Chapter 19: Cloud Island and the Ferocious "Husky"

Murray lifted his head. The room was dim under the cover of the curtains, but the sunlight streaming through the cracks illuminated everything clearly.

"Very white, very big," Murray lowered his head, looking at where he had just been buried, and earnestly commented.

"Hey, Murray, you're awake." Murray's movement woke up the dragon maid Mia beneath him. This unusually bold maid looked at him with a hopeful expression. "Are you going to sleep a little longer?"

"No need, I've slept enough." Murray was now fully awake, in high spirits, and feeling very good. After all, he had just woken up to a wonderful sight for a male.

However, Murray climbed out of Mia's embrace without any reluctance, not because of his strong self-control, but because the beautiful scenery was just scenery to him. His body couldn't support him doing anything extra.

"Let's go." Murray put on the robe, which he wasn't sure if Mia had taken off, and prepared to leave to do what he had planned before going to sleep—practice the Titan's combat techniques.

"Will you come back next time?" Sitting in her thin silk pajamas, the dragon maid looked invitingly at Murray. To her, it didn't matter who saw her; whether it was her roommate or the little kid in front of her, Murray.

Upon hearing this question, Murray's lips twitched. Now he truly realized that being cuddled by this dragon maid all night was somewhat unusual. All the other dragon maids, including the head maid Sophia, treated him with utmost respect.

But this one, instead of just being bold, had crossed a line. All the dragon maids knew his identity as the offspring of a golden dragon, and yet she had dared to sleep with him in her arms. It was beyond bold.

"You're called Mia, right?" Although it was a question, Murray's tone was affirmative. He remembered clearly being woken up by someone pinching him.

"Yes, I'm Mia, Mia Stoke." The dragon maiden nodded excitedly.

"Do you use perfume?" Murray asked, tilting his head.

"Perfume?" Mia smiled awkwardly. "Before I came here, I was just a noblewoman's daughter. I've never used such fancy things."

"Oh." Murray nodded, then muttered to himself in a voice only he could hear, "So what I smelled was your natural scent."

"Mia, I remember you." Leaving these words behind, Murray disappeared from the sight of the two dragon maids.

"Hey, Michelle, what did Murray mean by that?" After a moment of silence, Mia, with a hint of nervousness, asked Michelle.

This story originates from Royal Road. Ensure the author gets the support they deserve by reading it there.

"Now you're afraid? Why weren't you afraid earlier, when you cuddled up to Murray all night?" Michelle rolled her eyes. "Don't worry, Mia. Murray may be the son of a golden dragon, and we may not understand his thoughts, but no matter how you think about it, it should be a good thing for you."

"A good thing? Hehe." Mia giggled at Michelle's words. "I wonder if I can cuddle Murray in my arms every night from now on!"

"You're dreaming." Michelle sneered.

Outside the Crystal Castle, the cool morning sea breeze blew. Murray stood in front of the castle gate, looking at the twenty-four cloud giant guards on one knee before him. These were the cloud giants guarding the castle gate.

"Is Commander Abbott on duty today?"

The twenty-four cloud giants looked at each other, and then one of them, mustering his courage, answered, "Commander Abbott is not on duty today."

"Oh." Murray was about to go find the more familiar giant commander but remembered the giant commander, Borton, who had presented him with the refined gold on the castle platform that day.

"What about Commander Borton?"

"Also not on duty, Your Highness Murray."

"Very well." Hearing the answer he wanted, Murray smiled. He spread his wings, nearly twenty meters wide, and soared into the sky with a single flap.

Murray looked in a certain direction, then waved his strong and powerful dragon wings, flying towards the massive white buildings that housed the cloud giants, the residents who gathered around the Crystal Castle. He wanted to find both Commander Abbott and Commander Borton there.

As Murray descended from the sky, the once bustling cloud giant gathering place, now turned silent, as dozens of cloud giants knelt down before him.

"Good morning, Commander Borton, Commander Abbott, and Commander Saga," Murray greeted with a smile. He no longer stopped the cloud giants from bowing to him; Murray had chosen to accept this behavior.

"Your Highness Murray, do you have any orders?" asked Abbott, the kneeling cloud giant commander, respectfully.

"I want to find some ferocious beasts to practice the Titan's combat techniques, so I'd like the two commanders to bring some cloud giant guards with me," Murray said. The son of a rich man does not sit in court; Murray understood this principle well. He naturally wanted to eliminate any danger to his life and practice martial arts in absolute safety.

"The Titan's combat techniques." The cloud giant commanders, Borton and Saga, lifted their heads, their eyes shining brightly as they looked at Murray. Both of them were close combat professionals, and they were extremely eager to see the "world's strongest combat techniques."

Every close combatant in the world would like to witness the Titan's combat techniques, and of course, learning them would be even better, but that was almost impossible. To learn the Titan's combat techniques, there was only one condition—obtain recognition from a Titan.

Although they couldn't learn, witnessing them was still very good. Unfortunately, Saga, the other commander, felt regretful because Murray had directly chosen the other two commanders and ordered them to follow.

In the Titan Islands, with abundant sunlight and water vapor, each island was covered in ancient forests with lush greenery, brimming with exceptionally vigorous life.

Standing over eight meters tall, Murray walked with a group of towering cloud giants clad in magnificent armor through a forest of diverse and various plants. Although the plants here grew wild and wanted to occupy every inch of space, there were still wide enough roads for the giants to pass through. These were the beast trails used by the creatures living here.

"Commander Abbott, Commander Borton, it seems that there are many ferocious beasts living here," Murray said, looking at the dense footprints of giant beasts on the ground and smiling at the two giant commanders.

"The resources on the Titan Islands are too abundant, and the elemental concentration here is much richer than in other places, which has given birth to so many ferocious beasts," Borton, the cloud giant commander, said, squatting down to examine the claw prints on the ground, stroking his chin.

"Do you think there are too many ferocious beasts here, Commander Borton?" Murray turned his head, not paying attention to Abbott's words but focusing on the word "cloud island" that Borton had mentioned.

"Not too many, Your Highness Murray, but very many. There were not so many ferocious beasts even on the cloud island where I used to live. It truly deserves to be the place where the Titans reside," Borton lamented.

"Cloud Island?" Murray turned his head, ignoring Abbott's words but focusing on the word "cloud island" that Borton had mentioned. "Is it the kind of island that floats in the sky?"

"Yes, Your Highness Murray."

"I really want to see it." Murray had been in Eurasia for almost nine years now, and he had seen many incredible things and creatures, but he was still very curious about the cloud island that only existed in fairy tales from his previous life.

"Your Highness Murray, we have found a pack of ferocious wolves here," a cloud giant's shout came from afar.

When Murray arrived with the two giant commanders to the pack of ferocious wolves, which had already been surrounded by dozens of cloud giants, he looked at the nine giant wolves lying belly-up on the ground, all of them dark blue.

"Perhaps I shouldn't have brought so many cloud giants," Murray sighed as he saw the scene.
