Chapter 317

Noelle turned over again, trying to force herself back to sleep. But as soon as she closed her eyes, the thirst became even more unbearable. After struggling for a few minutes, she finally decided to go downstairs for a glass

It was pitch dark downstairs. After switching on the staircase light, Noelle headed straight into the kitchen.

Just as she finished filling her glass, a hoarse voice suddenly came from behind her, "Pour me a glass, too."

The suddenness of the sound startled Noelle, and the glass in her hand slipped and fell to the ground, shattering instantly. Hendrix reacted quickly-he grabbed her and pulled her aside just in time to keep her from getting cut by the flying shards of glass

But Noelle swiftly shook off his hand.

Hendrix glanced down at his now empty palm before slowly withdrawing his hand. He then stepped forward, poured another glass of water, and held it out to Noelle.

But she didn't take it, instead brushing past him to pour her own. Her action could hardly be called anything but ignoring him.

Hendrix stood there, gripping the glass, as the expression on his face slowly faded away.

Noelle paid him no attention. After finishing her glass of water, she turned to head back upstairs. But she had barely taken two steps when Hendrix suddenly grabbed her hand.

Instinctively, Noelle tried to push him away, but he quickly seized her other hand and pinned her against the wall. Noelle hit her back so hard that she couldn't help but let out a small gasp of pain. Then, she gritted her teeth and glared at him.

"What are you doing?"

"What do y you think I'm doing?" countered Hendrix with a chuckle. "Noelle, tonight's our wedding night." Wedding night?

Before Noelle could fully grasp the meaning of his words, Hendrix had already lowered his head and pressed his lips to hers.

There was still the lingering taste of alcohol clinging to his breath. At that moment, he was biting down on her lips with force, like a predator tearing into its prey.

Noelle tasted blood and was just about to push him away when he seized the opportunity to force his tongue into her mouth. He held her tongue captive with his, ravaging it with an almost frenzied intensity. He still had her hands pinned, leaving her completely unable to fight back. The saliva she couldn't swallow in time trailed down her chin, gliding over her collarbone and continuing downward. Hendrix freed one of his hands and slipped it under her pajamas.

Tonight, Noelle was wearing the silk pajamas he had prepared for her in the room. Though the buttons were securely fastened, they proved useless against his brute force. With a single tug, the buttons scattered onto the floor

Faced with his practiced movements, Noelle found herself with almost no room to resist. As she gradually lost her strength, Hendrix pressed her down onto the kitchen island

He was still wearing the same outfit he'd left the house in earlier that day. His shirt remained on, though his belt

was undone and hanging loosely around his waist.

Noelle hadn't turned on the kitchen light when she came downstairs. But the moonlight tonight was bright, spilling through the window and casting a soft glow that made Noelle's skin appear even more luminous. And in the slightly cramped space, every sound seemed magnified.

Hendrix hungrily sank his teeth into Noelle's neck and gurgled down her blood.

Just as Noelle felt like she was on the verge of suffocating, He suddenly turned tender.

"What should you call me?" he whispered coaxingly into her ears. "We're married now, so what should you call me? Hmm, my dear wife?"
