Why were so many monsters cheering for him?
Murray was truly perplexed now. Even though he was the son of a Titan and a Golden Dragon, this scene was just too exaggerated.
From the edge of the castle to the edge of the island, there were monsters everywhere, bowing and worshipping him. They were packed densely, shouting his name and showing him the utmost respect.
Both Titans and Golden Dragons, although rare and powerful creatures, weren't so extraordinary as to warrant such a reaction, were they?
"Murray, shall we go down?" Sophia, who had appeared behind Murray at some point, asked softly.
"Uh, sure, do I need to say something?" Murray scratched his head with his chubby little hand.
"No need. You just need to stand here and prove your existence to them. That's the greatest encouragement you can give them."
"Okay!" Murray reluctantly descended from the lookout. The feeling of being cheered on by numerous monsters was actually quite amazing. Although he was initially a bit overwhelmed, his nerves were now tough, and he easily accepted this grand scene.
As Murray left, the cheers of the monsters gradually subsided. Then, filled with excitement, they began to discuss among themselves before eventually leaving and returning to their original positions...
Back in his room in the castle, Murray turned to Sophia, who had followed him. He was full of doubts, and he knew he could get some answers from the golden-haired dragon maid who held a special status in the castle.
"What's going on?" he asked.
"Murray, do you know what this sea we're in is called?" Sophia didn't answer his question directly but instead posed one of her own.
"How would I know?" Murray raised an eyebrow. He only had a general understanding of the world of Eralasia, where he was from, through his inheritance from both the Golden Dragon and Titan lineages.
"Eralasia is a vast world, with the main continent bearing the same name. Twelve smaller continents surround it, protecting the main one in the center. Thirteen continents divide the oceans of equal size."
Murray didn't know where he was, let alone the name of the sea.
"It's called the Thunderstorm Ocean."
"The Thunderstorm Ocean?" Murray exclaimed. He recalled reading about this ocean in the knowledge passed down from the Golden Dragon lineage.
"Yes, this is the domain of the Titans, to which your father, Anseol Iapetus, belongs. The ocean was named after the power wielded by the Titans. Before the Titans occupied it, this ocean had another name, but hardly anyone remembers it now. And the group of islands we're on is called..."

"The Titan Islands." Murray interrupted before Sophia could finish. In the knowledge passed down from the Golden Dragon, there was information about this ocean, and the Titan Islands were considered a forbidden place by the ancient Golden Dragons due to the fear of the Thunderstorm Ocean.
Understanding his location, Murray suddenly realized something. He understood why his mother, the Golden Dragon, chose to build the castle on the edge of the islands rather than in the center. This was Titan territory, and without his Titan father's influence, his mother wouldn't have dared to come here.
"But I still don't understand why those monsters are so excited to see me."
"Because in the future, you're very likely to accept their allegiance," Sophia said with an oddly expression.
"Huh?" Murray looked puzzled.
"Murray, you have to understand that for the creatures living in this ocean, Titans are the supreme rulers. Even though the Titans don't care about these things, it doesn't change their status as rulers."
"Ah." Murray nodded, seemingly understanding, but still not quite getting it. He gestured for Sophia to continue.
"In the Thunderstorm Ocean, countless marine tribes want to pledge their loyalty to the Titans, willingly becoming their servants. However..."
At this point, Sophia's expression turned somewhat helpless. "The Titans simply don't accept their allegiance because they consider it meaningless."
Listening to this, Murray's eyebrows furrowed. He almost understood what was going on but still didn't fully grasp it. He let Sophia continue.
"However, fifteen years ago, we followed Lady Atreus Elonsis to the Titan Islands. When the creatures of the Thunderstorm Ocean heard about your existence, as the son of a Titan and a Dragon, many of them came here, wanting to follow you and pledge their loyalty."
"Fifteen years ago, I was still an egg!" Murray laughed at Sophia's words.
"Yes, at that time, your existence was only a rumor, but it caused quite an impact," Sophia said, recalling the scene with a smile.
"Lady Atreus Elonsis initially didn't intend to build such a large crystal castle, nor did she plan to use magic crystals for construction. But when Lady Atreus arrived here, countless marine tribes offered various treasures mined from the seabed, with magic crystals being the most numerous. Lady Atreus was amazed by the mountains of magic crystals and other treasures. I'll never forget the look on her face."
Here, Sophia couldn't help but giggle. "So, Lady Atreus decided to build the castle using magic crystals."
"So, that's how my mom's castle was built. In that case, I have at least half ownership of this castle." Young Murray naively thought.
"At first, there were only about thirty Cloud Giants guarding the castle, and five Storm Giants," Sophia continued, ignoring Murray's comment.
"But now, there are over sixteen hundred Cloud Giants and nearly a hundred Storm Giants guarding the castle, and their numbers are still increasing. It's foreseeable that more Cloud Giants and Storm Giants will come here in the future because of your existence."
The terrifying influence astonished Sophia even now, but it was undeniable. Even for a legendary Golden Dragon, the number of giants guarding the castle was excessive.
"The Titans rejected them," Murray said with a strange expression on his face. "So, how can they be so sure that I, who supposedly have Titan blood, will accept their allegiance?"
"Not only do you have the blood of Titans, but you also have the blood of Golden Dragons. And dragons, especially, like to have some servants to guard themselves. So..." Sophia stopped there. At this point, there was no need to say more.
Indeed, many dragons liked to have servants, whether good or evil. For example, many chromatic dragons accepted almost anything as long as they pledged allegiance, even goblins, kobolds, and other infamous creatures were accepted.
Murray sat down on a crystal bed crafted from glowing red fire elemental crystals, contemplating with his hand on his chin. Before he was even born, so many powerful creatures volunteered to be his minions. Just thinking about it made him feel comfortable all over.
"Murray, do you intend to accept or refuse?" Sophia asked.
Upon hearing Sophia's question, Murray frowned. Like his father, the Titan, who would cleanly reject such offers, he felt a bit reluctant to do so.
But just a while ago, standing on the rooftop, accepting the worship of hundreds of Cloud Giants, Murray found himself somewhat addicted to this feeling.
So, he raised his head, and a smile appeared on his chubby face. "Why refuse? Of course, I choose to accept!"
Sophia nodded, her face beaming with a bright smile, before leaving the room.
Not long after, Murray heard faint cheers from outside the castle. He walked out onto the corridor and looked down through the transparent crystal, seeing the monsters below cheering and rejoicing.
Perhaps due to the soundproofing of the castle, the cheers that should have been thunderous were barely audible to Murray. It felt as though he was watching a silent play.
But even without hearing the sounds, Murray could feel the excitement of the monsters. They were dancing and shouting with all their might, their veins bulging as they vented their excitement.
This excitement seemed contagious, spreading rapidly and pervading the entire island. Then, the sea around the island boiled as nagas, merfolk, tide giants, sea beasts... various marine creatures surged out of the ocean once again, shouting and creating a spectacular scene.
Murray knew that all of this was happening because of him. He looked down at Sophia, who had just left his room, standing next to a fifteen-meter-tall, muscular Cloud Giant.
"Sophia, the Dragonblood Maiden who carries the aura of True Dragons!" Murray muttered her name and then returned to his room.
