"Murya Ia'pertos Alonsas."
Involuntarily, Ye Tianrui's mouth opened, uttering a string of extremely convoluted words. Then, with a slight pause, he realized without needing an explanation what he had spoken: "That's my true name."
As Ye Tianrui uttered his true name, two vast and majestic streams of ancestral knowledge flooded into his mind. It was the knowledge inheritance belonging to the top races of dragons and titans.
A massive influx of knowledge flooded Ye Tianrui's mind, swelling until his head throbbed, and his young face contorted in pain. But this discomfort lasted only briefly before dissipating.
"Finally, I've survived the initial inheritance of dragons and titans," Ye Tianrui sighed with relief. He had no doubt that continuing to absorb more knowledge would either burst his brain or render him a fool. Fortunately, the knowledge inheritance of titans and dragons was segmented, unlocking gradually with age and increasing strength.
Otherwise, whether titan infants or dragon hatchlings, receiving the entire racial knowledge inheritance at birth would only lead to brain overload. Even the most powerful creatures were fragile when just born.
The powerful beings who left behind knowledge inheritance for their offspring did so to make them stronger, not to overwhelm them with an abundance of knowledge.
"This is a titan, my father," Ye Tianrui said, looking at the man with black hair and golden eyes who stood before him, towering over him like a giant. The recently acquired knowledge made it clear to Ye Tianrui the identity of the imposing figure standing before him.
"And a golden dragon, my mother," Ye Tianrui's gaze shifted to the gleefully watching golden dragon beside him. The aura of a substantial golden dragon enveloped the magnificent hall, emanating terrifying pressure. Yet, this immense pressure didn't oppress Ye Tianrui; instead, he felt a sense of kinship from his bloodline.
"My father is a titan, and my mother is a dragon. My goodness, this is an inter-species forbidden love, and I am their love child. This situation is quite complicated," Ye Tianrui mused, his thoughts muddled after understanding his relationship with the titan and dragon.
Though he had thought a lot in his mind, only a moment had passed in reality. The exhaustion from breaking out of the shell had almost depleted all his energy, and his body demanded replenishment.
Having been tossed around by the inheritance knowledge, Ye Tianrui felt a strong hunger, driving him nearly mad.
Ye Tianrui, with his eyes seemingly glowing green, scanned the surroundings. He found himself in a vast room, entirely constructed of shining crystals. He lay at the center of a concave on a large amethyst-black crystal platform.
Everywhere he looked, there were shimmering crystals exuding an extravagant aura. If not for the overwhelming hunger, Ye Tianrui would have appreciated the surroundings. However, his focus was solely on food now.
"Food, food, where is the food?" Ye Tianrui muttered incessantly in the dragon language he had inexplicably learned. Then he caught a whiff of a tantalizing scent.
The narrative has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the infringement.
His nostrils flared, sniffing the aroma that made his stomach churn even more. Finally, Ye Tianrui's gaze settled on the golden eggshells beneath him, still coated with transparent egg fluid.
The tempting scent emanated from above. It was the smell of food. Without hesitation, Ye Tianrui reached out with his small, chubby hand, picked up a piece of eggshell with egg fluid, and stuffed it into his mouth.
Forget about eggshells; in a state of extreme hunger, one could eat anything—grass roots, bark, soil, or even each other. So, what could eggshells possibly be? Although Ye Tianrui was no longer human, he was still a humanoid creature.
"Crack!" The eggshell broke with a crisp sound. Ye Tianrui's eyes lit up. Contrary to his expectation, there were no sharp edges. The texture of the shell, akin to metal, crunched pleasantly between his teeth, just like crisps from his previous life, with a hint of sweetness and no hint of fishiness.
Subsequently, Ye Tianrui knelt on the amethyst-black crystal platform, using both hands to pick up pieces of eggshell and stuff them into his mouth. "Crack! Crack! Crack!" The eggshells were chewed into pieces, creating a continuous sound reverberating in the vast room.
The golden dragon mother watched affectionately as her son broke his shell and began his first meal. As Ye Tianrui ate, his soft golden dragon wings on his back gradually extended and hardened along with his growing body.
Seeing this, the golden dragon mother's face softened with joy, her delight undisguised. On the other hand, the titan father's expression changed. His brows furrowed, forming a "川" character wrinkle, his face looking grim.
There was no precedent for titan infants to peck eggshells; titans were viviparous, unlike dragons that laid eggs. Seeing his son with half-dragon blood eat the eggshells and undergo positive changes, he couldn't bear it.
Ye Tianrui didn't notice the completely different expressions on his parents' faces. His attention was all on the eggshells.
Whether titan or dragon, as the top of the food chain, both possessed astonishing digestive abilities. With a mix of both bloodlines, Ye Tianrui naturally had a terrifying digestion capacity.
Ye Tianrui could feel that the eggshells he chewed and swallowed were immediately digested, breaking down into the nutrients his body needed, with almost no impurities left.
As his body quickly regained strength, and the fatigue disappeared, Ye Tianrui could clearly sense his body growing slowly but steadily, with his forehead elongating on both sides, his wings gradually spreading, and his tail swinging more powerfully. The strong force caused a slight "whoosh" sound as it struck the amethyst-black crystal platform, making a dull "thud" sound.
...After stuffing the last piece of eggshell into his mouth, Ye Tianrui was surprised to find that the feeling of hunger in his abdomen had not disappeared, but had diminished significantly. Considering that he had eaten enough eggshells to wrap himself up entirely, this was remarkable.
Ye Tianrui propped himself up on the crystal platform, his legs beginning to exert force. Having completed his first meal and undergone reinforcement, his skeletal structure was sufficient to support his weight. Thus, under the gaze of his titan and golden dragon parents, the little guy with wings on his back shakily stood up and made his second proclamation in the world.
"Dad, I'm hungry!"
Ye Tianrui stood shakily, speaking in a childish tone of the Titan language to his father.
The titan, who had previously furrowed his brows and looked gloomy, heard this and instantly smiled. Extending his right hand, he conjured a piece of meat the size of his palm and gently placed it beside his son.
In Ye Tianrui's eyes, a meat mountain appeared in his father's hand, then his titan dad threw it beside him. The huge meat mountain fell, creating a strong shock wave and vibration, knocking him over.
Ye Tianrui sat on the crystal platform, feeling dizzy. He shook his head and looked at the huge piece of meat on the ground, rubbing his eyes and muttering to himself, "How could it be so big?"
This meat mountain was his own creation, made by selling cuteness with an embarrassed face. With tears in his eyes, Ye Tianrui vowed to finish it. He was filled with sorrow and indignation. He had only wanted to cheer up his Titan dad, who seemed unhappy, by using some Titan language he had just learned from the Titan lineage, and casually asking for food. Little did he expect this outcome.
"My old man, how much do you think I can eat? Do you have no sense at all? Did you want to stuff me to death with this meat mountain?" Ye Tianrui muttered to himself as he lay on the meat mountain, eating.
"Can't deny it, this meat is delicious," Ye Tianrui exclaimed sincerely after taking a few bites.
Several hours later, "Burp!" Ye Tianrui let out a loud burp and lay back in the gap he had eaten into the meat mountain. His belly had bulged noticeably.
Ignoring his parents, who had been watching him eat for hours, he closed his eyes and fell into a deep sleep. He had reached his limit; he couldn't eat anymore, and his body demanded necessary rest—he had only just been born.
In the days that followed, Ye Tianrui lived the life he had always dreamed of: eating to his heart's content, then sleeping, and repeating the cycle. This decadent lifestyle left him very satisfied. The only thing that surprised him was his terrifying appetite. Each time he ate, he consumed food equivalent to five to seven times his own volume.
Initially, Ye Tianrui was somewhat uneasy about his monstrous appetite, but after receiving the indifferent gaze of his golden dragon mother, who often enjoyed watching him eat, he guessed that such a terrifying appetite was probably normal for dragons or titans.
Maintaining this terrifying eating routine three times a day resulted in Ye Tianrui's rapid growth. His body size changed almost daily, growing continuously as if there were no end in sight.
