Asher just kept stomping his feet as his forehead furrowed. He had been waiting in front of Altaria's gate for almost 10 minutes, but he hadn't seen Aidan's account named "Chronos" around him at all, as Aidan had said before. Strange. Was it possible Aidan had forgotten about his promise?

"Argh, Aid where are you?"

A few seconds after that, someone's voice was heard calling Ethan's name from behind. At first, Ethan tried to ignore the voice, but strangely the more he ignored the voice, the louder it sounded and kept repeating. He then decided to turn his body around, looking at the person who kept calling his actual name.

"Aidan, is this you? "Oh my, wait a minute. What's wrong with you, Chronos?" Asher furrowed his brows, seeing that the player's account name was Chronos. "You look weird like that. " Asher tried to hold back his laughter

"Laugh all you want, Asher. I know what you mean. This must be because of the choice of my hairstyle and color which looks like a tomato, right?" Aidan shook his head. "Shit. Shit. This is all because I chose my hairstyle too hastily."

"But, can't you change your current hairstyle?"

"For now, I can't because I'm not the only one who has experienced something stupid like this. I have to wait in a long queue for about 2-3 days.". Chronos shook his head. "So I'll be looking weird like this for a few days."

"Never mind, enough of that. Now, we need to focus on completing this quest." Asher opened the gate of Altaria, walking towards the forest of Altaria.

"Yes, agreed. Let's go kick all the monsters' butts in this place." Chronos' eyes lit up. Emitting his fiery spirit.

During their time in the forest, some of the wild wolves that killed Asher showed up in front of them, trying to kill Asher for the second time. However, with Chronos' help, at least now Asher has a chance to fight back against all the wild wolves.

"Cure!" Asher pointed his staff at Chronos, adding to the dwindling blood meter.

"GG, Ash." Chronos smiled, a happy expression seen on his face.

Asher furrowed his brow. "GG? What's that?"

"Good Game. It's what gamers say to their friends if they play a good game."

"Oh well, sounds pretty strange to my ears." Asher nodded his head. "Alright, now we-"

Suddenly a wild wolf appeared from behind the bushes, leaping at Asher causing him to fall to the ground. The fangs of the wild wolf were so close to him, along with the steady dripping of his saliva, which made him instantly recall the incident he had experienced.

"Oh, Shit! Chronos, I need help!"

Chronos darted quickly towards Asher, pointed his sword upwards, and then drove the tip into the wild wolf's body until it pierced the wild wolf's body. Quickly, the wolf's blood splashed onto Asher's face, causing the creature to die instantly.

"Hey, Ash are you okay buddy." Chronos pushed the creature off Asher's body.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Asher let out a long breath, feeling relieved. "Oh my, it's so close! I don't want to taste death a second time." He cleaned his face, his voice strained.

"Come on, now we have to keep moving before those crazy wolves come back to attack us."

Just as Chronos grabbed Asher's hand, pulling him back to his feet, the same wolf appeared in front of them. However, this time it was much larger than before. The creature walked closer to Asher followed by its yellow eyes looking like the gaze of a killer prepared to eliminate its prey.

"Fuck! Are you kidding me?" Chronos grumbled. "Damn it, at this rate I'm going to finish this damn thing off."

"But look, Chronos. This thing doesn't seem to be like the wolves from before. We can't be careless and we need a plan to defeat this thing."

"Hey, Ash, calm down. I'm sure with my strength, I can cut that thing down easily."

"But-"

Chronos confidently launched the same strike again at the big wolf, but the creature immediately used its sharp claws, blocking all of Chronos' attacks quickly. Shit. It turned out Asher's guess was right, this wolf was much stronger than before.

"Fuck. but why?" Chronos' eyeballs widened momentarily. "Why can this thing withstand my attacks so easily?"

The creature immediately counterattacked Chronos in succession until Chronos slowly began to weaken. As its defenses began to weaken, the creature launched its sharp nails at Chronos, clawing at Chronos' body causing an injury to one of its arms.

"Oh my, Chronos!" Asher immediately cast a healing spell. "I told you not to act rashly, Chronos. We have to think of a way to defeat this thing first before attacking it."

"But how, Ash?" Chronos grumbled in annoyance.

"I...I don't know, but we need to get out of here. Right now!" Asher threw his bomb item, momentarily disrupting the wild wolf's vision. "This is our chance. Hurry up, Chronos!"

They ran with all their might away from the big wolf, into the deeper parts of the Altarian forest. The chill in the night breeze and the sound of the wolves chasing him made Asher start to feel chills. It reminded him of one of the horror movies he had watched as a child- making him unable to rest at all.

"Oh, shit! Shit!" Chronos flipped his head back. "We can't keep running, Asher. Those wild wolves will catch up with us."

"We have to hide. But where?" Asher cast his eyes around. "Over there. I'm sure we'll be safe there. Come with me."

Needless to say, the two of them immediately hid behind a large tree in the surroundings. Slowly, the two of them peeked at the big wolf's whereabouts from behind the big tree where they were hiding.

"Fuck! Fuck! The wolf will find us" Chronos' face paled. "Fuck, we're going to die."

"Chronos, I think I have an idea and I'm sure it will work." Asher slowly walked out of his hiding place. "When I give the signal, launch your attack to kill this thing."

"Uh, wait. Wait, what's your plan? Aren't you crazy? This thing will easily kill you if you get out of here."

"Just trust me Chronos. I'm sure this plan will work." Asher smiled. "Just wait for my signal."

Unhesitatingly, Asher yelled loud enough to direct the big wolf's attention towards him. The creature instantly dashed in that direction followed by its gaze looking at Asher like tasty walking meat in front of it, trying to kill Asher with its sharp teeth.

"Ash, are you crazy? What are you doing?" Chronos' face tightened, seeing Asher's actions. "Hurry up and run away, Ash."

"No, I'm not. This is all what I expected." Asher's gaze didn't budge at all, seeing the wild wolf running towards him. "Come on, just a little more."

Only a few meters away from Asher's position, the wolf unhesitatingly jumped up, opening its wide mouth to reveal its sharp canines in an attempt to pounce on Asher. Recognizing the strike, Asher immediately jumped to the side, avoiding the attack.

"Chronos, now!"

Chronos emerged from his hiding place, launching an attack on the wolf. "Taste this, fucking thing!"

Chronos' slashes cut the wolf's body in half instantly, making the big wolf die on the spot. Asher, seeing this, was smiling because everything appeared to have gone just as he had predicted.

"Good thing we're still safe." Asher sighed, relief showing on his face.

"'Holy shit, we almost died." Chronos wiped the sweat from his forehead, his tense jaw slowly loosening. "Yeah, but I like your crazy idea, Ash. You act like a pro."

A few minutes later, there was suddenly the sound of someone moaning. The voice sounded so clear and somehow it was around the two of them. Asher directed his eyes around until he finally managed to find the source- behind a tree a few meters in front of him.

"Chronos, I think the source is from there. Let's go check it out."

They decided to walk closer to the tree until they finally saw who the groaning figure was. The figure turned out to be a fairy, just like Navi. But there was something different about this fairy. Her tiny body looked covered in bruises and her lips were pale like the undead.

"Wait, but what happened to her?" Asher rounded his eyes, noticing the scars on her wings. "Oh my God, we have to help her!"
