Chapter 7.3
Have you ever felt as if you were roaming around endlessly without a goal in mind?
Going here and there without knowing where you are at?
That feeling as if you were lost in an unknown world?
Here, you felt somewhat at peace. No one was around, there was no wars, no fighting, not even an argument. It was truly peaceful.
Slowly, you hear someone calling you, trying to wake you up.
‘Who’s calling me?’
Adrian’s body was on the ground, no moving. Completely motionless.
The tail that was hanging down suddenly jerked as if it was being controlled. All the nerves in his body felt as if they were alive again.
He made a grunting sound as if he was being disturbed in his sleep. He didn’t want to wake up, but it was too late. He was already awoke.
His eyelids moved until they were open showing his golden eyes.
In his head memories flashed around. From being born, until now.
‘Adrian…?’ He asked himself as if confused about his own being.
Shaking his head he remembered that he died. This should be the afterlife, and he should be going to hell.
“Damien.” A sweet voice called his name, as he glanced up.
His eyes were locked on a little girl who he’s never seen before.
As if the memories of Adrian overlap with his own, he recalls that this girl is Veronica.
‘This isn’t the afterlife, and how am I still alive? That guard… fucking bastard killed me.’ He thought to himself as his eyes wandered around the space.
It was empty. The only thing he could spot was Veronica, a black chair and the white tile that he was sitting on.
As Damien opened his mouth to speak, Veronica cut him off with her hand telling him not to say a word.
“You must have a lot of questions, however i’ll only tell you what you need to know.” She told him.
“First, Everit has been kind enough to revive you once again. Although you’ve been reborn, some things have changed. Those who you knew, are all dead. The world has drastically changed over the years.
Second, abilities are still the same and you still have your own ability you had so long ago.
Third, Everit has revived you, but at a cost. You may not understand, but he does. Your father, has a strong bloodline and you have inherited it. That mother of yours was nothing but a vessel to give your birth.
Because of your special bloodline, Everit has revived you. He has a few task for you to complete, and you will complete it. As thanks in advance for your service, he has given you something special that will help you in your journey. The task is quite special, in three years time you will understand.”
Veronica could care less about humans, but Damien wasn’t human. He was special and Everit needed him for his own goals. Thus when she spoke it wasn’t in a cold manner, yet it wasn’t pleasant either.

As she watched his face show no reaction, she was surprised. She was at least expecting him to try to interrupt her when she told him that everyone he knew was dead, but he just sat there like a good child.
‘Maybe, he’s still taking it in.’ She thought as she continued to watch him.
‘Who is Everit? What does she mean special bloodline? My mother a vessel…’ Damien couldn’t take it all in. What she was saying was too hard to swallow at the moment.
He needed time to get everything straightened out, and figure out a plan. Anyone who would revive someone just for their own goals, could not be a good person. Damien knew that, but he also knew that if someone had the power to revive him. That person could only be a god.
Who or whatever Everit is, has given him three years to prepare. This time, he won’t waste it.
“The way out?” He asked her.
Damien couldn’t stand being in front of Veronica, but he hardly knew her. Maybe it wasn’t him that couldn’t stand her, but Adrian.
‘Is he still lingering around?’ Damien thought.
If Adrian was still somewhere in his body, then that would explain why the things he felt were haterd at this moment.
“So soon? You don’t have anything you want to ask?” She questioned him with her eyebrow raised.
To her, it was strange. So much has happened, she was expecting him to shoot her with questions. However that is not the case, the only thing he wanted was to leave.
‘How rude!’ She snorted.
“You said you’ll tell me what I needed to know, and you did. I listened, now I want to go.” His voice was cold. Maybe it was due to the fact that Adrian has been through so much and all his emotions were still around that Damien spoke in that tone. However it just naturally came out of his mouth, as if the tone was dead set.
“Fine.” Veronica sounded angry as she couldn’t believe the rudeness Damien showed her.
She snapped her fingers and humphed as Damien vanished from her sight.
As Damien left her sight, she turned her head. Her vision was stuck on something, it was like she was watching tv, but there was no screen in front of her.
‘Damien, that bastard! Humph, maybe one of the other seven will kill you!’
….
As Damien disappeared from that space, he landed in the middle of a small town.
When he appeared, the people around him glanced at him with strange eyes. It wasn’t too weird for them to do so, as Damien just appeared out of thin air. However, their eyes were like if they found a savior.
“K-King!” Multiple voices said in unison.
Their eyes shone with light as the crowd slowly grew larger and larger.
