Asher's shout instantly caused Persea to pause as the figure of the two yellow eyes slowly revealed its full form in front of her. A large snake with black scales covering its entire body surface looked at Persea like a delicious meal.

" That, that's Titanoboa!"

"Persea, watch out!" Chronos darted quickly and managed to save Persea before the creature became prey. "It's a good thing I just made it in time."

"Uh, thank you, Chr-chronos." Cold sweat poured down Persea's face, followed by her face stiffening.

"Chronos! Hey, are you okay?"

"Yes, I'm fine. But we have to be careful with this snake attack. We need to kill this fucking thing right now."

Regardless, Chronos darted out, launching his attack at the Titanoboa. However, the creature immediately moved its tail and managed to block Chronos' attack, and made Chronos' body slammed directly into the wall.

"Ugh, damn it." Fresh blood flowed from Chronos' mouth. "This thing... is powerful."

"Oh no, no. We must help Chronos immediately, he's in danger." Persea's hands continued to shake incessantly. "Oh my, the creature will kill Chronos and kill us all. Oh no, we're going to die! We're going to die!"

"Persea, calm down. no one will die." Asher handed his Potion bottle to Persea. "Give this bottle to Chronos, I'll distract Titanoboa."

"But, but, what about you, Asher? The Titanoboa will surely kill you easily."

"Calm down, I know what I'm doing."

Asher immediately ran away from Persea, pointed his staff at Titanoboa, and then immediately fired his magic spell, producing an explosion loud enough that the creature immediately turned around with a cynical look.

"Hurry up, Persea, this is your chance."

"Uh, uh alright."

Titanoboa instantly moved quickly towards Asher, ignoring Chronos who was wounded a few meters in front of him. Good, it seemed Asher's plan was going quite smoothly, now he just needed to continue distracting this huge snake for as long as possible until Chronos could fully recover.

"I must continue to be able to distract the Titanoboa, I must -"

"Asher, watch out!"

Hearing Persea's shout, Asher turned around and immediately saw the Titanoboa spewing a purplish-black poisonous liquid from its mouth. He tried to dodge, but unfortunately, it was too late, the liquid managed to hit Asher.

"Argh! Damn it!"

A hot sensation was felt around Asher's legs that made him grimace in pain. He couldn't think calmly at all and simply chanted the healing spell without realizing that things were getting worse. The heat spread rapidly throughout his body until his body became feverish and his vision blurred.

"My antidote...I need it."

Asher tried to retrieve the fairy elder's potion bottle, but the effects of the Titanoboa venom numbed his whole body. Damn, no matter how hard he tried to move his body, the result was nil. The effects of the poison had been in his body for quite some time and now Asher could only stand still like a mannequin, waiting for the Titanoboa to devour him.

Persea's hands continued to tremble incessantly as she saw the Titanoboa so close to Asher. "Oh my, Ash! Oh no, no. What do I do? What do I do? Asher's going to die, he's going to die...."

"No, I won't let him."

Chronos darted swiftly at Asher, swung his sword, and pierced the Titanoboa's eyes deeply enough for fresh red blood to flow from the huge snake's eyes along with a loud groan. In an instant, the creature disappeared into thin air.

"Good, now I have a chance to help Asher." Chronos ran over to Asher, pouring Antidote into Asher's mouth. "Come on, buddy hang in there."

Asher's body temperature slowly decreased and he opened his eyes. "What...what happened? Where's the snake?"

"Gosh, it's a good thing you're okay. Hurry up now and use your healing spell first." Chronos sighed. "Calm down, I've managed to injure that fucking snake, right Persea? Persea?" He turned around, seeing Persea frozen like a statue. "Hey, what's wrong with you? Why is your face so pale?"

"I... I caught a glimpse of blue light when Chronos successfully attacked Titanoboa. I'm pretty sure it was my crystal, but there's one problem." Persea clasped her hands together tightly. "That light came from inside Titanoboa's mouth."

"Holy shit! Does that mean we have to kill the Titanoboa? Damn, damn it seems impossible to kill Titanoboa." Chronos shook his head. "See for yourself, we almost died because of that fucking snake."

"Yes, but there's no other way, we have to kill that snake to get the Persea crystal to complete this quest. I'm sure there must be a way to defeat this thing, but what?"

Asher was looking around, he suddenly noticed a large stalactite hanging from the ceiling of the cave. There were cracks all around it growing so wide that hard tremors would probably bring it down.

"Chronos, I think I have an idea." Asher patted Chronos on the shoulder. "Can you lure the Titanoboa there?"

"Yes, of course, it's easy. But, what do you want to do?"

"We'll kill the Titanoboa by knocking over the stalactite. I'm sure it will work."

"Well, that's quite a bold idea, Ash."

"Uh, but, but are you sure about this idea Asher?" asked Persea doubtfully. "I don't know, I'm pretty doubtful this plan will work."

"Hey, Persea we'll never know if we don't-"

The Titanoboa's figure reappeared from behind them followed by its hissing sound. Its gaze looked sharp as if it was preparing to finish them all off. Those who realized this immediately began to carry out the plan they had agreed to together - lure the Titanoboa to be right under the Stalactite which was not far from their position.

"Slash! Slash! Feel this damn thing." Chronos launched his attacks repeatedly until the creature began to get hooked. "Chase me if you can!"

Chronos started running towards the Stalagtite followed by Titanoboa. Asher, seeing his plan coming to fruition, immediately climbed a large rock right beside him to find the right position to launch his attack. He then pointed his wand and prepared to wait for the right moment to fire his attack in a bid to knock the thing down.

"Come on, Chronos. Just a little more. Just a little bit more." Asher gripped his staff tightly, looking at the Titanoboa that was still chasing Asher.

When the Titanoboa was in the right position, Asher immediately launched his attack with all his might, knocking the stalactite down in no time. The stalactite instantly pierced the Titanoboa's body and instantly killed the creature without putting up any resistance.

'Congratulations, you managed to kill the Mid-boss: Titanoboa'

'Exp increased by 1500'

'You have obtained, 1x Titanoboa fang. 1x snake skin'

"Oh my, finally." Asher wiped the sweat from his forehead.

"Ash, your idea is amazing! I didn't expect us to finally kill this damn snake."

"Yeah, me too." Asher walked over to Titanoboa's corpse which still looked very fresh. "Alright, so we just need to take the crystal and get out of here. But, wait why didn't I see that light at all, Persea are you sure about it?

"Yes, I’m really sure. Wait, I'll show you" Persea immediately darted into Titanoboa's mouth and instantly saw something light up from Titanoboa's mouth.

"Holy shit, what's going on?"

'You have obtained 1x Persea energy stone.'
