The glowing yellow eyes of the mysterious creature were very similar to reptilian eyes and somehow Asher could feel the hatred and anger from this thing, leaving him speechless. It then slowly returned to the water and continued to stare at Asher unblinkingly until it disappeared from their sight.
"Fuck it, that thing must give it a lesson. How dare it expel me out from the water like that!"
Asher stopped Chronos from standing up "Chronos, Chornos chill down a bit. We can't get carried away. That thing is too strong to fight and we can't just fight it head-on."
"But how, Ash? How?"
As Asher was thinking of how to defeat the creature, he saw the old fairy guardian of the forest of Venus fly over between the trees a few meters in front of them. His curiosity pushed him to stand up and slowly follow the old fairy.
"Hey, Ash where are you going?"
"I'm going to follow the old guardian fairy of the Venus forest because I'm sure he must know the way to defeat the Venus river guardian. Let's hurry up Chronos, before we lose track of the fairy."
Asher's eyes continued to watch the old fairy's movements until he finally stopped in front of a rock. The rock was quite larger than normal and was placed in the middle of the forest, leading Asher to realize there must be a special relation between the rock and the old fairy. His suspicion was further strengthened when he saw the old fairy very gently stroking the surface of the stone and removing the dry leaves that were on the stone.
"Hey, what do you think the old elf is doing here? "Chronos narrowed his eyes.
"I have no idea either, Chronos. We need to wait a little while until the old fairy leaves there and then we can get a clear look at the strange rock."
"Yes, that seems like a good idea."
After a few minutes of waiting, the old fairy finally left the place and disappeared somewhere. Realizing the situation was safe, they slowly came out from behind the tree that was their hiding place and walked towards the big rock.
"Wait, look at this. There seems to be something engraved on this boulder." Asher brought his face closer to the boulder "Hmm... it says here have a good rest: Jack."
"Jack? Who is he?" Chronos furrowed his brow. "I've never heard of-"
"Hey! What are you doing!" the old fairy shouted from behind the two of them. "You shouldn't disturb my best friend's grave."
"Wait, this is a mistake. We...we have no intention of disturbing your best friend's meal." Asher's eyeballs widened, seeing the old fairy's sour face. "We just happened to see you and got curious about how you were doing, so we decided to see for ourselves."

"Yes, Asher's words are true. We have absolutely no bad intentions with your best friend's grave."
Hearing the words of the two of them, the old fairy's sour face slowly faded. "Alright, I'm sorry. I just don't want anyone to disturb my best friend's grave."
"So, if I may know what exactly happened to your friend, old fairy?" Chronos touched the surface of the tombstone lightly. "What caused him to die?"
"I heard the news, that he died while fighting against the darkness. "The old fairy bowed his head. "But, I...I should have been the one fighting, instead I...I was too afraid to face the darkness." His tears slowly fell on the ground. "I was so sorry and blamed myself so much that I decided to make a tombstone in his memory."
Chronos was silent for a moment. "I apologize for my impudence. I never meant to bring up your past."
"Calm down, I'm getting used to it." The old fairy wiped away the remaining tears on his face. "Whenever I visit this gravestone, I will always bring a bouquet for him, but it seems this time I have forgotten due to taking care of the venus plants which suddenly went wild for some reason."
The old fairy's words instantly made Asher fall silent. Instantly there was regret in Asher because it was his doing, all this chaos happened. He had no intention of doing that at all, but the situation at that time made him take action.
"Uh, we can help you get this bouquet. Chronos and I can go back to Altaria village and bring it to you."
"Really? Are you guys willing to help me?"

They both accepted the quest and headed back to Altaria village, looking for the flower cart they had seen earlier. A line of bouquets of various colors greeted the two of them as soon as they arrived in front of the cart.
"Hello, welcome to the flower shop "Arian Flower Shop" How can I help you?" a long-haired female fairy greeted them with her dazzling smile.
"Well, we're looking for a bouquet for our friend who passed away." Asher's eyes moved, looking at the various bouquets on display. "We have no idea which one to choose, do you have any suggestions for us?"
"Oh, sorry to hear that. Don't worry, I think I know the perfect bouquet for your friend." The fairy picked up a bouquet of maroon-colored flowers. "Here you go. A bouquet of Zinnia flowers. It means friendship and seems to be perfect for you guys."
"Alright, sounds promising. We'll take it" Asher took out some gold coins. "Thank you, for your help."
"My pleasure."
After buying the flowers, the two of them decided to return to the Venus forest and handed the bouquet to the old fairy. With a smiling face, the old fairy took the bouquet and slowly placed it on his best friend's gravestone.

"We're just happy to help you, old fairy." Asher smiled. "Oh, yes and there is something we want to ask you. Do you know how to defeat the Venus River Guardians?"
"Yeah, we needed the light bead in the bottom of the Venus River, but the Venus River guard just threw us out of the river like a stupid trash bin." Chronos rolled his eyes upwards. "That shitty creature makes me sick."
The old fairy slowly shook his head. "No, no there's nothing you can do to kill the Venus River guardians, but there is one way we can retrieve the light bead at the bottom of the river."
"How? How to do that?"
"Putting all the creatures in this forest to sleep. All of them." The old fairy smiled. "Don't worry I know how to do it."
