Unfortunately, as much as I wished to avoid meeting the aliens again, it seemed that was not possible. Goddammit! It feels like there’s no escaping this nightmare.
Next thing I knew, the portal spat me out onto solid ground again. The blinding light was familiar, yet still overwhelming. Though after a few seconds, my eyes adjusted, revealing the same vast, colossal white room. And, just like before, humans were scattered everywhere—at least a couple million of us. The realization hit hard: I was back in this hellish place once more.
And just like before, the enormous entrance door would open, and the aliens would make their grand entrance, stepping forward with the same methodical, eerie precision, and begin their usual introduction. The hollow echo of their words, cold and emotionless, would fill the room. I’d heard it all before—every unnerving sound, every unnatural movement. But this time, I wasn’t going to stand still and watch it play out.
No, because this time, I decided to go on the offensive.
After boosting my stat points earlier through daily quest rewards, I could already feel the difference, subtle as it was. A faint but unmistakable surge of power pulsed through me, making my muscles feel just a little more responsive and my senses a touch sharper. Of course, I was still far from invincible, but I was no longer the weak, terrified human that I had been the first time I faced them. I was stronger now—stronger than the average human, at least. However, I still don’t know if I could beat these aliens in a fight; hell, I wasn’t even sure if I could land a single blow. Regardless, I had to try, or else I would never know.
There was a gnawing voice in the back of my mind, reminding me that if I failed, I would die. Painfully. Again. But so what? Isn’t that better than standing still, doing nothing at all? Letting them toy with us like insects beneath their boots? At least this way, I had a chance. However slim it was, it was mine to take.
While everyone else was lost in panic and confusion, I darted toward the massive entrance door and hid against the side wall. My plan was straightforward: set an ambush. If the aliens let their guard down, I might get a chance to at least take one of them out.
And if I managed to kill even one, I'd likely gain a substantial amount of experience points and level up. Once that happened, facing them again on my next respawn would be much easier.
Hehe! I’m a genius! Just kidding—I'm pretty average in school. But maybe, because I’m desperate to survive right now, my brain’s working better than usual. Who knows? Anyway, let's focus right now. I think it’s about time the aliens would appear.
With every passing second, I could feel my heart pounding harder, each beat echoing in my chest like a drum. My breath was shallow, barely keeping pace with the rising fear that threatened to overtake me. I glanced at the others—some were trembling, others wide-eyed with terror. They all looked lost, shock written all over their faces, still trapped in a fog of panic and confusion. Honestly, I couldn’t blame them. Who could? After all, no one wakes up expecting to be abducted by aliens.

A few minutes later, I began hearing loud footsteps and could sense that the aliens were approaching. Eventually, the enormous metal door slid open, and I was right—it was indeed the blue aliens. I called them blue because their skin had a bluish tint.
There’s no time to hesitate! Now or never!
WHOOSH! CHARGE!
In an instant, I darted out from my hiding spot, charging toward the nearest alien with all the speed and force I could muster. My plan was to catch them off-guard, to land a decisive blow before they could react. But just as I closed in, one of the aliens turned his head. His eyes locked onto me with a chilling, calculating gaze.
Noooooooo!!! It was then I knew I had failed.
The alien’s reaction was instantaneous. With a fluid motion, it raised a hand, and a shimmering blue barrier shield appeared in front of it. My outstretched hands hit the barrier shield and were repelled with a force that nearly knocked me off my feet. The impact left my arms numb and stinging, the barrier’s energy sizzling against my skin.
W-What the hell just happened?! A barrier shield?!
"Fuck!!!" I shouted in frustration, my voice echoing off the massive walls. It was then at this very moment, I knew I was done for. I’m completely doomed now. I hadn’t realized that these aliens were this powerful. It seemed I had truly underestimated them.
A surge of embarrassment and anger flooded through me. My plan had failed, and now I was left to face the consequences. I could already tell that the aliens were displeased with my actions. Dammit, it’s fucking over! I’m sure they’re going to torture and torment me even more than the others now.
As I glanced around, I saw that everyone was staring at me, clearly judging my actions as reckless. From their expressions, it seemed some of them probably thought I was an idiot for daring to attack the aliens. They probably believed I was making the situation even worse by provoking the aliens.
Out of nowhere, one of the blue aliens vanished and suddenly reappeared right in front of me. In an instant, the alien seized my throat with his enormous hand, holding it in a vice-like grip and leaving me struggling to make a sound or draw a breath. Panic surged through me as I gasped, my lungs desperately fighting for air.
Fuck!! Why are these aliens so powerful?!! I thought, my mind racing. Did they genetically modify their bodies to achieve this level of strength?!
Desperation set in as I fought against the alien’s unyielding grip. Each attempt to break free was in vain; the alien’s hold was like iron—unyielding and impossible to escape. No matter how fiercely I twisted or squirmed, the alien’s grip remained unshakable, driving me closer to suffocation and overwhelming me with fear.
“Fuck… you! You son of a… bitch! Let… me go!” I barely managed to choke out, my words filled with frustration and rage. My anger surged so intensely that I didn’t care about the consequences anymore.
This particular alien holding me was an imposing figure, towering at about nine feet tall. Despite the stream of curses pouring from my mouth, the alien maintained a calm, almost amused demeanor. A slow, sardonic smile spread across his face, clearly impressed by my audacity.
“Heh, not bad!” the alien said, his voice carrying a note of genuine intrigue. “Never in my life would I have imagined a human would dare to attack us so suddenly. How interesting. You’re probably the first human ever to not only avoid panic and confusion but also to muster the courage to launch an attack against us.”
The alien looked at me with a mixture of curiosity and approval, as if my boldness had sparked a rare sense of respect. His grip remained unyielding, but his words suggested a certain admiration for my defiant spirit in the face of such overwhelming odds.
