, let’s move on.” Sir rimuru said in a exhausted voice.
