Fairy river

"Wait, wait a minute. A curse? What are you talking about, Persea? I don't understand what you're saying at all?" asked Asher curiously.

"The curse of the orc king's sword-a horrible curse that can make anyone affected by it die in a matter of hours." Persea's body trembled as her face paled. "Hurry up, we don't have much time. We have to save the fairy elder."

"Quest 8: Rescue Altaria's fairy elder (required)"

Recommended player level: lv 8-10

Reward 600 gold coins, 2x elixir, 4x potions

The curse from the orc weapon is increasingly spreading in the fairy elder's body. They must bring him to Malana village to get help as soon as possible. However, they had to pass through a fairy river that was famous for its blood-sucking beasts which often attacked anyone who passed through this river.

"Holy shit. Blood-sucking beasts? Sounds quite horrible and strange. Is it possible that it will be like a vampire that will suck our blood?"

"I don't know either, Chronos. But, there's no time to think about that now. We must hurry to help the fairy elder because now she needs our help." Asher pressed the quest button nimbly. "Hurry up, you too Chronos."

"Okay."

"Huh? What is this time for?" Asher scratched his head, a confused look on his face.

"This is the time left to save the fairy elders. If time runs out, the curse inside the elders' bodies will make the fairy elders die." Persea's face paled. "I, I can't use my teleportation spell either because it takes quite a long time to be able to use my teleportation spell. Hurry up, come with me. I'll take you to the fairy river. Hurry up."

During the walk through the forest, Persea said that there was another access to Malana's village, but it took a long time to get to Malana's village and they couldn't linger because the fairy elders' lives were in danger. The only access that was the fastest to get to Malana village was to pass through the fairy river because this river was directly adjacent to Malana village.

"Uh, but the river is filled with horrible creatures that like to attack anyone who gets close to the swamp, so many fairies don't like to use this route. " Persea uttered. "But, calm down I'm sure we'll be fine. Hurry up, we're almost there."

"What, what is happening? Why are all these fish dead?" Persea flew closer to the edge of the fairy river. "Oh my, it looks like someone poured poison inside the fairy river. This, this is bad, bad. Be careful not to touch this river."

This book's true home is on another platform. Check it out there for the real experience.

"Shit! Who's the crazy person who is doing all this? What should we do now?" Chronos grumbled, his foot immediately kicking a small rock nearby. "Argh, Fuck!"

"Hey, calm down. I'm sure we can find a way through this river." Asher patted Chronos on the shoulder. "There must be a way to get through this swamp. I'm sure of it. We just need to be more patient."

"Shit! Shit! My patience has run out. We've been here almost 19 minutes and we got nothing!" Chronos grumbled, his temper starting to peak. "It feels like it's all for nothing. The fairy elder will die."

"Hey, don't talk like that. We can save the fairy elders and just stop complaining and keep looking!"Persea furrowed her brows, a look of displeasure on Chronos' face that sounded harsh. "You know what, my ears are burning from listening to your non-stop complaining."

"Hey, freak listen to me. There's really nothing here and we have absolutely no hope now. This is all a waste of time. Shit."

"Wait, what do you call me? Freak?" Persea furrowed her brows, her face reddening. "Look at yourself, you just keep whining and complaining like a girl. You're just making everything worse."

"Hey, hey watch what you say fucking blue fairy. Don't make me angry!"

Chronos' cursing instantly made the atmosphere hotter. The two of them started hurling insults continuously like two children fighting over a toy. Asher's head was getting hotter and hotter hearing their insults to each other which only made the atmosphere they were experiencing even worse.

"Argh, Stop it! Both of you, stop!" Asher shouted loud enough to make Chornos and Persea instantly fall silent. "You know the fairy elders' lives in danger and you're still clinging to your egos!" Asher's face instantly reddened, his jaw looking stern

"I'm sorry. We... we know Asher." Persea looked down, trying to cover her face. "I'm sorry."

"Yeah, me either. I got carried away too easily. Sorry, we just messed things up."

"Never mind, now we just need to look more calm. I'm sure we'll definitely." Asher pointed his index finger forward."Hey, I think I see something behind that bunch of grass. Over there, you guys saw it right?"

"Yeah, wait here, I'll check it out first" Persea flapped her wings and passed through the grass. "Oh my, guys come here, you won't believe what I saw. Hurry up, come here."

"Wait, is this a ship? But why is there a ship near the edge of the river?"

"Uh, I don't know Asher, but it looks like we can use this ship to get through the fairy river." Persea flew over to the ship and inspected it. "Uh, unfortunately, there are some small holes in the hull, but don't worry, you can repair them using your crafting skills/LUK. The higher your LUK status, the easier it will be for you to repair this ship."

"My LUK status is level 3, how about yours Chronos?"

"Mine is level 4. So, at least I can repair this ship faster."

"Uh, okay so Chronos will repair the ship and I'll look for some materials to seal the hole. Wait here, I'll be back as soon as I can."

"Oh, okay."

'Time remaining 32:08'

"Finally, at least I've managed to gather all the materials needed. Now, hurry up and repair this ship, Chronos. Asher and I will take care of you from here."

"Okay, I'll try to repair this ship as quickly as possible. I'm counting on you guys."

A few minutes passed and fortunately, Asher hadn't seen anything suspicious yet. The manufacturing process at least seemed to be going safely, as he expected. It seemed like, if everything went smoothly, surely this ship would be finished sooner. However, not long after, there were small bubbles in the quiet river and for some reason it seemed to be moving, approaching Chronos who was near the edge of the river. Gosh, Asher had to be able to protect Chronos or all their plans would fail.
