Chapter 2.3
The Mercedes slammed straight into a Corvette that was in the wrong lane. It flipped straight over the Corvette and flipped around a few times before crashing into a tree nearby. Luckily they weren’t on the highway or else things could have been even worse than what they were.
This was not due to Mr. Miller's bad driving, nor from him picking up his phone when it dropped. Sure, if he didn’t pick up his phone in that second he might have avoided the collision, but there wasn’t any proof that he would avoid it. The Corvette was driving fast, way faster than what the speed limit allowed them to go. Right as it turned the corner it drove straight into Mr. Millers car, making them collide hard.
On the road was shattered glass along with parts of both cars lying around. The person inside the corvette wasn’t in any shape to do anything. Their head was against the dashboard and blood was flowing down.
In the smoking Mercedes, everyone was hurt in some shape. If it wasn’t for Mr. Miller telling the three in the back to buckle up, who knows what sort of damage that crash really would have done. However, they had minor cuts and bruises along with a little bleeding here and there. Compared to Adrian and his father, their wounds could be considered light. Adrian's head was against the airbag that was deflated. His head had glass all over it, and cuts across his face.
‘Ugh… what… the… hell…’ Adrian thought to himself as he started to come to. He had this major headache that just continued to throb. It felt like his head would explode at any moment. Placing his hand on his head, he felt something liquidy and his heart skipped a beat. ‘Blood? Fuck…’ Adrian slowly opened his eyes, but his vision was hazy and he couldn’t make much out.
“Hey…” Adrian tried to speak, but he just coughed and continued to cough. It hurt every time he coughed and when he did specks of blood would come up as well. “You guys… alright?” He asked while trying to move his body. He knew more than anyone else that they needed to get out of this car. If they didn’t and any gas spilled, it would spell the worst for them.
“Ad..rian, … that’s… you?” Bryan spoke softly. It was so soft that Adrian could barely hear him.
“Yeah… it’s me.” Adrian barely made out.
“That's nice… nice man. Can… you do… me a favor…?” Bryan asked softly.
“What?”
“Tell Em… I love her…” Bryan said as he passed out.
“Fuck… you.” Adrian responded to him.
Adrian became tired, it felt like all his strength was fading away. He didn’t even have the strength to speak anymore let alone move his body. His body was already in a position to where he was staring at his father, who was unconscious against the steering wheel. He was relieved to know that his father was alright, or so he thought. Suddenly blackness took over and Adrian passed out as well.

Everyone in the Mercedes was unconscious, but if they were awake they would find it fascinating that the piece of the tenth planet that Mr. Miller had was glowing still. Even in such a dire moment, such a beautiful thing didn’t lose its radiance.
The piece of the planet had blood splattered on it, but the blood slowly disappeared. After the blood disappeared, it started glowing into six different colors. Two of which were already seen, but now four more had been added. If Mr. Miller or another scientist were to notice this they would have to run these on this thing immediately to see what the effects were and why it changed its colors so suddenly.
‘Six new kings have been added. We’ve met the requirement for the change and potential to be unlocked. All changes shall take effect in four days.’ A voice was heard, but no one said anything. It wasn’t like the kids nor Mr. Miller could hear what this voice was saying, so why was it speaking?
The glowing piece of the tenth planet started to phase through the car's floor before it landed on the ground. The piece of the tenth planet was like a seed, it planted itself in the ground and completely disappeared, but not without the mysterious voice following soon after. ‘Revival of Planet Zome begins in one day.’
Sirens could be heard coming from the distance, and people were outside gathered around the wreckage. Stepping outside of a fire truck was an older man in his late forties with jet black hair that was gelled back. “Step aside folks, let us do our job.” He spoke with an authoritative tone.
The older man started giving commands to his subordinates, while they acted swiftly. They opened the doors to the black Mercedes and the older man sighed. ‘Damn, what a waste of a damn good car.’ He said to himself as he told his subordinates to get the people out of the car.
“Chief, this one isn’t too good. He’s already… gone.” A woman spoke as she dragged out an older male from the Mercedes.
“The others?”
“They are fine, only light injuries except for that kid in the front. It seems that he’ll be out for a little longer than the others, and his left leg is fractured.”
“But he’ll make it right?”
“Of course chief, but it’ll take a little longer.”
“Cover that one up with a sheet.” The older man pointed towards the older male who was dragged out from the car. He turned towards the woman and said, “As long as he’ll make it, that’s all that matters.”
‘Four survivors out of six. If only we would have got here sooner.’ The older man spoke. He glanced towards his right and saw the crowd of people standing by. ‘To think we wouldn’t have even known about this if we never got that call. When the news gets here, we’ll have to thank them publicly.’

This was the ending of chapter 2 and it's short I know, but it got things rolling at least... So... yeah, enjoy.
