Asher's face tightened when he heard those words come out of the player's mouth. The player's sardonic gaze and tight fists showed that he meant what he said and would not hesitate to take Asher's life.
"I have to-"
Suddenly, the large plant that had been asleep just woke up, making a strange noise that sounded like a lion's roar. Seeing that, Asher immediately patted his forehead. Damn, he had completely forgotten that he shouldn't be able to make noise or use "Fire" in this place. And right now, they were all in big trouble.
"Fuck, fuck! It's all because of you, you asshole! You woke this thing up and we all gonna die!" Tension was evident on the player's face. "No. No. Now I...I have to"
The roots of the plant quickly wrapped around the player's legs tightly, pulling the player's legs down to the ground. He tried to cut the root with his dagger, but the creature instantly grabbed the player and ate him alive before he could do so.
"Oh my, this...this can't be." Asher's hands trembled, seeing the player's blood visible in the mouth of the huge plant. "Chronos! Get away from there!"
"Argh, I can't Ash. This wound on my leg makes it difficult for me to move" Chronos tried to stand up, but his body immediately fell. " Shit!! Shit!"
With all of his might, Chronos dragged his body trying to get away from the huge plant. However, the huge plant did not let its prey escape easily at all. It once again used its roots which moved quickly like a snake, trying to wrap itself around Chronos' legs.
"Argh, fuck! Stay away from me!" Chronos continued to swing his sword, cutting down all the plant roots that were trying to pull him down. "Ash, I need your help!"
Asher immediately ran over and helped Chronos to his feet. However, the distance between the roots and their position was quite close, so they had to get rid of the roots as quickly as possible before they became a delicious meal for the monstrous plant.
Without a second thought, Asher grabbed his bomb item, throwing it right at the creature. In an instant the bomb exploded, burning the creature's entire body so quickly that it died instantly.

"Good Game Ash, you managed to kill that thing. Auh. Auh."
"Chronos don't make too many moves. I'll heal your wounds right away." Asher immediately cast his healing spell. "Cure!"
"Thank you for saving me, Ash."
"Chronos, now we have to get out of here. I'm sure the rest of the plants will come back after us. Come on, we have to get out of here quickly." Asher pulled Chornos' hand, away from that place.

They quickly left the place, running as far as they could until they finally arrived in front of a bridge. The floor surface of the bridge was made of a collection of wooden planks arranged with a small gap in each plank. Some wooden planks had partially weathered surfaces due to termites that were around the surface of the planks- this gave Asher a slight sensation of queasiness- seeing the termites forming a pattern that was quite horrifying.
"Chronos, we shouldn't cross this bridge. It feels like this bridge is quite fragile to walk on." Asher slowly walked backward.
"Huh? What do you mean by that, Asher?" Chronos furrowed his brow. "No, Ash we can't go back now. The creature's voice is getting clearer and clearer and surely if we don't move now, the creature will kill us."
"But, what if this bridge suddenly collapses?"
"I'd rather die falling off this bridge than suffer a similar fate with that player." Chronos continued to walk across the bridge. "Come on, we have to keep moving."
"All right."
During the walk across the bridge, Asher's heartbeat continued to beat rapidly followed by cold sweat running down his forehead. Honestly, he had no idea whether following Chronos' decision to insist on crossing this bridge was the right thing to do, but he only hoped for one thing. Hoping that when they walked over this bridge, it wouldn't collapse.
"Hey, Ash hurry up. Why are you walking like a snail? If you walk so slowly, when will we reach the end of this bridge."
"Yes, yes Chronos I know." Asher's gaze continued to look forward without turning around. "I'm trying, but...but this bridge sways too much and I have to be very careful if I don't want to fall off the bridge."
However, suddenly a strong gust of wind shook the bridge, causing Asher to almost fall off the bridge. Although he was still safe, he was unable to calm his mind. The image of falling into the dark abyss instantly evoked memories of his dark past and it felt like it was suffocating his chest.
"Oh fuck, Ash! Are you alright?" Chronos walked over to Asher. "Ash, are you alright?"
"Uh.. yes...yes Chronos. I'm fine."
"Oh, thank goodness. Now we have to cross this bridge before the strong winds hit it again. Hurry up."
After a few minutes of walking, they finally reached the end of the bridge. "Oh my, we've finally arrived." Asher let out a long breath, his tense face slowly relaxed.
"Uh yeah Ash, but...but what is it?" Chronos patted Asher's shoulder repeatedly. "What is that thing?"
Asher's eyes immediately widened when he saw what was in front of him. There was a group of winged creatures like butterflies passing in front of him, entering the forest with flapping wings that were wide and much larger than the size of ordinary butterfly wings.
"Holy shit I've never seen a creature with such large wings at all." Chronos' mouth opened slightly. 'Shit, but where exactly are we?"
"I don't know, Chronos. I also-. "Asher paused for a moment when he saw a board similar to the one the old elf was holding. "My gut tells me there seems to be something written on that board, Chronos. Come on, we should take a look at it." He decided to walk over to the brown board.
Forest of Venus (part 2/2):
This is the end of the forest of Venus where there are many large butterflies and some other creatures. There is a small river here and a small cave that leads out of the Venus forest.
Item drops: Chitin, a sturdy rod
"Oh my, so this forest is still part of the Venus forest? Interesting."
"Yes, and it seems that we can find other materials we need here, Chronos."
"That's right. That's right. So, what are we waiting for? "Chronos walked into the forest without any hesitation at all. "Come on Ash, we have to move now."
While in the forest, it turned out that what they expected did not suit reality. There was only a collection of shady trees and not a single creature passing in front of them. The two of them continued walking until they saw a green liquid stuck to a tree trunk. It looked like a slime-sticky and slimy that quickly spread, chewing away at the surface of the tree trunk until it sent chills down Asher's spine.
"Oh my, what...what is that?"
“Shit! That’s poison and it’s still fresh.” Chronos’ face tightened. “Ash, we must be careful, there is something around us.”
