Chapter 0644
I clenched my fists tightly, and my mouth opened, but no sound came out.
The room's entire wall was covered with my childhood photos. Memories came flooding back, even things I had almost forgotten were forcibly dragged to the surface by these photos.
When I was little, I wore a new dress my mom had bought me and went with my dad to his office. Then, Nelson arrived. In my memory, the two men were always discussing things while I played by myself. But this photo, where I bent down to pick something up and the angle nearly exposed me under my dress-how did he even take this picture?
Did it start back then? The kind uncle from my childhood was no different from a demon!
I forced myself to keep looking. There was once when I followed my dad to a golf course. I thought it was fun and insisted on helping him set up the golf balls.
In one photo, I was crouching in front of them, smiling at my dad. But the angle of the photo was aimed to capture the view down my not-yet-developed round collar.
I was too young and had not even started puberty, and yet he still took such pictures?
My face turned ghostly pale. I felt a renewed sense of distrust in humanity as I saw photos of me in elementary school. Back then, I was of average height and sat in the middle rows of the classroom. But one day, the teacher moved me to the very front row.
I naively thought it was because I had scored first in class. But now I know there was a camera in the left front corner of the classroom.
Every time I sat obediently, hands folded on the desk, the camera's angle was just right to peek at something through my sleeve openings.
My memories were blurred. So, I closed my eyes and pounded my head with my fists, trying hard to recall if there was anything in the classroom capable of concealing a camera.
I thought until my head throbbed, but I still couldn't figure it out. Then, I opened my eyes blankly and continued looking. During gym class, when the teacher made us run, I would sweat profusely. My loose school uniform pants clung tightly to my skin from the sweat, faintly revealing the outline of my thighs and underwear...
I was terrified! Had my childhood been under surveillance all this time? Why did Nelson have so many photos of me?novelbin
One slightly old and yellowed photo immediately caught my attention. It was... the school bathroom... The picture was taken from above me...
I bent over, gagging. I wanted to vomit. The sheer disgust and revulsion coursed through every fiber of my being!
I wanted to use my phone to record evidence, but my hands were shaking so badly that I could barely hold the phone steady.
After much effort, I finally pressed the shutter. The moment I heard the "click", tears streamed down my face.
What I captured wasn't just evidence-it was a testament to the courage I would need someday to expose Nelson's deeds publicly.
Why? Why did it have to be me? Was it a crime to be a beautiful girl? No, being a beautiful girl wasn't a crime! The fault lay with those who harbor twisted intentions!
I forced myself to calm down and began searching for a key.
The photos were meticulously arranged and locked inside a glass display cabinet. I needed a key to open it and take them away!
I scanned the room but found nothing resembling a key.
Without hesitation, I grabbed a nearby stool and hurled it at the glass cabinet with all my might! But the expected sound of shattering glass didn't happen!
The stool had already fallen to the ground, yet the glass remained intact-it seemed to be reinforced.
I picked up the stool, ready to swing it again, but the glass cabinet suddenly emitted laser-like red lines. But at the next second, a deafening alarm blared throughout the room!
