Asher wandered around, trying to see his surroundings. Still, the wisps of mist continuously appeared making it difficult for him to observe his surroundings. This kind of situation reminded him of a scene in a horror movie where a terrifying figure stalked them from behind the mist.
"Fuck, where's that thing? I'm going to kill it now!”
"Chronos, we must calm down and not act rashly." Asher patted Chronos on the shoulder repeatedly. "We just need to be patient so that-"
"Ash, watch out!" Chronos instantly deflected the arrow that was trying to hurt Asher. "Shit! That’s close. Argh, that’s enough. I'm going to find and kill that thing, Right now!"
"Wait Chronos, where are you going?" Asher held Chronos' wrist. "Chronos, remember if we want to defeat this thing, we must stick together. Don't let your emotions get in the way of your thoughts."
"No, I don't want to wait like a fool for one of us to get hurt." Chronos released Asher's hand. "Don’t bother me, Ash." He then entered a thick wisp of mist and disappeared into thin air.
"Oh, no, no. This is serious. What...what should we do now?" Persea's hands continued to shake incessantly. "We're going to die! We're going to die!" She grabbed her hair repeatedly. "I, I don't want to die."
"Persea, hey calm down no one will die. We need to stick together and stay calm. Okay?"
"Uh, Yes Ash looks like- Oh my, Asher's behind you!"
Persea's shout caused Asher to immediately turn around and see a green creature slashing at Asher, trying to hurt him. However, Asher immediately reflexively blocked the creature's attack using his wand.
"Oh my, that, that's an orc." Persea rounded her eyes.
"Argh, damn it. I didn't notice this thing at all." Asher's hands began to tremble as he endured the green creature's continuous attacks. "This, this thing is powerful and I can't fight it alone."
The orc continued to shower Asher with several attacks, causing Asher's staff to be knocked out of his grasp. Seeing the opening, the Orc immediately sent a hard punch right into Asher's stomach and immediately made Asher bounce quite far.
"Damn, this thing…this thing is so strong. "Asher tried to get up but the hard blow to his stomach left him completely unable to stand for long. "I... I can't beat this thing at all."
"Oh, no. Asher, hold on!"
Persea quickly darted towards Asher, trying to help him. However, the orc immediately swung its attack at Persea, causing the blue fairy to instantly lose consciousness. The orc walked over to Asher who was lying weakly on the ground and immediately swung his sword followed by a smiling smile, preparing to take Asher's life.

"Oh, shit!"
'Cling! Cling!'
Asher's face tightened as he saw Chronos' sword manage to parry the orc's attack quickly. Chronos immediately kicked the orc hard enough to make the creature push far enough away from its position.
"Ash, are you okay?" Chronos immediately opened the potion bottle and gave it to Asher. "Hurry up, drink this."
Asher gulped down the potion quickly and gradually the pain from the orc's blow made him able to stand up straight. Without lingering he immediately cast his magic spell until all the wounds from the orc's attack disappeared completely.
"Thank you, Chronos for helping me."
"Hey, that's nothing. Now, we have to kill this damn orc, but we don't know the weakness of this thing at all, how can we defeat it?"
"Persea." Asher snapped his fingers. "We can use the scan ability to find out our opponent's weakness, Chronos. However, Persea fainted from taking this orc's blow and we need to help her first."
"Yes, that makes sense. I'll hold this damn orc as much as I can, hurry up and help Persea while you can, Ash."
Asher immediately helped Persea and immediately cast the healing spell until Persea finally regained consciousness. "Uh, what...what exactly happened?"
"Fortunately, you are already awake, Persea. We need your help. Use your scan skill to analyze the orc's weaknesses."
"Uh, okay."
Persea immediately used her scan ability on the orc who was fighting with Chronos. Within seconds, all the data about the creature instantly appeared on both of their screens just like when they got the quest.
Orc warrior (Lv.9)
HP: 9000/9000
Mana: 50/50
Element: none
Weakness: all magic attack
"All magic power?" Asher patted his forehead. "Damn, I can't do that at all. My magic power is not the type to attack, but to protect and support teammates."
"But, you can use the passive skill of Altaria's staff, Asher. The passive skill of Altaria's staff is capable of firing magic attacks at the enemy. Uh, but first you have to activate the passive skill, Ash."
"Wait, how? I don't know how to activate the passive skill at all?"
"Uh, the passive skill will only activate if the user reaches the set requirements and will always appear in the explanation column when you get the weapon. However, in general, the user must focus on activating the skill.
"Alright, I understand." Asher nodded his head. "Let's try it."
Asher slowly took a deep breath and closed his eyes. He immediately recalled his mother's teachings- focus. He must be able to eliminate all the distractions around him, then calmly take a deep breath, imagining that his goal was right in front of his eyes.
"Focus..." Asher exhaled slowly. "Focus..."
Suddenly there was a white light emanating from the tip of Asher's wand, flowing quickly along Asher's wand until it gave off a very bright light. Persea saw this and instantly jumped for joy followed by a smile that did not escape her face.
"Asher, you did it! You managed to activate the passive skill of Altaria's staff." Persea rounded her eyes. "Amazing, you're still a newbie but easily activated the passive skill of Altaria's staff."
"Yes, I think this might be due to my mother's teachings. Being calm like water will help you stay focused" Asher scratched his head. "Alright, now it's time for revenge." Asher pointed the tip of his staff at the orc followed by his smoldering gaze. "Feel this damn thing, laser light!"
A jet of white light instantly struck the orc, the creature bounced back quite hard. Chronos who saw it was speechless and simply turned his head towards Asher, with a confused look on his face.
"Holy shit. That... that's an amazing attack! Incredible power." Chronos smiled. "How is that possible? How can you have that kind of power, Ash."
"It's the passive skill of Altaria's staff. I also never expected the passive skill to be this powerful. This weapon is indeed extraordinary."
"Uh, but we shouldn't get too excited just yet." Persea patted Asher's shoulder repeatedly. "Look, that thing reappeared and it seems to be with the other orcs."
"Oh, shit."
