Chapter 106

Just as Shirley was about to speak, she suddenly heard a commotion from upstairs.

Ivy opened the door and peeked through the crack. The noise grew louder, clearly coming from the floor above. She vaguely made out words like "move out" and "throw it away", which immediately startled her. The only person living upstairs besides Wren was herself after Clara had moved out.

Could it be...

A guess formed in her mind, and Ivy could no longer hold herself back. She rushed out of the room.noveldrama

Shirley, hearing the noise and noticing Ivy running out, immediately followed.

As soon as Ivy reached the hallway, she saw that her door was wide open, with household staff moving her things out. It didn't take long for her to realize that everything being moved was hers.

Seeing her luxury brand bags and other expensive items being handled carelessly by the staff made Ivy's heart ache.

She rushed over, furious. "What are you doing? Who gave you permission to just barge into my room and move my things?"

Her voice was sharp, and her eyes were red with anger. After all, she had finally managed to take Clara's room, getting closer to Wren in the process.

At that moment, Martha emerged from her room after hearing the commotion. "It's my order to have them move it. Do you have a problem with that?"

Her cold gaze swept over Ivy, and then she addressed the household staff, "Ignore her. Keep moving. Throw all of her things out."

The staff, not daring to defy Martha's orders, quickly resumed moving Ivy's belongings.

"Don't move it! Stop! These are my things. Put them down!"

But no one listened.

It was then that Ivy truly understood how it felt when she had ordered the household staff to throw Clara's things into the small room

downstairs without her permission.

Back then, Ivy had been in a position of power, and the staff had dared

not challenge her. Now, the roles had reversed. Seeing how the household staff carefully followed Martha's orders, Ivy realized that she was being treated just as she had

treated Clara-if not worse.

She had only made the staff throw Clara's belongings into a storage room, but Martha was going so far as to throw her things out of the Zachman residence entirely.

It was clear now-this was an attempt to humiliate and force her out, all while ensuring the staff saw it.

Ivy was trembling with anger. She looked at Martha, her eyes filling with grievance. "Mrs. Zachman Senior, what are you doing? This is my room. Wren and Carlisle gave me permission to stay here.

"Even you shouldn't be so disrespectful, barging in and ordering people to move my things like this!"

"Your room?" Martha sneered at her. "This is Clara's room. Are you trying to steal it from her?

"I didn't know that while I wasn't here, you had the audacity to bully my granddaughter. You even dare to occupy her room. How shameless are you?

"Since your mother didn't teach you properly, I'll help her teach you a lesson you won't forget. You have no right to covet other people's things!"

The surrounding household staff exchanged uncomfortable glances. While they had been moving the items earlier, they hadn't known the full extent of the situation.
